Masala Monsoon is a GORGEOUS, upscale Indian restaurant that opened only a year ago in Parma, Ohio. Seriously, check out the other reviews on here - so many people mention just how pretty the interior is. I came with a large group- 11 other women from a foodie women's group I am a part of - for a birthday celebration in August 2026. We made reservations in advance and didn't have any trouble finding availability for that day and time. The interior is very large and there is lots of seating. We had a designated server who took our orders and waited on us and he was very friendly! I didn't buy a drink but I tried a friend's mango lassi which was so creamy and rich! I thought about getting myself a masala chai but was too cheap to. I ordered myself a basket of tandoori roti which was glazed with butter ($4) to start off with. Others at my table ordered appetizers as well, including someone who bought a flight of pani puri. This flight made for great pictures! For my main, I got the Pubjabi chicken dish, medium spice, which came with a side of basmati rice ($20). Everyone who tried sone of my dish loved it, as did I! I was very happy with my choice. I also had enough for leftovers, although granted, I was filled up on roti bread. To our surprise, our waiter surprised us all with two servings of their signature Indian dessert, gulab jamon, for a complimentary birthday treat! I love gulab jamon, which are small honey balls of spongey cake, and have had them many times before. The gratuity was included automatically due to the size of our party. My check came out to about $32, which is not bad for how good the food and the service was! I highly recommend dining here for yourself. There's plenty of room for large parties! read more

Visited Masala Monsoon with my daughter for dinner. I've been wanting to visit here for a long time. I love Indian food. I love Indian fusion food even more. This place serves up some tasty fusion vittles. We requested two different lassis - the mango and the sweet. They were both very tasty. We were also given water. For dinner, we requested tandoori chicken pizza, Amritsari fish fry, and hariyali kabob. A little while later, the food arrived. It looked really appetizing. The hariyali kabobs had an incredible flavor and the fruity, spicy sauce was delicious. Loved those. The fish fry was tasty and also came with a yummy sauce. The pizza had a great flavor as well and I really liked it. I would like to try other pizzas and other dishes. We'll definitely be back because this place has a menu worth exploring. Yum! Once a year, bestie and I leave Columbus and travel to a fabulous Indian restaurant in a far off land. This year's birthday outing took us to northern shores, thundering waterfalls and Masala Monsoon! We arrived hungry after hiking at CVNP. Very strikingly pretty decor! We loved the free crunchy snacks and fresh mint chutney. We started with the Lasuni Gobi appetizer, a fried cauliflower in chili sauce that rocked both our worlds. We wanted to try the Velvet Broccoli, another vegetarian dish, but alas it somehow came contaminated with chicken. Thankfully, the staff rectified the situation and we got a second order of the incredible Lasuni Gobi instead. I had a new-to-me curry, the Lababdar paneer, which was utterly delicious and perfectly spiced. We shared the bread basket and bestie had a mild veggie curry. My friend and I decided to try out the new Indian restaurant, Masala Monsoon in Parma, and I'm so glad we did! I've never had Indian food before, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect or what to order--but everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant is very welcoming and fun, making it a great spot to try something new. For appetizers, we had Lasuni Gobi, which is crispy cauliflower tossed in a garlic chili sauce with bold Indo-Chinese flavors. It was really tasty, though definitely on the spicier side. We also tried the Vegetable Samosa, the crispy pastry with spiced potatoes was really interesting burst of flavor. For our main meal, we went with Chicken Tikka Masala, which was grilled chicken in a creamy tomato sauce with aromatic Indian spices. Paired with Garlic Naan and served with a side of rice, it was absolutely comforting and flavorful. Everything we tried was fantastic, and the staff were welcoming and helpful, especially since it was my first time trying Indian cuisine. I was in town visiting some friends and heard this place was newly and highly recommended. Although it's Indian fusion it style has many of the classically prepared dishes and some fusion offerings like the pizza and certain appetizers (pani puri shots and beet chop). Staff was also friendly, inside decor is modern Indian with some areas giving a Instagram worthy backdrop. But I was there for the food; it was enjoyable and unique. Price point. Felt a little high with serving size on the smaller end. Nonetheless food was good and I would come back here. The foods are all prepared fresh and the chutney even has a freshly made taste. Bread basket is not on the menu but can be ordered if asked. Beet chop comes with 4 pieces and a mango chutney that puréed. Samosa Pizza was different than any other Indian fusion pizzas , I've had elsewhere and is very filling. Paneer tikka was good but barely had a diced capsicum here or there. read more

A great new restaurant in the Shoppes at Parma! When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the friendly stuff and pleased by the pretty decor. For lunch, I ordered crab soup ($10) and lamb korma ($20) with mild spice. Both were delicious! The soup came with a few pieces of crab, and it was rich and flavorful - it kind of reminded me of lobster bisque. The lamb korma was also fantastic. The curry was creamy and had a nice subtle sweetness. It was served with a bowl of white rice, which was great when soaked in the curry. This was our first visit to Masala Monsoon at Parmatown where Antonio's restaurant was. The decor and ambiance was Elegant with white table cloths and linen napkins. The service was Excellent with food served quickly and perfectly prepared. Been there several times and in my opinion, the BEST Indian cuisine in Northeast Ohio!

