I ordered take out so I do think it would have been better if we sat down and ate there so the food came on the proper dishes. It was quiet there for dinner time but I did go at 4:00 PM. The hostess did help me right away. Overall the food was good and it was nice they gave us the normal sides I feel they usually do if you sit down. The food was still warm by the time I got home. Only reason I am giving it a four star is we asked for the bulgogi to be spicy and it was not. If you want chopsticks, make sure to ask as they only provided forks

Korea House has been my favorite spot for Korean food for the last 20 years. The food is always great, and the service is friendly and quick. I've never had anything that didn't meet my expectations. Tonight was no different. We started with Haemul Pajun, which was delicious and crispy. The Dwenjan Jigae soup was delicious and peppery, perfect for a cool fall day. Dakqui was good, but a bit dry, but it tasted fine. Ssam Bab was so flavorful that your taste buds will thank you. Bulgogi is always good and always a favorite.

Dolsot Bibim Bab ($14.99) -- hot pot rice topped with assorted vegetables, chopped beef, and fried egg (served with red chili paste sauce)

I visited for dinner in late October 2024 with fellow Yelper, Christina P. We were both starving because we had just come from a private group salsa dance class at Viva Dance Studio across the street. Suffice it to say, I was ready to eat. While I've traveled to China before but not South Korea, I generally love Asian food including Korean food. FOOD -- Lots to choose from on their menu. I ordered the number 37 on the menu which is the Dolsot Bibim Bab ($14.99) -- hot pot of rice topped with assorted vegetables, chopped beef, and fried egg (egg cooks in hot pot when you mix it in) plus served with red chili paste sauce. YES, YES, YES. Gimme, gimme, gimme more. The Doltsot Bibim Bab (no. 37 on the menu) was absolutely delicious and served HOT. The addition of the red chili paste, once mixed in, really brings out the flavour of the whole dish. If you like rice and meat then order the Doltsot Bibim Bab. I recommend this restaurant and I'll definitely be back. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 125/150 total reviews in 2024 - 774 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 8 December 2024

Awesome Korean restaurant! Meet up with some friends, family or dine alone and enjoy! Drink a nice couple cold Cass beers or some Jinro! The food was excellent and staff was kind.

Wholesome little restaurant with homey vibes and an extremely friendly staff. Ample parking outside in the lot. The food here was very comforting and tasty with lots of flavor. Army stew was so good on a cold snowy day. The broth was the perfect spicy level. Lots of toppings and meat to be shared between two. Loved the sundae so much, it was my first time having it and it's amazing when paired with the army stew or sauce from the Tteokboki!! Everything was so simple yet so good. Will definitely come again if I crave Korean comfort food.

Phenomenal!!! The bibimbap was amazing! I loved the crispy rice my husband raves about the fried tofu!! This will be a regular place for us!

I flew into CLE at around 9 pm so most dinner options were closed, but I managed to order Korea House to my hotel right before they stopped accepting orders. I was craving a warm soup because it was so snowy, so I ordered the sundubu. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. No issues with delivery, arrived promptly with no problems. The soup, however, was one of the most bland/underseasoned sundubus I've ever had. Usually, the soup is red in color, but my broth was mainly clear with a slight rim of red oil on top. For the most part, this felt like a tofu and onion soup, with a dash of seafood. I've never seen a sundubu with so many onions? But I felt like they made up the majority of my bowl. This sundubu left much to be desired. Came with a container of white rice, no notes.

Adding this place to one of my Korean food go to spot! This place gets busy during peak hours so make sure you go early or make a reservation. It looks like only a duo running the restaurant. Food was served relatively quickly and tasted delicious! They also offer KBBQ and I look forward in coming back to try that next.

Honestly, one of the best spots for Korean food that I've had in Cleveland! The servers were so nice and so attentive, and I just really like the vibe inside of the restaurant. The sides were so good! My personal favorite was the cucumbers. Even though I know they're all pickled, everything just tasted so fresh. We also got the ggang dwenjang and the sundubu which both came out hot and steaming with a bowl of rice. The ggang dwenjang really hit the spot, and it was salty in all the best ways. The sundubu was pretty good too. They didn't skimp on the seafood at all, but I do wish it came with an egg. I'd love to go back and try some appetizers and kbbq!

Yum! We stumbled upon this place after stopping by Kim's convenience next door. Dinner here was great! Prices were not bad for the insanely large amount of food that you get. The food was super filling and tasty. We ordered lumbar, steamed eggs, tteokboki, ramen soup with spam and hotdogs (#5), and another noodle and soup dish. Staff was attentive. Music was on point! Everything that played is what's on my work playlist. Had an amazing experience and will be coming back. Can't wait to try their other options. So many options too!

