Love everything here !! So refreshing and tasty. Clean place, friendly staff, decent prices

The place is definitely aesthetically pleasing. There isn't much seating area in the front but about 3 or 4 tables in the back that you can go and do some work. The place seemed pretty busy. I got the mango tea and I absolutely loved it. The tea was not too sweet but not too bitter. The boba to tea ratio was perfect as well. Staff was patient and helpful. Would definitely come here again read more

Been here a couple times now and Gong Cha is definitely one of the better boba places in the Dallas area. One of my favorite drinks there is the Lemon Ai-Yu with white pearl (but I always get it without the white pearls). The white pearls have a very interesting texture... the texture is kinda like the canned water chestnuts they put in fake Chinese food. Their regular black boba is just alright. It's definitely not super sweet- Gong Cha's boba is actually not really sweet at all. And the boba itself seems smaller than Kung Fu's and Sharetea's. Another drink I love is their Earl Grey Milk Tea. I love anything Earl Grey and I've come to find that not many boba places have an Earl Grey Milk Tea so I definitely enjoy it a lot (it comes with herbal jelly, pudding and boba but you can always ask for it without all the toppings- I always do that). I also get all my drinks at 30%. They say their drinks are all 70% if you don't ask to change it, but honestly, it tastes a lot sweeter than 70%... The place is clean, cute, spacious and overall a good place to study or hangout! read more

Good boba shop in Plano for studying or hanging out with a friend. Quiet and chill ambiance. Good drinks and service.

With the an oversaturated (and I'm not complaining at all!) of Bubble Tea places opening up in the Plano area, this one has stood out to me the most (haven't tried Fulll) yet. Gong Cha is one of those places that has stuck out to me. With the nice wood finish interior and various drinks with an instruction picture, I'm glad I stumbled upon this place with a friend. I ordered the Milk Tea with pudding with less ice and 50% sugar (see pictures of the instruction manual on how to order), and it was simply astounding! It has to be the fresh milk they produce in the place that gave it a special flavor in my mouth. My friend got the Green Milk Tea with white pearls, and man, I loved his drink more than mine! If you're looking for something BOTH creamy and sweet, look no further! This is the epitome of that, and I'm amazed by how his drink blended in so well together. All in all, definitely would recommend if you're in the area. Looking forward to trying Mango Mango next :). read more

So excited this Gong Cha has opened by my parents! The milk tea and boba is delicious - fresh and chewy. My main order is always the black milk tea, but the ginger milk tea is delicious also (made with real ginger - the drink will have ginger strings in it!), and the wintermelon is a refreshing option for summer days (plenty of those in Texas). Love that it is open late - definitely a great hangout for Plano! read more

Nice place. Tasty tea. For some reason it is better then other Gong Cha I had. Very modern decor. Must visit. What I like the most is the cleanliness. Great uniform. read more

This is definitely going to be one of my favorite bubble tea places in the H-Mart area. This place gives you a stamp on your punch card regardless of what size drink you ordered (cough cough Kung Fu Tea). Also when ordering, they ask how much sugar and ice you want. My mother would love this place since she's always trying to get minimal ice and sugar and maximize the amount of actual tea in her drinks lol. I ordered the green milk tea, which normally comes with white boba. I had zero clue what that was, but the barista was very generous and offered me a small cup of it to try. It has a jelly texture and reminds me of lychee a little bit. I was surprised that my drink came out looking like normal milk tea because I was expecting matcha, but they use real green tea and it was delicious! read more

Really cute decorations, yummy drinks and super nice service. I usually get the Brown Sugar Milk Tea, Earl Grey Milk Foam. read more

Gong Cha - Yum. But would ask for 50% sugar next time! - Bubble Tea Near Me - Plano, Texas

really cute interior and a great working space for students looking for a quiet place to study while sipping on a delicious drink! came in here after our mango mango dessert run next door (lol) and ordered drinks for the next day. if you want boba but don't wanna risk them getting bloated and soggy if you save the drink for the next day, get the crystal boba/white tapioca! it's agar jelly, and its lightly sweet and has almost a bit of a crunchy chew; i like it alot!! Their teas are all relatively standard but good; a little bit on the pricier side, but its a chain thats obviously doing well in both dallas and houston. be sure to check the place out! they've got a huge variety of tea leaves to try from. read more

