This is a lovely little bubble place near the pickleball facility I often play at. I tried a few drinks here, like the Thai tea and regular black milk tea with boba. The tea flavor was good. I particularly liked their boba, which was chewy and sweet. I also tried their flaming brown sugar tea with tapioca, which was rich and creamy with a nice toasty sugar flavor. This boba place offers more than a wide variety of boba drinks. They also have a good selection of snacks, like popcorn chicken nuggets, pork chop and curry items. You can taste the lychee in the tea and it tastes pretty light! The boba texture is a good mixture of chewy and soft which is the perfect consistency for me. The popcorn chicken is hands down the best around the DFW area (from at least the places that I have tried). It's crunchy, hot, fresh, seasoned well and the list goes on and on. This is my go-to place close to UTD for popcorn chicken. The crunchiness also stays for a while too! Overall just such good chicken. The Fizzy Peach Pop is definitely well-carbonated and has great peach flavor! I think there was jelly included as well which was chewy and added a fun texture to the drink! I wish I tried the milk tea, but the blue Galaxy tea looked really pretty in the other photos of it posted on Yelp... Nevertheless I'm glad I finally tried Vivi's. I've seen other locations in other cities I've traveled to, but I just never got the chance. The blue Galaxy tea isn't sweet. Don't get it in 50% sweetness like I did. Otherwise it might taste like lemon water with the occasional lychee jelly. Parking lot in Vivi's is completely empty due to COVID. You'll need to call to order. Once a worker brings your drink, you'll pay then. Parking next to the curb in front of the doors is super easy. read more

We were familiar with the Frisco location and were in south Plano and decided to stop in for some refreshing cold boba drinks since it's been pretty hot weather. Came here after eating at Wu's Super Bowl as we were craving some boba. + Honeydew milk tea was good + 3q milk tea was good + Boba quality was good - Wait time was awful ... Especially with a fussy baby. It took them awhile to just take the order even though nobody was in front of us. Then drinks were very slow to make (15 minutes). The people after us got theirs before us. Overfull very poor service. EDIT: Despite the comment, the people definitely put in their order after us as they were in line after us and we heard them put in their order, pay, etc. Could be things were just understaffed as looked like a lot of drinks were just sitting out at the counter and seemed a bit disorganized. read more