Great Korean restaurant around Cleveland area. Great atmosphere and service. We ordered their lunch special got a Kalbi and bulgogi. Also got to try their Korean pancakes. Foods were delicious and came out pretty quick.

Korea house really does an excellent job of giving that home style cooking feel to Korean food. I would recommend trying to call to make a reservation if you can, as they definitely get very busy on both weekends and weekdays. The space is not the largest, so they fill up quickly. I shared a dinner for two persons, jajangmyeon, and doenjang jjigae with four people, which was the perfect amount of food. The bulgogi and ssam were both so delicious and tender, and very well seasoned. The jajangmyeon was also excellent: there was enough sauce to properly, cook the noodles, which were an excellent texture. The flavoring is a little bit on the sweeter side, but overall very true to form. The doenjang jjigae has a more mild flavor if that's what you prefer, and was a great accompaniment to the heavier meets that we had. It was also wonderful as it was quite cold outside! I was highly impressed with how quickly the food came out once we ordered! It's definitely harder to get the attention of the staff when they're really busy, and I have the impression that this place is run by a family, but they still do a great job!

Good Korean food in Cleveland. Courteous service. Good ambiance. We were recommended by the local foodie and definitely was better than we expected. Second time to dine here and first time for lunch. Was about $45 for two people including tip.

This meant that I was able to eat the traditional Korean New Year's Soup for good luck, health, and happiness. I had always ordered other soups, but what I love about this place is the consistency of always having the soups come out exactly the same. I stopped by again this New Year, and the gentleman who served us is always focused to ensure everything was aligned and served well. The banchan (side dishes) were always filled when needed. The calm but filled restaurant shows that this is truly a staple in the Parma area, and it was such a pleasant "taste of home" for someone who is half Korean. You know it slaps when the parking lot is filled, and their phones are ringing non-stop. The culture the restaurant brings also invites locals who are trying Korean food for the first time. I truly admire how the place represents that it's owned by hard working people who extend the value of our community.

This hole in the wall continues to offer some of the finest Korean food in Cleveland…read more I came here the other day for lunch. When I opened the menu, I was sad to see the galbi lunch box - my former go-to - was no longer an option. So I had to settle for one of the other lunch boxes - spicy pork bulgogi. Though the spicy pork bulgogi wasn't as delicious as the galbi (I LOVE Ha Ahn's galbi), it was still a delight to my taste-buds. Regular bulgogi can sometimes be a little too sweet for me, but the spice offered a nice contrast and balance to the sweetness of the meat, which was tender and juicy. In addition to a sizeable portion of pork, my lunch box came with a salad, a crispy mandu, kimchi, seaweed salad, and a scoop of steamed white rice. It was more than enough food to leave me satisfied, especially when combined with the fresh banchan, which included some greens, more kimchi, some sort of steamed egg dish, spicy daikon, and sliced fish cakes. Along with great food, the restaurant provided great service. Our server kept the refills of hot tea (complimentary!) coming. But please bring back the galbi lunch box!!

Because of that experience, we came in with high expectations and were really excited. At first, I liked this restaurant for its cleanliness and cute decor. The overall ambiance gave a very pleasant first impression. However, my experience today was quite disappointing. I was not satisfied with the service or the food quality. When the server brought us to our table, she seated us at the front near the entrance by the snack corner. We asked if we could move to a table in the back, but she told us those tables were for non-bbq guests. We were okay with that and stayed. However, shortly after, we saw other parties being seated in the back and eating KBBQ. That felt inconsistent and honestly disappointing. We ordered the yookhwe (beef tartare) bibimbap ($20.95), the Korean beef BBQ combo for two ($119.99), prime rib ($44.95), and makgeolli. Honestly, the portions were lot smaller than I expected for the price. Brisket only came with 6 thick pieces and galbi came with 9 to 12 pieces depending on how you cut them. The last straw was just seeing 10 small pieces of prime rib. As for the taste, it was decent but not the best. The banchan, doenjang jjigae, and steamed egg were good, but the beef was tough and hard to chew. The sauce on the marinated galbi actually hardened like candy after grilling and stuck to my teeth and the plate. We cooked most of our meat ourselves, which we didn't mind, but it seemed like our server was busy with other tables. Overall, I was disappointed and probably won't be back. If you've never had KBBQ, it might still be worth (?) a try considering for the authentic experience, but I don't think the service, portions or quality make it worth the price.