If you want a place to tea & chill, this is it. Absolutely lovely interior, well-lit, with cute Asian pillows and even cuter weird mushroom characters (you'll see what I mean). Never seemed to get crowded, but of note, no large tables (so best for 4-5). read more

This is my first time! I got the Milk Foam Oolong Tea with white pearls...it was delicious! It was milky yet refreshing! You actually see the foam cascading down into the amber Oolong tea! It's magical! My friend is a Gong Cha regular and she had the Milk Foam Green Tea with white pearls as well. If you like green tea, you'll love this option! The ambiance is modern and relaxed. read more

My favorite milk tea store in the area! Gong Cha is an authentic boba chain that began in Taiwan, and offers smooth, delicious drinks that don't carry overtones of sugar, condensed milk, or powdered flavors. In fact, the drinks lilt softly across your tongue, leaving impressions of robust flavor profiles. My personal favorite is taro milk tea with pudding, but their menu is full of yummy options. Definitely a must if you're ever in the area and craving a drink! read more

Our favorite boba spot in town. Very good customer service. There are board games, just ask.

Gong cha just became one of my favorite boba/tea shops! I like their brown sugar milk tea, regular ice but 50% sweetness with boba and pudding. I went in 30 minutes before they closed on a Saturday night and they still had boba! read more

If you're looking for a nice and well decorated place to spend time with friends, Gong Cha Plano is for you. Their milktea is awesome. Wintermelon tea with milk foam and regular boba is my favorite. 70% sugar lvl is just right for me and the boba is chewy and fresh. I'll definitely come back here to try something else on their top 10 menu. read more

I normally don't come here bc of the location of this place relative to my house. My friends always rave of how good their drinks are and I decided to try it out for myself tonight. I was pleasantly surprised by Their Earl grey milk tea with 3 J's (boba, herbal jelly, and pudding). The toppings were plentiful and the drink tasted pretty solid. I asked for less ice and I drank my drink pretty slow but I still had like 1/3 cup of ice when I finished, so I would maybe recommend ordering half ice or little ice. The sitting area in there was not huge but it was more than sufficient for the people that's were there. I didn't pay for my drink, because my friend did, so i can't speak on their pricing. They also have games to play so it seems like a pretty good place to hang out or do some homework. Overall I would come back again to try more drinks. read more

This is my absolute favorite Bubble Tea brand when I lived in Singapore. The tea tasted the same when I tried it in this outlet. I always go for the Mustache (Milk Foam) series with Green Tea, Black Tea or Oolong Tea. You know the tea is good when you can order it with 25% sugar. I wouldn't have gulped it down if the tea wasn't strong. Wish I am rich enough to open a franchise in Tulsa, Oklahoma. read more

Love the interior! So many seats, really cute, and an IG-worthy place haha. Their drinks are also pretty good. Drinks are regularly 70% sweet which i didn't know so when I got my passion fruit drink it wasn't as sweet as I would've liked - 3.75 (mainly because of the interior!!) read more

When I heard Plano was opening one, I knew I had to check it out but I missed the soft opening bc I was busy. I love going to gong cha in Houston, TX and I think this place in Plano is also great! The tea tastes like real tea and I'm a fan of the classic milk tea and I love it! The boba is soft and chewy, so it definitely hits the spot. I'd def come back to try again to try other drinks soon to get my tooth sweet fix! The service is fast, so it's convenient to get it to go. read more

Gong Cha - Super delicious green milktea with white pearl and pudding - Bubble Tea Near Me - Plano, Texas

