Incredible...the pho is the best in northeast Ohio, not just Cleveland. I grew up literally down the street from Superior Pho, I could hop the fence and walk down the alley, I mean the parking lot was our playground. Everytime I visit my mom, we have to get pho, take out or eat in, doesn't matter. The menu is consistently delicious, curated with family recipes that make Superior Pho stand out amongst the other places in town. Sure it's small, literally off the parking lot (Danford Court) to be exact, but it's well loved and it shows in the eclectic mix of diners and well loved staff. The menu is also simple, but why add too many things that take away from the basics, big bowls of rare meats that cook in broth crafted for hours, you literally just need fresh basil lime and shoots with extra hot sauce to make one's mouth happy. I'm always a sucker for a V1 too, fresh ingredients make all the difference, the vermicelli is delicious as our their tofu rice rolls. On the way out, order a tea, no need to go somewhere else, it's hot and full bodied. A little hole in the wall recommended to us by a friend who is local to Cleveland who's getting married this weekend. She joined us a couple days prior to her wedding to romp around Cleveland and our group of 5 checked out Superior Pho. Delightful. Prompt and friendly service--our server mistakenly put in a 4th bun bo hue soup when we'd only ordered 3, but we brought it to our AirBnB--and excellent food. We ordered 2 bonus bahn mis, per our freind's recommendation, to share table-wide too. Great food. The Bun Bo Hue is mildly spicy for my fellow medium spice tolerant folks. Everything was awesome. Been searching for a pho spot to satisfy my pho cravings. Their sigh is dwarfed by the korean-japanese restaurants sign but it's there. Got two sides of seating. Staff are friendly. I like the table set up with the siracha, hoisin, and utensils all right there like the pho spots I'm use to. I got their goi cuon, pho dac viet, and a boba. Goi cuon came out pretty fast. Nicely wrapped and came with a peanut dipping sauce. The roll was good, I would've liked the peanut sauce to have been a bit more peanuty, and thicker. Sauce was a bit on the runnier side. My personal preference. Pho dac biet soup seems to be the same for all the pho spots in Cleveland that I've tried. It'll satisfy my craving but doesn't seem to be rich. The meat portions were generous for a small. Got their premium oolong milk tea. Didn't taste premium to me. I like you can adjust the sweetness level and ice level. Wish they had just plain regular boba/tapioca balls. Only had them in brown Suger syrup. Definitely enjoyed this spot more than some of the other pho spots. This place is only 5 minutes away from where I work, and I somehow haven't been here until now! When I first pulled in, I was a bit skeptical. It's not in the greatest area. Truly a hole-in-the-wall experience. When you first walk in, you can immediately smell the delicious aromas of what's cooking. I ordered a strawberry bubble tea for my drink, and it was so fun! I was a little worried I wouldn't care for the texture of the tapioca pearls, but they were fine and also quite yummy! For my meal, I ordered vermicelli noodles with tofu. Everything tasted so light and refreshing. The tofu mixed with the different spices was so flavorful and nice. I also really appreciated the texture of the tofu; it wasn't mushy at all! I was in Cleveland for an event and stopped here for a bowl of Pho before I headed back home. It was in the Asian town close to downtown and there were a lot of Pho restaurants to choose from around this area. This place came highly recommended from our friends who are local. The restaurant was a little hole in the wall. There was a lot of parking in the back. We walked in through the back door and to our surprise, there were more restaurants down this hallway. Superior Pho was the first on our left with a glass wall and glass door. Upon entering we were welcomed by this amazing pho smell! It was at this moment I knew we found THEE spot! I ordered the Viet traditional drip coffee with 2 shots of expresso. My husband ordered the Thai tea with Boba. We both shared the Spring Rolls appetizer. It came with 2 medium size fried Vietnamese eggrolls that were so good! For my meal. I chose the #9, flank, brisket and fatty brisket. I really wanted meatballs but didn't want to pay $8.50. I got the Large bowl which was plenty big enough. It went from small to large, XL and XXL. I was curious to see what the XXL was because mine was a very big bowl! It was sooo good! The broth was perfect and the noodle had perfect amount of softness and chewy consistency and there was plenty of meat. They did bring out a plate of vegetables to share for the whole table which was different from other places who give you your own. I guess it's less wasteful. My husband ordered the Vermicelli dish with pork and eggroll. He devoured it. This dish can sometimes skimp on the meat and leave you with a bunch of noodles. Not here! They were very generous with their grilled to perfection pork! The waiters and waitresses had a cute Bruce Lee shirt eating Pho