Pretty tasty food right in downtown. The bulgogi bowl was pretty good. The bulgogi itself was pretty dry but the flavor was like 75% bulgogi which is unique. The real winner here is the tofu sandwich. It has a thick slab of veggie omelet alongside a thinner slab of tofu and plenty of cheese and delicious sweet-ish sauce making for a unique and tasty messy sandwich. The deep fried egg was more of a novelty- just a hard boiled egg with a very light tempura coating. The Korean slaw is just thinly shredded cabbage with a light drizzle of what tasted like a diluted yum yum sauce.

I have been searching for a casual Korean restaurant after my recent trip to Seoul! Gochujang is a new place that serves a variety of street food selections you would typically find in Seoul. The sandwich was my favorite! It comes with a soft fluffy toasted bread, ham, eggs, and mixed cabbage and carrots. Korean egg sandwiches are sweet and nailed with a combination of ketchup, mustard, and sugar! This place as different combos so you get an opportunity to pair with other selections! We got the combo with tteokbokki or spicy rice cakes. The sauce was a little more savory with more onion flavor than what I like. I prefer my tteokbokki sauce to be on the sweeter side. It was still delicious! The rice cakes were super soft and chewy. The restaurant also gave us a miso soup on the side on the house! The soup just warmed my soul. This place is a good addition to the Cleveland Korean food scene! I am looking forward to try the Korean street chicken next time!

Being half Korean, I got a little excited about this new Korean foods spot! Ordered the Black Pasta (Jjangmyeon in Korean) and it was spot on! Also had a side of Danmuji (pickled radish) that paired perfectly with it. My friend ordered the Original Sandwich and she didn't enjoy it much, I took a bite and I felt the same. I'd much rather have Japchae , kimbap or some other Korean dish. We don't need more American type foods downtown. I definitely want to come back to try their fried chicken and Korean corn dog and I'd definitely recommend the "black pasta" Everything was priced fairly and the service was very welcoming and kind Don't sleep on this little Korean spot

My mother and I had a late lunch her before seeing a show at Playhouse. It was one of the few restaurants open before 4:00 on Sunday! The person taking orders was very friendly and helpful! He described the dishes, showed us pictures, and helped us pick items that wouldn't irritate my mom's ulcer. We got the black pasta combo. It came with the pasta, fried chicken and a drink. The portions were very generous. A great way to try Korean food, if you haven't had it before. The atmosphere is pretty casual, and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely go back.

Korean street chicken, pickled radish, kimchi, house jjajang sauce. So freakin good. And not crazy expensive either.

I have been wanting to eat here for months and I'm glad I finally did. The food was so good and the service was quick and easy. They got a very simple and comfortable dining area for eating, studying, or whatever. This place is great I would highly recommend it. Is it family owned? I'm not sure, but if so I support it even more.

This meant that I was able to eat the traditional Korean New Year's Soup for good luck, health, and happiness. I had always ordered other soups, but what I love about this place is the consistency of always having the soups come out exactly the same. I stopped by again this New Year, and the gentleman who served us is always focused to ensure everything was aligned and served well. The banchan (side dishes) were always filled when needed. The calm but filled restaurant shows that this is truly a staple in the Parma area, and it was such a pleasant "taste of home" for someone who is half Korean. You know it slaps when the parking lot is filled, and their phones are ringing non-stop. The culture the restaurant brings also invites locals who are trying Korean food for the first time. I truly admire how the place represents that it's owned by hard working people who extend the value of our community.

The food was really good, though I was a little upset that they didn't have tofu available when I went, even though the online menu said otherwise. Still, everything else hit the spot. I also love that they have photos of the items on the menu--it makes ordering so much easier. It's a great spot for large groups and the service was solid. If you're looking for authentic Korean vibes, this is the place to go.