Alright, so a couple great things about Gong Cha. They're open pretty late, so if you're having a late night and decide that you want some boba, then Gong Cha is the place to go. Their mango and passion fruit slushes are pretty good, though I have had them not blend all the ice to a pulp before. A couple things that just don't make sense to me. 70% sugar is their normal sweetness. That don't make a lick of sense. If you're going to make anything normal sweetness, *that* should be 100% and you go from there. Want less sweetness, then 70% should be less sweet. Then 130% can be more sweet. That makes sense. Then, we've once gotten the suggestion of both white and black boba. DON'T DO IT, unless you are having a bad day and you want your boba drink to match your day. The white boba is not the same consistency as the black boba. It's less chewy and more crunchy which is NOT what I want in a boba. Otherwise, service is good. Parking is a bit limited, but it's manageable. read more

Prob one of the best boba drinks I've ever had! I'm Taiwanese so that obviously means a lot ;) I got the milk foam earl grey boba and it was delicious! Their flavors are really unique and different than your typical boba place. I like how it has a hint of saltiness and the drink was not too sweet. The boba was cooked perfectly. Lots of space and tables and they have board games if you're into that. I love how they had instructions on the lids! Bc tbh I don't think I wouldn't known how to drink it. Really liked this place! read more

Weather you are a coffee or tea lover, one thing for sure is this place specialize in tea. If the tea taste like water they would gladly make a new batch for you. For those who are first timer Milk Tea is the best way to go. It has a taste of milk and an after taste of tea. For those who want something great try their Lemon Ai-Yu with White Pearl. Lemon Ai-Yu with White Pearl would be a best choice for summer time. Very refreshing with full flavor. ItDepend on your taste buds 30% sugar is equivalent to one sugar cube and 75% is equivalent to full flavor ice cream. Decorations is very cozy making you feel as you were at a home. They have free wfi along with various of games to play. This is a great place to hangout and you can stay as long as you like. Service is one of the most important thing in every business. For time here they took time to explain each drinks and what drinks are popular. They would willing to give you the full experienced of every drink they make. If the first one taste like water they will make another one no questions ask. read more

What to like about this place: - Opens till midnight - great decor and furniture to turn this place into your own office - patio to sit outside and enjoy the weather - close to 75 - offer different levels of ice and sugar - medium is quite big actually. It's it 20 oz. The boba tea here is: - clean and refreshing - The green tea is way better than the black tea - on the sweet side P.s. I would avoid the pearls. The white pearls have a strange texture. Like a harder Jello. read more

I got the coffee milk drink with tapioca, it was not very good. First off the coffee was very bitter and harsh. Almost tasted as though it was burnt coffee. Then the milk in there was just not enough to combat the coffee. The place was cute and well lit. Perfect and quite to study, but the drinks just seem, ehhh. Perhaps another drink would be better here, and maybe it was just what I happen to get. read more

I saw people from Vietnam going crazy for this brand of milk tea. Lucky I had a chance to check it out when I visited Plano. I had the cashier recommended the green tea milk form with white pearls. It was amazing. I loved it that I could choose the level of sugar and ice. My husband tried hot oolong tea without sugar and he said he felt relaxing drinking it. I have a sick obsession with bubble tea. I've been to this location twice and loved it both times. Super clean, friendly employees and a lot of tables with board games! I've always gotten my drink to go but this would be a fun place to hangout at. Both times, I ordered a Classic Milk Tea. I love how you can customize your tea to exactly what you want. They give you a lot more options than other bubble tea places. The Tapioca Pearls are cooked to perfection and have a slight hint of lavender to them which I love! read more

80% of the time I visited this location, they seems to always have problem with their reward system. I'm not sure if this problem is globally. But when I visited different location, I have never encountered that issue. I'll give them another change, see if this problem still keep going. read more

I come here all the time and I love it here. The people here are so friendly and always make my drink really quickly. I come here almost every other day because I just love the environment and I love their tea. I tend to get their Lychee Oolong Tea, though because I can't handle too much sugar I always ask for half sugar. And they make it perfectly each time! If I could, I'd give them 10 stars, but as such I can only do 5. read more
