I absolutely recommend dining at new-ish "Quintaesencia" in Parma, Ohio if you like upscale Latin American cuisine, good vibes, and great service. Quintaesencia was great to work with in June 2026 at accommodating our large group of 21 women, providing is with ample space, a dedicated server, and even making separate checks for all of us. To the surprise of no one, I love South American food. Okay, I like most ethnic cuisines, if not all, but I really love foods like arepas, chimmichuri steak, asado, empanadas, etc! I looked at the menu ahead of time and settled on some faves of mine, arepas and yucca fries, but others in the group ordered a variety of dishes amd drinks, all of which were delicious! I stuck with water as my beverage because the cocktails/mocktails were a bit too pricey for me. I ordered the trio arepas ($18) and a side order of yucca fries ($5), which were very filling and sprinkled with cheese. I liked my meal a lot although I would like to see a few more types of arepas offered on the menu. Our server, Valeria, was absolutely amazing and served our party of 21 women quickly and efficiently. There was a 3% card usage fee as well as an automatic 20% gratiuiy for parties of 6 or more, so after paying with card, my total bill was $30.54. We ordered some fried plantains topped with various meats and a loaded fries. The loaded fries were my favorite thing I had that night! Who would have known a fine dining restaurant exists in Parma? Growing up here, I haven't seen too many ethic restaurants and through the past 5-10 years, they are slowly popping up. Our Quintaesencia experience was amazing! Our service by Sonia was delightful and she was the definition of great customer service. Being it our first time, she suggested a few popular dishes and we ordered the Empanadas Colombianas, Lomo de Cerdo, Churrasco con Chimichurri, and Passion Fruit juices to go along with our food. Let me tell ya, the dishes were honestly all cooked to perfection and tasted SOO GOOD! The Empanadas came out pipping hot and the meat (beef and chicken) were filled with flavor. The Lomo de Cerdo (pork chop) was super tender and the sweet glaze was a perfect pair with the meat and the mashed potatoes. The Churrasco con Chimichurri (steak) was cooked right to medium and was very juicy and tender. So good that I didn't really want to share haha. The dishes are a little more on the expensive side, but I think it is well worth it! Can't wait to come back to try other dishes. read more

This tapas bar has been open for a year or two now, but I recently only started visiting after a work event. I came back for the full menu before I left this review. i went here last night for dinner and everything was so delicious! the staff was very friendly and helpful with questions i had. i ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and while they were good, i wish they were a little more tender. i got the grilled chicken entree and it was so delicious, just wish i had more than 4 potatoes lol. the lemon dessert was so good! not too tart like a lot of lemon desserts can be. i will definitely come back as i live in parma. cute spot for a date night. i liked the music and the decor. the patio is fabulous! read more

This place is a fantastic Parma gem! The food was so tasty, clearly very fresh and hot upon arrival. Also I have to note that the steak (which we ordered medium rare) was cooked to perfection! The tapas style menu is perfect for sharing. My husband and I shared three dishes and were satisfied: 10/10 on presentation, 10/10 on flavor and 9/10 on our "fullness" after our meal. I feel like this place would be even better with a small group of friends where everyone could order 1-2 tapas plates and then share amongst the group. I can't wait to go back and taste more dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant was quaint, clean and inviting. For a new restaurant, I didn't get that "empty" or "unfinished" vibe that I often get with the decor in a brand new space. The service was excellent as well. The young boy at the host stand was eager to greet us with a smile and was very polite. The server was also very friendly, informative and prompt. She was friendly and made everything so seamlessly easy and comfortable. We shared plates of fish tacos, grilled octopus and empanadas. WOW.
