    Bibimbop

We had an early dinner here on Saturday and the restaurant was pleasantly full, but not loud. We ordered the seasoned tofu appetizer, the spicy Korean fried chicken, the bibimbop and two sodas. This was a large amount of food for two people but we planned to take leftovers home. The service was friendly and efficient and every dish was absolutely delicious! The spicy chicken was just spicy enough, probably adjusted for a Caucasian palate. The seasoned tofu was a highlight for me, it had a perfect balance of sweet and sour we ended up taking home at least half of everything. It heated up well the following day. Definitely recommend this place!

A friend brought us here while we were visiting town and so happy they did! We ordered about 5 dishes and shared everything family style. The food was all flavorful and adequate portion sizes for the price. They bring out a variety of sides and rice with the dishes. The fried chicken dish was phenomenal so I would definitely recommend getting that dish. Service was good and they accommodated our party with 2 young kids. The ambiance is very casual but comfortable. I would return if in the Parma area again.

Ok - this place is legit amazing! The prices seem steep, but the quality and amount of food is SO worth it. We ordered an appetizer and two entreés, but definitely could've shared a main dish (but leftovers are such a bonus!) Don't expect a lot of ambiance - this place puts its heart into their delicious dishes. Seoul Garden is a must try!

Fantastic food and service as usual. Delicious banchan. Blazing hot galbi tang soup with lots of big chunks of fall off the bone meat. Spicy squid was in huge portion and had lots of squid and veggies. The eel is fantastic. Big portion, super sweet and fatty with teriyaki sauce.

This is a really good Korean food place in Cleveland. This was our first meal in Cleveland and it started out great. I love the seafood pancake and the fried chicken in sweet and sour sauce. It was pretty addicting taking every bite! The galbi ribs were delicious and well flavored! I highly recommend if you're in Cleveland!

Food much better than my last visit although service was slim. Poor fella running the show all by himself. Like literally running table to kitchen to table. The kimchi was just okay. The Costco kimchi is way better. But the pickled daikon and cucumbers were good. Very red but not spicy. I got grilled mackerel, salted well and came out on a sizzling platter. The waiter put a paper towel on top and said not to touch it for 3 minutes. Few small bones so be careful. Big fan of the beef teriyaki, almost tasted like Korean bbq with slices of steak. Oh bummer they forgot our dumplings too. But we were plenty full by the end

Everything is incredible here! If you haven't been to Seoul Garden yet, please go give them a try! There's something so comforting about a hot bowl of jiggae on a cold day. Or a HUGE plate of japchae. Would highly recommend getting the bulgogi or galbi. I think I had an out of body experience when I had the galbi, it just HIT THE SPOT. So tender, so flavorful. Added bonus, you also get a few banchan sides, which you can see pics of. The place has lot parking so there's no worry about finding parking unless it is packed. They can accommodate larger groups but would recommend calling ahead to see how busy they are. It would be easy to get a few dishes to split. I've only gone for dinner but they do offer lunch as well.

It's been a while since I've gone to Seoul Garden. Last time I came, I noticed the prices have hiked drastically. Unfortunately, this time was no different.. The food was good, but I wouldn't say that anything was amazing. The galbi in particular was extremely chewy and I am not sure how one actually eats it. It was definitely not overcooked as it was still semi red inside, but it was very difficult to chew without swallowing whole. The seafood pancake was okay as well. Barely any seafood, which didn't leave a good impression. Overall, for the price we paid, we didn't walk out stuffed or feeling satisfied when we craved for Korean food that night.