with their logo in the back. We had to purchase one to go! My boyfriend loves pho and had relatively high expectations for Superior Pho just based on its reviews! Overall, we were satisfied with our experience. Their menu was decent, and had a lot of the pho restaurant staples - egg rolls, spring rolls, and various different pho dishes. As for our food: The broth was very tasty and the meat was PERFECT - great quality, texture, and flavor! However, while the portion sizes were fine for the price, our noodles were slightly hard, undercooked, and flavorless - which really took away from the experience. Our drinks also took quite a long time to come out, and we were basically done with our meal when we received them. The Vietnamese Coffee was very strong (as it should be), but the Blueberry Matcha tasted very... interesting, and I probably wouldn't get it again. Let me start saying what I eat here again... Yes. But... My usual pho place is Pho Lee. But they were randomly close today and I really wanted it pho so I decided to come to superior pho. I've always heard good things about the place but when you have a favorite, you have a favorite. I got fun with shrimp and extra green onion... The broth is good, but I feel like it's not as seasoned as my other place. My other pet peeve is that I'm used to getting six really big shrimp and they look like they give you a few tiny ones and also with them being tiny if you don't need it fast enough, they will overcook. I also feel like they're large that you pay a dollar extra for is the same size as Pho lees regular bowl. Overall, I'll probably give this bowl a 7/10... if for some reason I can't go to my favorite place and I'm really craving pho I wouldn't mind this place as a back up read more

Superior Pho is located in a sort of food hall. It contains three or four smaller restaurants with a shared restroom. They're doing some renos and it looks like they'll be adding one more restaurant in the near future. Superior Pho appears to be the go-to, as the other two existing shops were far less busy. We were seated immediately, water was brought to us promptly, and then we waited a bit for a server to take our order. In fact, a gentleman was seated at the table next to ours and a server took his order within seconds, while we continued to wait. We ordered four bowls of pho. They do have some combo options, which is nice. My wife liked the broth, which for her was very light. I have had better, but it was sufficient for our pho fix. To start with the negatives: I was a little sad that they don't have any vegetarian or vegan pho options (all of them are beef broth based). I ordered off the limited vegetarian menu which, to their credit, is labelled very clearly. My tofu/yellow curry dish, while flavorful, wasn't very sumptuous and left something to be desired for 14+ dollars. BUT I did really enjoy my Vietnamese iced coffee, the super friendly service and general hole in the wall vibe, and my friend was satisfied with their beef/brisket pho. I like to try different Vietnamese food spots while I'm traveling. Ordered through UberEats so pho broth was a little lukewarm upon arrival but not a problem. Broth lacks depth and could use a little bit more flavor. My issue is with the banh mi sandwiches, paid extra for extra toppings which did not come on the sandwich and was pretty stale. It harbors many accolades with various restaurant awards, but the place was absolutely packed with a line spilling out the door two days after Xmas, which was a Wednesday lunch. It took us like 20 min to be seated and it was kind of chaos. Every other time it has been more than enough seating. My go-tos: 1) spring rolls with shrimp 2/5 - it was like 90% vermicelli noodles lol 2) #8 pho 4/5 - delicious pho and broth! Note that larger in size just means more noodles I'm relatively disappointed by the holiday rush... when we asked for utensils the server told us to REACH TO THE OCCUPIED TABLE NEXT TO US and take their utensils. I wouldn't have known about this spot if it wasn't for yelp. This place is literally a hole in the wall space in a bigger complex with other hole in the wall eateries. I saw that there was China/ Asia Town here so had to check that out. It wasn't anything like I had expected. For the pho spot it was rated as the best in Cleveland and probably Ohio. We ordered an appetizer but that never came but we were still charged for it. Had to correct that on the bill and wait for the refund. I got the #4 off the Pho section. It had tendon and with eye round steak. I'm glad they gave all the different things you put inside it. I wasn't that impressed with the broth as it tasted watered down and the noodles were stuck together. The service was good except for when they forgot that one item. I noticed how the manager always had to direct the servers on where to go and what to do which wasn't good. Probably the best lunch we ate on our latest Cleveland trip. Prices are great, portions are generous, and the Pho broth is out of this world. The Banh Mi was had the classic pork and pate combo and it was everything I wanted in a sandwich down to the deliciously crispy French bread.