Friends were telling me this place has the best popcorn chicken so I was excited to try it. They have 5 flavors so we tried the basil, spicy, and salt and pepper. The spicy was good. Tried the Blue Galaxy (on the left) and the VIVI Signature Fruit Tea (on the right); both of them are in their top 10 drinks. I personally wasn't the biggest fan of either and thought the drinks were just okay. Out of the two, I enjoyed the VIVI Signature Fruit Tea more. The service is really good and to top it all off, so is the food. Something many don't know is that they don't offer actual coffee based drinks here. The flavoring will be there but no actual espresso or coffee is used in the drinks. However, they have such a wide variety of drinks to choose from, I don't think it matters lol! They're always super helpful, and I totally love the food. The dishes are great, and I truly hate that one isn't actually near me. I live near downtown, and the majority of the locations are further north - which sucks, bit I've been known to make the drive to my favorite Plano location just for their minced pork & rice! Personally, my favorite is Earl Grey Float. The foam they put on top is very great. The drink and foam blends really well to give creamy yet earl grey flavor. If I am craving something sweet, I would definitely recommend Oreo Creme Brulee. I had in 70% sweetness, but would recommend in 50% and it would still be sweet but delicious! Both were pretty good, but the jasmine float was my favorite! The tea taste of it was great and balanced really well with the foam. Definitely gonna order this drink many, many times! We also got two popcorn chicken bento boxes to-go. Each bento box comes with seasoned rice, pickled vegetables and corn kernels, half a tea egg, fish cake slice and the chicken. You can choose the flavor of the chicken -- basil, spicy, garlic or salt pepper. We asked if we could mix but they said we could only choose one, my sister ordered the basil one because she can't eat too spicy food, whereas i ordered the spicy (EXTRA spicy, i actually told them to make it so spicy that I'll cry). Honestly, we couldn't tell the difference between them, lol. Both had fried pieces of basil and very minimal spice. A little disappointing but nothing sriracha at home couldn't fix. I also asked about the Taiwanese pork spicy noodle but didn't seem too appealing or maybe the worker was unsure of what it was. We ordered oolong cream foam tea and matcha with red bean. They tasted just right. Red bean texture was fresh. I didn't have to ask for less sugar as some place make them pretty sweet. Definitely would come back again when I'm on that side of Plano. The interior is also very cute. I also got the popcorn chicken with basil [I think there were six flavor options to choose from like curry, etc.] It was yummy and came out piping hot. The chicken is a bit on the sweet side. My husband and I went here for boba one day during the COVID-19 pandemic. The shop had implemented a no-contact process for ordering food and drink, so I dialed in my order and went inside to complete the purchase and pick up my drinks. The restaurant looked so nice and cute inside! Perhaps I'll come again and stay with COVID-19 madness is all over. The food menu looked really good too! My husband got the signature fruit tea, and I got the matcha milk tea with red bean. Both drinks were okay, nothing special. I'm not sure if sweetness level was an option, but I was not given one when I placed my order. The staff member kept conversation to a minimum (aka not very friendly), which I would think is to limit my time there especially with the no-contact process they have going on. Vivi is a popular, cute, VERY PINK boba place from NYC. In New York they are known for their boba floats which include cotton candy, pop rocks, ice cream and boba! Unfortunately their boba floats did not make it to Texas yet. I had really high hopes for Vivi's boba since it is a well known franchise. I've tried Vivi and Frisco and was not very impressed but decided to give this new location in Plano a try. This location's boba also did not meet my expectations. I tried their oolong tea float which barely had any hints of tea flavor in it which was really disappointing. the "float" foam was very heavy cream that did not blend well with the tea and probably the worst "float" foam I've tried at a boba place. My mom got the signature fruit tea which was light and refreshing. I've had their fruit flavored teas - mango and passion fruit which were much better in comparison to the milk teas but nothing special that I would specifically go to Vivi for. HOWEVER, their popcorn chicken makes up in what their boba lacks! The popcorn chicken here is the best I've had in DFW! Now their popcorn chicken is something I would definitely make a trip to Vivi for and for which I have on several occasions. I usually get the basil flavor but it comes in other options such as curry, spicy, garlic, and pepper salt. The popcorn chicken is always fresh and hot out of the fryer and ALWAYS DELISH. Trust me on this!! Come give Vivi a try for their popcorn chicken. Unfortunately, their boba can be passed as there are other better boba places around. read more

Not the best takoyaki I've ever had, but certainly good. There was a decent amount of octopus and they were nice and crisp. A little bit too much sauce for my taste, which did make the takoyaki balls get soggy quickly. - Chicken Nuggets Bento Box: great lunch option! It's definitely a large portion and I absolutely love the chicken nuggets here. There are a couple of different flavor options for the chicken nuggets; I usually get salt and pepper or spicy. Tip: one of the workers told me before to not get the basil flavor, because basically all of the nuggets have basil. Getting the basil flavor just means....EXTRA basil. - Flaming Brown Sugar Milk Tea: I had not tried this one before, but am definitely a fan. I'd add this on my rotation of drinks from Vivi, along with the Earl Gray Float and 3Q Milk Tea. I came here during their first week of opening. There was one other customer inside, but that's no surprise given how new this place was. The decor was nice and the place was clean, however the drinks were just mediocre. I got the 3Q and Jasmine Float, both didn't have too much tea flavor but weren't bad either. Out of all the tea places I have tried (which are tons) this one is certainly in the top 5. They have plenty of flavors to choose, with very unique combinations. I tried the Vivi Signature Fruit Tea and loved it, it was rich and very refreshing. It had pineapple, orange, and apple, with chia seeds. I also tried the Chicken Popcorn Bento box (basil, they actually have 5 different flavors) and it was very well done. The chicken feel light and very tasty. They have bento boxes, curry and ramen. Really enjoyed the popcorn chicken snack. Very authentic and reminiscent of the ones you would get at a night market in Taiwan. The black milk tea with boba was decent though doesn't exactly stand out in terms of quality. Being Taiwanese - I am pretty picky on the breading and the crispness. The bentos make for great lunch and dinner options. The appetizers like the popcorn chicken and sausage are good, too. Definitely dig the customization for popcorn chicken. The drinks are also good and different. It's a good break from the typical 85*C, ShareTea, Kungfu Tea, Gongcha.