The food is fantastic and is family-restaurant style. While it might not be super flashy and trendy, it doesn't need to be. The food speaks for itself! You cannot go wrong with any dish on the menu, to be honest. While I have a seafood allergy, our many friends and family members that have tried a larger section of the menu have raved about it! My favorites are the japchae and the dol sot bibimbop. I like to add a good helping of gochujang to mine, and I also add some ssamjang to add a little extra to it (sometimes they'll bring out lettuce for some ssam as well!). My husband has tried many of the dishes, but his absolute favorite is the jjajangmyeon. Our toddler enjoys the bits and pieces from our various meals, and also likes the kimbap (she's still figuring out how to eat the seaweed wrapper, but does good work with the interior filling). I will admit that we have not done the KBBQ at Miega, but we've seen the bbq tables filled regularly and the food looks amazing! The staff members are incredibly friendly and kind, and our toddler loves seeing and interacting with them. They are very baby friendly and welcoming! Miega is one of our favorite restaurants and we try to tell everyone about it when they are looking for something new to try. From the incredibly warm and welcoming staff to the truly delicious food, we hope to keep going to Miega for many years to come. We are so happy to have a place like this for our baby to grow up going to as a family favorite restaurant.

Nice and brightly lite place. Got the kpop mv going on in the background. Got the service button on the table. Got Korean deco going on. I had the galbi tang and translate fried chicken in honey garlic. Wings came out first, piping hot. They give you plastic gloves to use do you fingers aren't sticky, which is awesome. Wings have a nice crunch to them and very juicy on the inside. There was about 8 pieces a mix of drums and flats. The flavor was a bit subtle, did not taste any garlic just honey. Galbi tang came out slot with like 7 ban chan. Also pipping hot. Got three pieces of galbi on the bone. Some glass noodles, bit of veg, and egg drop the soup. Came with a bowl of rice too. They don't have the purple rice option or I didn't see it in the menu. But regardless, galbi tang was delicious. Kinda wish the side dishes were a bit better, kimchi and the radish kimchi was okay. Def a spot I'd come again to try the rest od their menu. Friend got their jajaiangmien, looked pretty good. Their bbq option is a small menu and requires two orders minimum. Oh they also have bingsoo for dessert, gotta try this out during the summer time.

I think we tried everything but the spicy chicken and beef brisket were the favs of the group. Lots of sides and rice. Nobody left hungry that's for sure lol!! Service was great as well. Our main server was consistently checking on us and getting refills very fast. There were several other servers who stopped by as well. They changed the grilled quickly so we could keep cooking and stuffing our faces. Place was WAY bigger than I expected from the outside with plenty of seating and private-ish spaces. Because of that experience, we came in with high expectations and were really excited. At first, I liked this restaurant for its cleanliness and cute decor. The overall ambiance gave a very pleasant first impression. However, my experience today was quite disappointing. I was not satisfied with the service or the food quality. When the server brought us to our table, she seated us at the front near the entrance by the snack corner. We asked if we could move to a table in the back, but she told us those tables were for non-bbq guests. We were okay with that and stayed. However, shortly after, we saw other parties being seated in the back and eating KBBQ. That felt inconsistent and honestly disappointing. We ordered the yookhwe (beef tartare) bibimbap ($20.95), the Korean beef BBQ combo for two ($119.99), prime rib ($44.95), and makgeolli. Honestly, the portions were lot smaller than I expected for the price. Brisket only came with 6 thick pieces and galbi came with 9 to 12 pieces depending on how you cut them. The last straw was just seeing 10 small pieces of prime rib. As for the taste, it was decent but not the best. The banchan, doenjang jjigae, and steamed egg were good, but the beef was tough and hard to chew. The sauce on the marinated galbi actually hardened like candy after grilling and stuck to my teeth and the plate. We cooked most of our meat ourselves, which we didn't mind, but it seemed like our server was busy with other tables. Overall, I was disappointed and probably won't be back. If you've never had KBBQ, it might still be worth (?) a try considering for the authentic experience, but I don't think the service, portions or quality make it worth the price.

The hotcakes weren't hot but weren't cold. They'd be great if hot. The mess with eating these is unbelievable. They come in paper sleeves and with the first bite the sweet syrupy filling bursts out the other end which will leave whatever it hits in a super sticky coating. Beware.