Ordered the 12 piece tteokbokki, soondubu jjigae with kimchi added, kanpungi fried chicken. $66.80 It's quite loud and animated inside here. The fried chicken isn't what we were expecting at all. Looks like an unexpected fried chicken dish smothered in sweet sauce. Neither of us is fond of it at all and had instant buyer's remorse. The steamed egg isn't so good, quite flat, not very fluffy and not super flavorful. The banchans: fish cake, seaweed, bean sprouts, radish kimchi, kimchi and cucumber kimchi. The radish kimchi is the better of all of the banchans to me. The tteokbokki has long scored pieces, nice and chewy and not overcooked. The sauce is a bit odd and sweet, can't pinpoint the seasoning that's a bit off putting to me though. The rice cakes are nicely cooked and it's different to get the longer pieces here. Only one piece that wasn't quite cooked enough. The tofu soup tastes good, just has a ton of white onions in it, took maybe half of what was in the soup out. The tteokbokki and tofu soup were average. Service was good here at least.

To start, the food was phenomenal. I just gotten back from my month long Korea trip and missed a tasty Korean meal, consequently, my cousin had recommended this spot to me as it is a locals special. The first bite brought me straight back to the streets of Seoul, with its authentic rich flavors and amazing selection, I would highly recommend this to anyone in the area, or those willing to drive a little bit from Cleveland. Secondly, the service was mediocre. Unfortunately, they seemed to have one staff member working the entire restaurant, from seating tables, taking orders, refilling waters, bringing the food out, and taking our dishes, this one worker was putting in the extra effort. Overall, Seoul Garden was a 4/5! The only thing holding them back from being that golden gem was unfortunately the poor service, it appears to be due to understaffing. (I got the Kimchi Stew it was delicious!)

A very good experience. The food was delicious and served quickly. The environment was very clean, and the service was excellent.

We had been looking for a Korean restaurant for awhile and this one hit the spot! We love hot pot and went for the meat hot pot consisting of spam, hot dogs, veggies, and noodles. It was VERY spicy, but if you like spicy I say try it! We were definitely sweating a bit. Worth it! They gave us multiple rounds of sides which we love to eat during our meal and with different ingredients in the hot pot. Also, who doesn't love SOJU! They had multiple flavors to choose from. We will definitely be back!

Ask the Community - Seoul Garden

Do you have ja jang myun?

Unfortunately they do not offer Jajangmyeon as it is considered a Chinese Korean dish not Korean. The Chinese immigrants in Incheon, Korea Chinatown made up this dish as I understand it. It is a variation of a Chinese noodle dish suited to the taste…

What's the yellow liquid they serve?

I think you are talking about the Barley Tea that they serve with the meals. It is a Korean mild tea with a slightly nutty flavor.

I eat meat but my wife doesn't. Will she have seafood options for Korean BBQ?

A few seafood options but not many

Does anyone know what kind of cold tea they serve there? It was in a plastic pitcher and I forgot to ask the hostess.

It is barley water. It can come cold or hot.

Do they sell alcohol? If not, is it BYOB?

    Yes, they have beer.

I came here on a Thursday night and it's closed? Does Yelp have wrong hours?

The hours are right. Might have been closed for a Asian Holiday.

Is this place open? Called but no pick up.

    It's open!

How can i make a reservation for 3?

I walked in but you can call them at 216-661-5990

It's about $32 per person for either all you can eat hot pot or Korean bbq or an extra $5 for both. We had about an hour and a half wait on a Saturday night. I loved the sauce bar and how well stocked it was. You order your veggies and meats on an iPad and they bring it out pretty quickly which is nice. I had the Szechuan spicy broth and it was so good and flavorful, my husband had the Thai tom yum which was also really good. We thought all of the meats and veggies we ordered were really good and fresh. They also have a selection of ice cream cups to grab to end your meal. We will definitely be back!

