I visited Gogi berry wanting to try all the vegan places I could while on a self care trip. The atmosphere was nice, and the girls behind the counter were meek and kind. The food though... wasn't to my liking. I ordered the pesto sandwich. The bread was a bit overwhelming so I had to open it and eat the middle so I could taste the flavors. I also had the dragonfruit drink which was okay. The potato chips were delicious though! It was pretty pricey (like $20) and for what I got I probably wouldn't come back. read more

The food is good. I actually have been coming here since it opened and it was always incredible. I moved to LA and visit when I am in town. The only negative thing is the service takes a while. The atmosphere at this coffee shop is charming with its hanging plants and unique light fixtures, but unfortunately, that's where the positives end. They completely messed up my drink and gave it to someone else - sure, mistakes happen, but the way the staff handled it was just awful. The customer service was dismissive and downright condescending, like they couldn't be bothered. The vegan donut was decent, but a good donut can't save bad service. This was our first time going to this place and we drove 30 minutes to get there. We were excited to come to this place. After waiting about 15 minutes we got our sandwiches. They gave the wrong order to my girlfriend (she wanted the salad instead of the chips BUT we let that that go). I asked the waitress where's our drinks, she said it's coming because it's been busy. After finishing our meal 10 minutes later and still NO DRINKS! We saw the staff just standing around. AND, we people who came in after us RECEIVING THEIR DRINKS. I went to speak to the MANAGER but was not in. They kept saying they were really busy...B.S!!! Finally, the supervisor said, "Sorry, your order got switched around. I ordered the very berry açai bowl, and was very pleased with my choice. It was light and refreshing, everything you would need to beat the heat on an Arizona summers day. The brown sugar, oat, milk, latte that I got was just the right amount of sweetness! The Goji berry lemonade was the true star! Great concept! Cute place and great menu items however the place had a strong humidity smell.

This place is the best in town, they know how to put that flavor on the food! I love all the pastries, Mac and cheese, strawberry matcha, Cuban sandwich, tomatoes soup, and açaí bowl are all great staples. Fantastic food, delicious drinks, so glad that an all vegan place with this delicious of food exists. Had the Cubano and midnight matcha. Yum! Interior and patio are nice places to hang out. Only reason it's not a full five stars is because the door to get in is not ADA accessible. Perhaps the restaurant passed a compliance inspection, I'm not sure. But in reality the metal bar at the bottom of the door is too high for a wheelchair to get across comfortably. I know this bc while I was eating my cubano I watched a family with a member in a wheelchair try to go inside but could not. So they took their business to one of the other places in the plaza as they should. Goji Berry, if you put a solution to this such as a small ramp at your door, I'll update my review to be 5 stars. Food has good flavor but everything we've gotten here is a little underwhelming. $14 for a sandwich with half a piece of lettuce, one thin slice of tomato, and a slice or two of thin deli meat. Sandwich bread is good but that's pretty much all you taste since there's not much else on it. Not bad but wouldn't get again, especially for the price. Ice cream cones are good and priced appropriately for their size. Would go back again to try something from the drink menu or an açaí bowl but probably not for anything else.