We had made reservations for a Saturday night for 9 including 2 kids to celebrate a friend's birthday and were seated in less than 5mins since our arrival. We ordered a round of Guava shots for everyone that came in a cute decorative wheel cart, I ordered a Green Mango Rush for myself and husband ordered a Lychee Breeze Martini - I loved the taste of mine, it had a sweet and sour finish to it with a rim of spice and salt, lychee martini was decent but we've had better. For appetizers we ordered a bunch of stuff including the Chicken Tandoori, Amritsari Fish Fry, and chilli chicken - that was one of the best chicken tandoori and fish fry I've had this side of the world, the chilli chicken was ok cos I've had better. For mains we ordered a Rajasthani Red Flame, Chicken Chettinad and Dal Makhni with some bread baskets to share - loved them all. The lamb in Rajasthani Red flame was soft succulent and the flavours were perfect. The Chicken Chettinad was not too spicy which is good, the warm flavours of the South Indian spices and curry leaves was delectable. However, the Dal makhni could've been better it wasn't half bad it's just I've had better dal makhni in Cleveland. We ordered some butter chicken pasta, malai chicken and cheese naans for the kids who absolutely loved it. We did not expect the butter chicken pasta to be so scrumptious, the adults loved it equally. Except for a couple of things like the chilli chicken or the dal makhni the rest of the food and experience was finger licking good. We've had hit and misses with Indian food outside of the country but Masala Monsoon is definitely a hit, looking forward to being back and enjoying some more. The decor is pretty cute with artificial flowers adorning the ceiling and an Instagram background for our pictures. The service was pretty decent, it was a busy day and they were backed up on orders but the staff and chef were kind enough to ensure the kids food arrived quickly while the appetisers kept us ruminating while the mains arrived. The staff is pretty polite and helpful, since we had brought in cake to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we're a large group, they accommodated us and even joined us in the celebration. It was a wonderful experience being here and I am looking forward to being back and enjoy some more of that scrumptious food especially the Tandoori chicken, Amritsari Fish fry and Rajasthani Red flame. read more

I went here after my graduation, and I had a very big party. The food was yummy. It was hot, fresh, and spicy.. my favorite. The service was exceptional as well. The workers are kind and understanding, and are able to accommodate you if you have any allergies, or food restrictions, such as being vegan. The place looks lovely as well! I went to Masala Monsoon with my boyfriend who has never really had Indian food and we had a great experience. Being half-Indian, I've grown up around Indian food so I knew what to order based on what I liked and what I thought he would like as a first timer. Walking in, there are flowers everywhere which wasn't what I was expecting but it was really beautiful inside. I loved the way they decorated the place. They even had a wall of flowers with a lit up neon "Masala Monsoon" sign that you could take pictures with. We ended up ordering mango lassis which were really yummy, I just wished they were a bit bigger. For our appetizer, we ordered samosas which as always, were delicious. For our entrees we ordered chicken tikka masala (my favorite) with a side of garlic naan and rice. Something that is really unique about their menu is that they offer Indian style pastas and pizzas. My boyfriend and I also shared their butter chicken pasta which was to die for. That dish was the perfect way to ease him into Indian food without overwhelming him. The service was also great. I don't know how I've been alive for 36.5 years and hadn't tried samosa pizza before now. I kept saying aloud, "every bite just gets better and better." There are a lot of great Indian restaurants in the Cleveland area, and even just Parma. This now ranks as my favorite. On top of that, the vibes and ambience are very chill. Great decor. We enjoyed lunch here today. And by enjoyed, we mean we loved it, every bite. Started with rosemary naan bread and then added the garlic cilantro naan. Both were fresh, light, and seasoned well. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh (1st time trying), vegetable Biryani, and a side of mango chutney which packed some surprising heat, but didn't overpower. Each dish has incredible depth and layers of flavor showing some serious skill from the kitchen, thank you! We ordered our dishes as "mild" and it was just enough spice/heat. But it didn't burn, it elevated the flavors. As good as the food was, our server, Jidan was always there when we needed him and also super friendly, made us feel welcome. Thank you! Although I was mis-informed that there was actually a buffet here, and I was excited to learn all the Indian cuisines in one spot, we took my nephew there last Sunday for his birthday and they did above and beyond! We ordered many different entrées and all of them were very tasty. The Portions sizes perfect to share. The fact that Antonio's as the previous tenant, left their pizza ovens in place and this Indian restaurant took advantage of the fact that they were there and came up with their own pizza. It was the best tasting pizza I've ever had and trumped American style pizza. The spices were out of this world. I had goat biryani, which was super tasty. Our server was very sweet and kind and informative. There is elegant atmosphere in here a perfect place for a family dinner or date night or just a bite to eat with amazing flavors of the world. The drinks are all tasty and made with care! We will definitely be back here. You should try and stop in when you can. They're open seven days a week! 10/10 recommend! The aroma of the delicious food cooking hits you right in the face as soon as you step in the door. The dining space was very clean, light, and welcoming. The service was fantastic and the food even better. The flavors in everything we ate were so fresh and full-bodied. We ordered Hariyali Kebab (spinach and cheese patties) as an appetizer; I'm not going to lie, I wasn't so sure it was something that I would be into, but wow. The spices and herbs in what sounds like a very simple dish just took it to the next level. And then it was served with a savory but sweet mango sauce/chutney that complemented it perfectly. Absolutely delicious in flavor and texture. For entrées, we ordered Rajasthani Red Flame and Kadai Chicken with sides of garlic and plain naan. The lamb and chicken in the dishes was extremely tender, the sauces were full of flavor and everything was served hot and in a timely manner. My dish (which I asked to be medium spicy or a "6 out of 10") was the perfect amount of heat for me too. As someone who loves to try new Indian places, Masala Monsoon might be my new go-to. Absolutely disgraceful experience. We had a reservation and came on Valentine's Day, yet were treated like we were invisible. We waited 1 hour and our food never arrived. Meanwhile, white people seated after us at the next table were fully served and finished their food. We weren't even given water. As we were leaving, the food that they brought to our table was cold and stale. I wouldnt trust this place with food - I guarantee you will get sick. This wasn't just bad service--it felt discriminatory. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This place does not deserve anyone's time or money. read more