KPOT is located near the Main entrance to the mall, but you have to enter from the parking lot, there is no direct access into the mall. Once inside there is a bar area and hostess stand. Decor is Asian modern, clean and sleek, but a bit understated. I was seated in a smaller table near the front and quickly greeted by my server who explained how the restaurant works. You have the choice of Hot Pot or Korean BBQ, although you can do both for an additional $5. You order what you want on a small tablet and the food is delivered to the table. I went for the BBQ since the hot pot option did not include shrimp at lunch time. As a pescetarian I ordered the garlic shrimp, spicy fish, spicy squid and mussels along with vegies including eggplant, onion, mushrooms and sweet potatoes along with white rice. While waiting for the food to come out and the grill to heat up I went to the sauce bar up front to get a couple of dipping sauces along with some seaweed salad and kimchi. When the food came out the seafood portions were generous and there were plenty of vegies. There is a general guide to how long you want to cook the items, although I found that most of the food took a bit of extra time. I generally would grill a couple of proteins and vegies at a time, eat them when they were done and then start again, which made for a nice leisurely meal. My favorites were the shrimp and the two different kinds of mushrooms along with the dipping sauces and the sides. The squid was good, but were a bit difficult because they were larger pieces, I should have used the scissors to cut them into smaller pieces to make the cooking easier. The spicy fish was also very good. The large mussels took a bit of time to cook and I finally figured out that turning them over with the shell on top worked better. The vegies took quite a bit of time to cook, especially the eggplant and sweet potatoes. Since it was AYCE I did get a second order of the garlic shrimp and an order of the sesame balls for dessert. KPOT offers AYCE with good quality and even though the seafood selection is a bit limited at lunchtime, since you can reorder what you want there is plenty of food. The grilling at the table can be a bit challenging, but is fun and makes sure you always have fresh and hot food. I do like the sauce and sides bar which allows you to add some extra flavors and variety. The decor is good, but nothing exciting. Service is good

Because of that experience, we came in with high expectations and were really excited. At first, I liked this restaurant for its cleanliness and cute decor. The overall ambiance gave a very pleasant first impression. However, my experience today was quite disappointing. I was not satisfied with the service or the food quality. When the server brought us to our table, she seated us at the front near the entrance by the snack corner. We asked if we could move to a table in the back, but she told us those tables were for non-bbq guests. We were okay with that and stayed. However, shortly after, we saw other parties being seated in the back and eating KBBQ. That felt inconsistent and honestly disappointing. We ordered the yookhwe (beef tartare) bibimbap ($20.95), the Korean beef BBQ combo for two ($119.99), prime rib ($44.95), and makgeolli. Honestly, the portions were lot smaller than I expected for the price. Brisket only came with 6 thick pieces and galbi came with 9 to 12 pieces depending on how you cut them. The last straw was just seeing 10 small pieces of prime rib. As for the taste, it was decent but not the best. The banchan, doenjang jjigae, and steamed egg were good, but the beef was tough and hard to chew. The sauce on the marinated galbi actually hardened like candy after grilling and stuck to my teeth and the plate. We cooked most of our meat ourselves, which we didn't mind, but it seemed like our server was busy with other tables. Overall, I was disappointed and probably won't be back. If you've never had KBBQ, it might still be worth (?) a try considering for the authentic experience, but I don't think the service, portions or quality make it worth the price.

