Great experience eating and shopping at Kiosk Brazil. They have a cafe in the back with food and drinks. The lady was very helpful in explaining the menu and deciding what to order. Got the acerola juice, which was very fresh and made to order. The Brazilian tapioca crepe was very big and filling. Had a unique texture as well. The chicken and catupiry coxinha is like a deep fried shredded chicken croquette with a soft texture inside. The chocolate cake was also very delicious without being overly sweet. Definitely want to try more things here, especially the fresh juices! read more

Kiosk Brazil is a family owned store that sells authentic Brazilian food and items . The owners Marta and Wilson are always there helping customers and making sure everyone is helped . From groceries, beverages, coffee, healthcare items, souvenirs , cooking utensils , tee shirts and caps, children's soccer team tee shirts. It's really well kept and very clean . The staff is so welcoming and friendly , they welcome as if they are welcoming you to stay and enjoy , towards the back you will find a small restaurant that reminds you of a Brazilian " Doceira" where people can enjoy their delicious sweets like " brigadeiro" , " quindim" , " pudim ", " bolo de cenoura" and traditional savory snacks like " coxinha" , " kibe", " empadas de palmito". Being from Brasil , their store makes you feel like you are back in Brasil , I love picking up food there , it brings memories from our childhood days in Brasil, everytime I bring their food home it brings my family memories of happier days in Brazil. read more

Prompted by friends from Brazil, i ate here yesterday! (To-go) My receipt states i ordered: 1.) Pastel (carne c\ queijo) 2.) Chicken empada 3.) Porcao de Mini Coxinha 4.) Kibe I figured I'd try at much as possible, as i drove 30 minutes to get here! This review is for the Cafe featuring street food in the back. Since I've not been to Brazil, but know people from there, I'm taking their word for this food. The #4 was interesting in presentation, but was, to me, basically an 2xl meatball! The only thing i think i needed was some sort of dipping sauce. Straight beef-cone! If they have a version of Texas State Fair down there, this would be featured! The #3: basically 10 hushpuppies, but with a little bit of cheese inside. I ate them like candy. So many carbs this day!! #2: i tasted no chicken at all, so not sure if they meant chicken flavored? This one messed me up, because it looked like a beautiful cupcake-type pastry, but not sweet or bread-y! 1.) This was my fav, as it was the biggest and tastiest! Mine was beef, and was like 3 Hot Pockets on steroids!! I'm TOTALLY getting 3 of these next time, in differing meats! In Closing: this is a Brazilian GROCERY store; super clean and quiet for the time of day i visited. Helpful staff. Good parking. The only problem i had was the TV menu at the Cafe - it changed too fast. Heheh!! It took me forever to figure out what to order, and i went in with a few suggestions! (They were out of some things at the time though.) I felt like an idiot waiting for the menu screen to circle back around. It's not extra fast, just seemed that way for a non-Brazilian. In a desolate strip mall set behind a vast and largely empty parking lot in this part of east Plano is a Brazilian jewel. And a jewel because it's definitely one of the few in the entire Metroplex that sells Brazilian products. The only other one that I am aware of is much farther west, in Irving by Arlington. But not only do they sell products, they also sell "salgados" or savory snacks from behind their "cafeteria counter" such as empadas (mini pot pies), coxinhas (similar concept to arancini), and esfihas (similar concept to Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern meat / spinach pies), as well as the expected pão de queijo (cheese bread), açai, and espresso-based coffee drinks. When I came by, I had the hearts of palm empada, coxinha do frango e catupiry (chicken & catupiry cream cheese), and Arabic-scented beef esfiha - and I could not find fault with any of these items. In fact, I was surprised by how well the coxinha was made here, thinking to myself that it tasted better than what I had in a Brazilian bakery in Florida. I would be happy to order any of these again. Prices are great, service is friendly and knowledgeable, and all-in-all, it's a great place to stop and recharge. The most popular day to come here is on Saturdays, but they are open daily. read more

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. I went to this store to buy some Brazilian products, despite the price being very high. While I was choosing some items, Marta (the store owner) went and changed the price of one of the items that was already in my basket. When I went to pay, I was angry to see the different price and I told her I wanted to return the product. Marta said I should thank "GOD"for allowing me to return the item. In addition to making a mistake when changing the price of the product I already had in my bag, she was very arrogant in using the name of God in vain. She didn't want to give me her name either, I had to ask three times. read more

Three words...Pão de Queijo. Having experienced the greatness of it while visiting Brazil many years ago, as well as eating an abundance of it when eating at the various Brazilian steakhouses, I was thrilled to see that Kiosk Brazil sold it! For those with Martha Stewart or Gordon Ramsay in their bloodline, they sell the mix. For others, like me, who tend to mess things up, the pre made product is available. It's quite easy for a family to polish off an entire bag in one sitting, so be aware. Kiosk Brazil also sells a variety of candies, coffees, cookies, etc. Worth the trip! read more

I go here for mostly one thing - picanha. Travel 10 miles to get it, but would drive an hour if I had to. My family and dinner guests always enjoy this Brazilian steak so I keep coming back. Nice little shop to buy Brazilian groceries. I only got the snacks that they sell behind the counter. The chicken coxinha, beef esfhina, and the cheese bread were all pretty good, but I can't really speak for their authenticity. I'd probably come back again if I'm craving these again, but it's unlikely I'll come for the groceries. I suppose if you're looking for ingredients common from Brazil, come here! read more

I went there to try some Brazilian groceries after seeing a Mark Wiens special.pleasantly surprised to see they had a small bakery. I ordered Coxinha and cheese bread. The cheese bread was very good and the coxinha had a dry interior. They have some groceries and the meats and cheeses are expensive. The reason I give it three stars is that the staff was unfriendly and rude. They did not greet me or ask if I needed anything. The best thing I got here was the diet guarani soda. This store is a combination store that sells a variety of Brazilian imported food goods and also offers some traditional Brazilian snack foods that you can order cooked in the store. This store does not have as wide of a variety of products that the Brazil Brasileiro store (now shut down) used to offer, but I was able find most what I was looking for. Plus it is the only Brazilian import store that I know of in Texas. I really hope that the large Brazilian community in Texas will support this store so that it can grow and prosper. So many of them have shut down due to lack of support. I hope with time they will be able to get a larger variety of products from Brazil. read more
