The service is great and fast. The waitress was very attentive we didn't have to look for her. The food was brought out quickly after ordering. The ambience is casual dining.

Best of all, the food was very good. The coconut shrimp had a nice, crunchy exterior with a pronounced coconut flavor. The beef satay were nice and tender and the peanut and cucumber sauces were nice accents to the satay sauce flavor. And the Tom Kha Gai soup was delicious. Perfect balance of sweet and savory. Our entrées were visual, as well as gustatory feasts. The rice that accompanied our curries was moulded into a cone, which was unique in my experience. The mango curry came with chicken and shrimp and had a pleasant, mild flavor. I asked for my beef Panang curry medium hot and it came exactly that way. Usually I have to order it extra-hot to get it medium. We had sticky rice and mango and Thai custard for dessert. The sticky rice was a tad gluey and the mango could have been a smidge riper, but it was very tasty nonetheless. Neither of us had ever had Thai custard and it was interesting to say the least. It came like a small, flat loaf cut into four slices. It has pieces of taro in it and a very firm texture, but a pronounced eggy flavor. It was a pleasant surprise. Sweet, but not overly so, with a subtle flavor that was quite pleasant. Thai iced tea was the perfect accompaniment to a very nice luncheon.

For lunch, I opted for crazy noodles ($10.95) and chicken coconut soup ($5.95). My friend and I…read morealso split some summer rolls ($5.95). The chicken coconut soup was tom kha gai, something I almost always get at Thai restaurants, though as usual, when I tried the soup, I wasn't quite sure if I liked it or not. The soup is a strange combination of sweet and savory, and the strong taste of coconut milk makes me feel like I'm about to dip into a dessert pudding, but the hot temperature, mushrooms, and chicken remind me that it is a soup. Because I find the taste of the soup wholly fascinating, I ended up finishing the tom kha gai like I always do. My friend tried a spoonful of the soup, and she definitively did not like it because the flavors tripped her up. Tom kha gai is very much an acquired taste. The flavors of the summer rolls were much more straightforward. Each rice paper roll was filled with shrimp, vermicelli, basil, carrots, cucumber, and lettuce. All of the ingredients were fresh, and the roll was tasty when dipped into the accompanying Hoisin sauce. As for the main course, I definitively liked the crazy noodles. The wide stir-fried rice noodles had a nice chew and had a pleasant spice that didn't overwhelm my taste-buds. It came with onions, carrots, egg, broccoli, basil, chicken, and plump and juicy pieces of shrimp. It was a large portion - especially for the price - and full of sweet, savory, and spicy flavors. I scraped my plate clean and even ate the orange garnish with a maraschino cherry.

Thai Dynamite - A4. Crab Rangoon

All warned of the spice levels being REAL. I heeded caution while my mouth is not weak. A must, I got pad thai with chicken (any thai place that messes this up gets written off for me), pad woon sen with chicken, both at the base level spice, and their crab rangoon. I will preface that I did takeout and drove 20 mins home before I ate BUT considering that the food, the food was still hot and delicious. The pad thai had plenty of flavor, fresh veggies and green onions and the right sauce-you could taste the tamarind. The pad woon sen, while not what I'm used to with a darker sauce was delicious and had great spice, perfect sauce to coat all the goods and flavor. The crab rangoon comes in a spring roll form...which I'm not mad at but did make me want more filling to match the extra wrapper. The wrapper is also a different type of fried crunch that doesn't do the same as a wonton but again a vehicle, nonetheless. I definitely have it on my radar for the next time I'm in Strongsville. Small place in an unsuspecting plaza, which is always good, very little tables inside and a little on the dark side ambiance wise. But I don't care when the food lives up to it. If you're looking for flavor, you can't go wrong even on the mild end of the spice spectrum. Don't burn your mouth and miss the chance at tasting the authenticity.

This is more of a takeout spot with a few high top tables for inside seating. So, if you planned to have dinner there, there is no privacy as you can see the kitchen and checkout counter from the tables. No restrooms. Free parking. All orders are piping hot and served in plastic containers. Each order is packed as a to-go order (in plastic containers & in a plastic bag) even if you dine in. The cashier (possibly owner) is friendly and very talkative. They noted the place has been open since 2023 with hope to expand into a sit down restaurant. The food can be made to your spice level. However, keep in mind even the mild was spicy for us. Be careful. If you are vegan, just ask for an option. Generally, some items can be made without fish or oyster sauce if asked. The yellow curry was good, but a bit spicy for us. Decent portion size for $13.95 and comes with rice. Hope to try other dishes someday and will take them to go instead.

What I most love about this restaurant is their collaborative Lakewood spirit. They are part of Bunts to Birdtown (IG buntstobirdtown) which is a local business collaborative of businesses on Madison Ave in Lakewood. The businesses frequently host fun events - shopping crawls and scavenger hunt (such as today). I love that Thai Thai is part of this little business community and stays involved in Lakewood's social scene. I dropped in at Thai Thai for Bunts to Birdtown scavenger hunt. It was my first and much anticipated visit. The restaurant is currently not fully open and has a limited menu. Limited menu includes baos and bubble teas. It opens for full service again on Friday, August 1, 2025 (full menu and table service). The restaurant is small, has few tasteful Thai details (such as Bangkok skyline art) and neon Thai Thai sign. It's on the trendier side. My order: - Baos with roasted pork. -$6 for 2 - Good value and size! Meat was tasty and well prepared, but Bao was light on the meat. Bao had soggy bottom. - Thai bubble tea - $6 - Traditionally with milk, but they were out of milk. It was totally fine with me. Bubble tea tasted like light peach iced tea to me. It was good, but bobas were soggy. - Taro bubble tea - $6 - Pretty Instagrammable lavender color. Subtly sweet. Soggy bobas. Service was really friendly and welcoming. The owner told me that they just returned from Thailand. So it's amazing to have an authentic spot in the city! I'll stop by when full service will open and try other options on the menu to get the full experience!