The food is fantastic and is family-restaurant style. While it might not be super flashy and trendy, it doesn't need to be. The food speaks for itself! You cannot go wrong with any dish on the menu, to be honest. While I have a seafood allergy, our many friends and family members that have tried a larger section of the menu have raved about it! My favorites are the japchae and the dol sot bibimbop. I like to add a good helping of gochujang to mine, and I also add some ssamjang to add a little extra to it (sometimes they'll bring out lettuce for some ssam as well!). My husband has tried many of the dishes, but his absolute favorite is the jjajangmyeon. Our toddler enjoys the bits and pieces from our various meals, and also likes the kimbap (she's still figuring out how to eat the seaweed wrapper, but does good work with the interior filling). I will admit that we have not done the KBBQ at Miega, but we've seen the bbq tables filled regularly and the food looks amazing! The staff members are incredibly friendly and kind, and our toddler loves seeing and interacting with them. They are very baby friendly and welcoming! Miega is one of our favorite restaurants and we try to tell everyone about it when they are looking for something new to try. If you haven't done this before the food comes out raw and you cook it yourself at the table either on the grill in the center of the table or in the boiling pot in front of you. Cooking the food can have a bit of a learning curve and different food can be easier or harder to get right, but even so most of the food comes out great. Previous review: I finally got to try One Pot for a Friday lunch and boy did I enjoy myself. One Pot is located in Coventry Village in a free standing building next to the parking garage. From the outside One Pot looks upscale and conservative, that changes as soon as you walk in the door, the front alcove has a giant silver spaceman and multicolor bears plus plenty of chrome. Inside you get even more of the Pop art bears along with other great décor touches; this would be a great stop before or after going to the Murakami exhibit at the Art Museum. One Pot offers a choice of either all you can eat Korean BBQ or Hot Pot. The menu is clear and allows you to choose what you want with pictures to assist. I choose the BBQ even though I was a bit limited with only the fish, seafood and vegetables. The tables are all set up with receptacles for the hot pots in front of each seat and a grill in the middle of the table. Ordering was easy and they also have QR codes that allow you to order directly on your phone. The food comes out incredibly quickly, of course no cooking is necessary to slow things down. The grill on my table took a bit of time to get heated up, but once it did I was ready to go. The actual cooking is fun and easy, you place your food on the grill, keep an eye on it, flip it over and when ready you take it off and eat the fresh, hot food. I stuck mainly to the proteins: garlic shrimp, giant shrimp, spicy calamari, spicy fish and mussels. I did also get some eggplant, oyster mushrooms, sweet potato and white rice. There are a couple of little buffets with sauces, toppings, kim chi and some daikon and jalapenos. I went through quite a bit of shrimp, calamari and fish all of which were great. Among the best were the garlic shrimp, the spicy calamari, the jumbo shrimp, eggplant and mushroom. A couple of things to note, the giant shrimp were excellent, but they do come still in the shell and with the head on, not a big deal for me, but some people could be grossed out; I could not get the sweet potato to cook properly on the grill, just a bit disappointing. As a Korean place I was also a bit disappointed that the banchan (side dish) selection was so limited, but that is just nit picking. I do have to shout out the service, it was attentive and helpful, without being rushed. One Pot is a great experience and it is great to go to an AYCE place and have delicious high-quality food yet still not feeling overstuffed. The décor is outstanding, the menu is clear and concise. Despite the grills in the table I never felt overheated or had any issue with smoke from the food cooking. Really well thought out all the way around. While not inexpensive One Pot is a good value for what you get. I will be going back both to try the hot pot selection and to do the Korean BBQ again. This is your place on the East Side if you want some great Korean BBQ or just feel like protein loading. Get yourself to Coventry and enjoy.

We came back this past weekend at my son's request, and honestly, that was a great call by him…read more Place was clearly busy when we walked in, but nothing felt chaotic. Things were moving, service was on point. Food showed up and just delivered across the board. Fresh, packed with flavor, and you can tell someone actually cares about what's coming out of that kitchen. My sons were was all in. That pretty much says it all. We were barely in the car before we started talking about the next visit.

This place was recommended to me by a friend so of course I had to check it out! I met my sister…read morehere on a Monday evening and we were seated right away. The building is very nondescript from the outside and shares a parking lot with an Elks lodge...I actually passed it the first time and had to go around the block so just a heads up! They have menus on the table and several choices with Korean names and descriptions, with the option to customize the spice level and make several items vegetarian. We split the kimchi pancake, my sister order the kimchi ramen, and I opted for the Japchaebob (vegetarian, and upping the spice level to medium). Everything was excellent! The kimchi pancake had great texture and flavor and the sauce that was brought out with it was tasty as well. The kimchi ramen (my sister got it mild, as she doesn't like much spice) was flavorful and filling. The Japchaebob (clear noodles with various vegetables) was SO GOOD...I devoured the whole plate. Service was a bit slow (we had to flag them down eventually to get more water) and they forgot to bring the rice seaweed roll we ordered but it ended up being plenty of food without it. I would go back for sure - I want to try the green onion pancake and the rice seaweed roll and definitely wouldn't mind getting the Japchaebob again ;) Thank you, Seoul Garden!
