My friend and I came here after getting massages one weekday afternoon. It was busy after 1pm, mostly due to attendees from a conference downtown. I had dined at Goji Berry years ago, and wanted to try out Earth's menu. There's a good amount to choose from, the burritos looked tempting but I quickly decided on the bbq sandwich ($9.75): pulled seitan in smokey BBQ sauce, coleslaw on a toasty ciabatta bun. I got fries with it ($3.50) to complete my meal. The employee ringing me up was friendly and advised that there would be about a 20 minute wait due to the large group order ahead of me. My friend ordered from Goji and we sat at a table on that side. My food came out in 15 minutes, which went by quickly. The sandwich was loaded up and very saucy, so it was messy eating it. But the flavors were strong and it was yummy. I may get hot sauce next time to kick it up. I enjoyed the fries with ketchup on the side to balance it out. They had samples of their spicy jerky, which was good. They have drinks that looked good but I stuck with my water. Overall I enjoy coming here and getting to eat plant-based food. Earth has been one of my go-to vegan spots for a while now, definitely a favorite. I almost always order the Big Cali with cheeze and swap al pastor instead of asada, and it's always been amazing with no issues. This week was a little different though. I had my husband go in to order my usual, and he was told there would now be an extra charge for the meat substitution and cheeze, which is totally fine, no problem there. But then he was told, "if you don't like it, that's on you since you're changing the recipe." That kind of comment completely killed the vibe, and he ended up not ordering. I figured maybe it was just a misunderstanding, so I went in myself the next day to order. Everything was going smoothly until a woman came out of the kitchen to provide that same warning, again emphasizing that if I didn't like it, it would be on me. I understand the upcharge and I completely get that modifications are final sale, that's pretty standard. I've never returned food or had an issue like that before. That said, the repeated warning just felt unnecessary and honestly a bit off-putting. It took away from the overall experience at a place I've always enjoyed. I still got my burrito (and it was great as usual), but just a heads up, if you make any modifications, be prepared for a very firm disclaimer. My friend and I stopped by on our way through Phoenix and had a great quick meal! We were looking for counter service food that was also fresh and tasty. It was dinner times, and the workers all seemed to be moving around a lot but working efficiently. The inside is all, but there is plenty of seating inside and some outside as well. I ordered the Asada tacos and added cabbage, and my friend ordered the Chimichanga. The food came out fast. The Chimichanga was large and my tacos were good! I loved the homemade corn tortillas. I would need to try more food here in order to raise another star. Earth was a good experience up until the end when some of the staff dismissed us and our leftovers ended up being thrown away. We found that this was due to an accident and they ended up replacing them, which was so nice of them. The vibe from the staff, especially the management, was not the best as my friend complemented them on their amazing food--especially since this was his third time there in two days. Their food is seasoned so well that it is difficult to believe that everything in the menu is vegan. I am not vegan, but I enjoy eating more plant based, so I was excited to try Earth. Minus one star for the staff. You can get good food anywhere so for the way we were treated warrants this. But, the fact that they replaced it was kind. I will be back for more of the flautas!! Oh man, I really wanted to love this place. We stopped during a layover in Phoenix & the staff was outstanding, the Mexican music was great, & the food was okay -- while we were there. We ordered asada tacos & the limited time special, Surf & Earth burrito. The tacos my mom had were great, she had no complaints. When they brought out the burrito I had ordered I was shocked, it was huge! (I feel the staff could have taken the time to provide a little more detail regarding their special and mention the size of the burrito because they had a screen advertising the special & it was not as big as the one they brought out.) Well I ask to get it cut in half & it didn't really look quite edible but I gave it a try & yeah, it really wasn't. The surf part of the burrito was gooey, so I didn't eat that part & removed it with a fork. The beans & rice & tomato's tasted like they had been a few days old & when we asked for salsa, the staff provided plastic bottle "salsas" that were creamy dressings that lacked spice & flavor. Since the restaurant advertises as vegan Authentic Mexican Cuisine, it was pretty disappointing. Well we leave & I start to feel a little nauseous in the Uber back to our hotel. We get to the hotel & yes, the worst happens. Hello 2026! I can't believe I've let this review sit in the hopper for as along as I have. Being one of a limited number of restaurants that caterexclusively to vegan / plant based diets, vegans and vegetarians can eat here without needing to disect and investigate the menu while asking 40 questions about ingredients to find something that works. As much as I am that person, I hate being that person... "Are you sure you're sure that the chef is sure about being sure theres no hidden dairy? What about those black beans, were cooked in some sort of animal bipeoduct?!? Can you just double check for me one more time to be absolutely sure?". Every dish here is free from an animal product from their nachos, burritos, and fries, to the tacos, chimichangas and milkshakes. You won't go hungry or leave unhappy with your meal after dining here. I'm on the fence with the over the top dessert and shakes trend, mile