I ordered a tropical açaí bowl and waited 15 minutes before having to tell the staff I couldn't stay any longer because I needed to get back to class. The employees started raising their voice about how the manager was to blame for the chaos, complaining that he was only there briefly and made things worse before leaving. The yelling and disorganization behind the counter created an incredibly stressful atmosphere, making me anxious before heading back to class. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Their smoothies have been pretty consistent. I get the strawberries wild or açaí antioxidant drink and they're delicious. But one time I went, I saw the employee pour my smoothie in the cup. It was clear to me he didn't make enough. It was an inch or so away from the top. I notified the cashier to come over. She also agreed that it was not full. Today, I discovered a location close to me but to my dismay, the menu had obviously changed in the last ten years and my sweet ambrosia had slipped away. This review is for online ordering, which I've done three times. Seriously the greatest thing, other than having a drive-thru, for a Mom with little kids. When my little ones had sore throats I knew a Jamba Juice was all they'd have for a meal, so I jumped onto my phone and thought I'd try the online ordering. I purchased two kids smoothies and one for myself too. The app said it would take a few moments so when I pulled up a minute later and stepped inside, I was shocked to hear them say, "yep here they are". How can you be so incredibly rude to a CHILD!!!!!???? Yes, the child does not link chunks in her smoothie and REQUESTED your POLITELY to please blend her smoothest well so there are no chunks. Your response was SO nonchalant. Like you said "whatever" without saying those words. My workout drink of choice is the berry workout. If you get a small it should hold you over and work as a meal replacement. It comes with soy or whey. I opt for whey. I like Jamba Juice, I find the vibe of the store to always be very bright and energizing. I love the strawberry surf rider smoothie, that's my go to here. My main cons with Jamba that put it a little bit lower than other smoothie/drink places is 1) the pricing tends to run a little higher and 2) this location has hardly anywhere to sit. There's not even 5 tables total, counting both inside and outside. The lack of seating means that you can't really go here with a group of friends and hangout. I feel like these days a lot of cafes and drink places have ample seating, board games, wifi and all sorts of other things that make it more enticing for you to stay a while and relax while you enjoy your drink, and Jamba is lacking that.