high milkshakes are fun for posting on instagram, but not so much for the logistics of actual consumption. Trying to hold a cup with marshmallow stuck around the rim and chocolate sauce dripping down the side might be visually appealing, but when all is said and done, you're using a whole pack of napkins to clean up after, wipe down your face, your hands, your shirt, your kid and the guy sitting at the table behind you because somehow that sticky marshmallow+ chocolate just got everywhere. Either way, it's a fun dessert experience, just don't forget your bib... and the one for your neighbor! As with most vegan restaurants, you're going to get a casual dining experience here. Two and four top tables to choose from, counter ordering, take your assigned number and wait for the kitchen to table delivery by a food runner. Okay, I get it, vegan restaurants are exciting for vegans. They are rare and the ability to eat everything on the menu is a real treat. However, we have to hold them to the same standards as regular restaurants. That said, my hopes may have been set too high by other helpful yet excited fellow Yelpers. I may have asked too many questions at the counter or perhaps it was my admission to being a pescatarian, but I started to feel a bit less welcome while ordering. My sweetheart went with the bbq sandwich. I opted for the potato flautas. We waited a short time in the small attractive space located in a deserted looking strip mall. There is indoor or outdoor seating and a cute coffee spot attached. It was not crowded. Both of our meals were nicely presented at our table on metal trays and looked tasty. The sandwich was flavorful with saucy seitan on a slightly dry ciabatta roll. The fries added on were unexceptional. The flautas were pretty good, crispy but not dry, fried but not greasy, warm but topped with lots of lettuce. But, they were a bit boring and unsatisfying. I kept wanting to steal a bite of my hubby's bbq to add some pizzazz to my meal. It might be okay to share, but 3 of the same were too much of an okay thing. We did not try the highly touted milk shakes after learning they were flavored with syrups. Had a pretty good experience trying this place out - though I wasn't the one ordering the food here really...I did get to try an app with my friend who got a favorite of theirs (flautas de papas) which was actually much better than I expected - extra crispy and very good with the salsas included. I especially liked the green sauce. While I got the buffalo wings with BBQ sauce (created on taro root sticks - very clever btw), served with carrots and celery and a house-made vegan ranch dip. I was sorely disappointed by the ranch but the wings were definitely tasty and served hot and saucy - just like I like them. The Earth side is much cleaner, but colder and seating is woody with gold undertones and the music was much more old school rather than the classical lofi tones on the Goji Berry side so we sat on the other side instead. I don't love that we have to get the food from the counter and retrieve our own water but also find it kind of convenient if I'm not feeling too social and don't want to wait in line. Also feel the same about utensils being self-serve. Will definitely need to come back to try the "milk"shakes. read more

I didn't know this place was veggie based products. I got chorizo fries and the spooky birria tacos. The tacos come in sets of 3. The people here were nice, but the food was not for me lol. The chorizo fries were good and the coconut melon drink was BOMB!! But the birria tacos were not great IMO. It must be because it's veggie based products, so I'm not sure if there was even real meat or maybe something else... they just didn't taste right. The consume tasted like seafood. I can't believe I've never reviewed Earth. When I'm in this area I like to stop here for some delicious vegan food, their flautas de papa are so good. The interior is very inviting, you want to bring a friend or a book to spend the afternoon here. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating. Service is fast and friendly. What a delightful space!! When you walk in, you just know you will enjoy your time here, even before you get to the food. The service is super friendly and the guy working that day was very knowledgeable about their menu inside and out. We ordered chips & salsa, Quesabirria and tacos. Oh, and horchata! Since I gave up me so early in life, I didn't have the opportunity to expand my palate to cultures outside of mine. Taco Bell doesn't count. Fast forward to decades later, I learned of Birria tacos and had been so curious about them. Short of making them myself, I wouldn't have a chance to try them... until my visit here!! WOW!!!! what delicious food! i missed out on this place a few years ago when i was in phoenix, but i came back for a concert and finally got to try it! the restaurant is open and welcoming. you order at a counter and they will bring out the food when it is ready. the menu is fairly sized and full of fun foods. i saw they had a happy hour menu and ended up with the boss fries. there was also a taco tuesday deal available! the food is pretty affordable and seems to be priced appropriately. the portion on the fries was huge and they were packed with flavor. the fries were crispy and i loved the sauce. i was full but i've heard they have excellent milkshakes. next time i am in phoenix i will have to stop by again! read more

EXCELLENT selection of unique, plant-based food! Today I tried 4 tacos as part of their taco Tuesday special (buy 3 get the 4th taco free)! I got the shrimp, fish, asada, and carnitas. All were delicious and beautifully presented, served with house green salsa and lime wedges! The girl at the register was so helpful with picking out options for my first visit. This spot is right next to Gogi Berry Cafe so I was able to sit down here and eat my tacos and get my matcha latte through their connecting doors.
