Finally was able to try this place and it did not disappoint. It was easy to find and it was a bit busy but it didn't take long to order. From the first sip of the matcha to the first bite of the toast, everything tasted so good! I wish I lived closer so I could grab a matcha to start my day everyday
We absolutely love seeing Go Go Avocado at Uptown Famers Market it's the best way to start our morning! The girls always give great recommendations if you want to try something new or wanting to stick to your usual.
Everything was so good! Visited while in Arizona seeing a friend, and she brought me here after telling me the owner started at local markets. If you love avocado, you'll definitely love this spot. I tried the chorizo & egg toast and wow, the bread was toasted perfectly, the avocado tasted fresh, and the queso fresco brought everything together. I also ordered the iced matcha latte with oat milk and it was just right, loved it. The space is nice is clean with plenty of seating, plus there's a patio area if you prefer sitting outside. Parking was easy with a garage just behind. Definitely a spot I'd come back to.
What a great spontaneous trip to Go Go Avocado! Visited AZ from CA and this was the healthiest option near the PHX airport that also had the best looking matches on Yelp. It didn't disappoint! I ordered a chorizo bowl, bacon bowl, sliders and burrito for my family and everything was a hit! For such simple ingredients, each individual component was not only flavorful, but super filling. My dad isn't an avocado guy, so he initially wasn't excited about going here LOL, but ended up leaving with a happy belly. He even asked if we had one in CA! 10/10 would come again :)
I've been going to Go Go Avocado since they popped up with matcha drinks at the Uptown Farmer's Market! *Disclaimer - I am allergic to avocados (yikes, I know!) so I have no reference on any of their avocado toasts! I stopped in because I saw their TikToks about opening their first store front! I was super excited, so I carved out some time on my lunch break to grab one of their tasty matchas I love each time I go to Uptown FM! And it did not disappoint! I ordered their Iced Salted Vanilla Matcha Latte with Oat milk, and it was DELICIOUS! I loved it not because of the actual matcha itself but the salty-sweet syrup that was the majority of the taste profile was SO GOOD! I don't think the matcha was super strong or umami tasting, but the syrup made it very yummy. I'm already thinking of going back this week!
Try this place for the first time, and was very happy we did. All of the food is locally sourced, and it's so fresh and delicious. They've been at local farmers markets for a couple of years, and this is their first brick and mortar. The decor is very open and bright with wood tables, very high ceilings, and tall lush plants. There's a large community table near the coffee counter, and some shelves that sell local items like handmade soap. If you round the corner you'll see a pretty nook with velvet chairs and pink wallpaper. It's very pretty. There is seating both inside and outside. You order at the counter and are given a number so your food can be brought to your table. You do have to wait for your coffee order at the coffee counter. We ordered the iced latte, an elote protein bowl, and a chorizo and egg toast. Everything was so delicious. I love a good chorizo, and this was a really good chorizo. This place will definitely be on repeat for us. The food was so good and the atmosphere was really just perfect to sit and chat and have a coffee and eat that good food. Of course, as is common in downtown tempe, parking could possibly be an issue. We got lucky and found a spot right near the door on the street.

The Matcha was good, but definitely not very strong and tasted milky, but presentation was beautiful. For working from here, they don't have a ton of outlets, but they do have plenty of seating. When I went, they were playing music really well, so it was hard to focus. Overall, this place is very cute and I would come back, but it does have room for improvement as it is a brand new place!

Unfortunately, the WiFi is not set up yet so if you are planning on working/studying here I would wait a few weeks or call ahead to ask! Also the music was VERY loud so if you get easily distracted while working I would not recommend hanging out here. The drinks and toast were good but not great, especially for the price. I also wish they cut the toast in half so it would be easier to eat without all of the toppings falling off. The staff was all super friendly though!

There is no parking, just the street which was full when we went so we ended up parking in the Chili's parking lot across the street and walking over. It seems like this is what everyone was doing. The line was long and we had to wait awhile and basically standing outside of the door. The prices are extremely high for what you get. It was good but I don't think I would go back and spend what I spent on the little portions.

Overall had a relatively nice time here! I ordered a SF salted vanilla matcha w almond milk which was a solid 7.9/10. I can't say it was the best matcha ever, and for $8.50 it was a lil pricey. However- they use great ingredients so that makes it a little bit better. I came in on a 1 pm and it was packed, my friend and I got the last table open but it was kinda loud so I wouldn't choose this as a study spot. I can't speak to the food but it looks fire!! I'd return again to try one of their toasts or bowls :) read more

I saw Go Go Avocado all over TikTok, so I thought I'd give it a try--but honestly, it was a bit disappointing. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea. The place itself is nice--very spacious, clean, and the decor is cute. But the prices are pretty high, and it just didn't feel worth it. I don't mind paying more if the food and service match, but that wasn't the case here. The food was okay, nothing special. The matcha especially didn't stand out--there are definitely better spots for matcha. What really made the experience disappointing was the customer service. We ordered food and even bought some merchandise, but when we couldn't finish our food and asked for to-go containers, they said they didn't have any. Then we asked for a bag for the merch, and again, they said they didn't have one. The way they responded felt very short and not friendly at all. Love seeing a real underdog story win GoGo Avocado just opened their storefront in Tempe and you can really feel the community behind it. She started with a booth at markets and built it up into a full café because people genuinely loved the matcha and avocado toast situation The space is super cute with lots of coworking areas, reading corners, mirrors everywhere (girls girl approved ), and a deep avocado-toned color palette that ties everything together. The bookshelf walls were such a nice touch too. I got the cinnamon bun and it was HUGE. They warmed it up and it hit. Matcha was also just right, not too sweet, not too earthy. Only downside for me was no wifi which kinda sucks for a café setup like this, especially with all the coworking-style seating. Bathroom also needed a little love, it was a bit smelly and dirty, but honestly feels like an easy fix. Overall though, I'd definitely come back, especially if they add wifi read more

Ambience: 10/10 I'm not sure who is on aux but the playlist is always fire and still family friendly. The first time we went it was pretty loud but ever since- it seems the volume has dialed down. So many seating options as well and kind of a fast turnaround on tables too. Service: 10/10 we have been there about 4 times now and everyone has always been so kind. The owner herself runs the food to tables and greets people. She's super sweet. Food: 10/10 don't even get me started. The drinks are delicious. I personally love the vanilla latte with blue cloud. It's so yummy and creamy. the sunrise sliders were the first thing I got when I came. This place is amazing! My friend and I were visiting the city and drove by this place one night. We made plans to come for breakfast the next morning and it did NOT disappoint. I got the caprese toast on day 1. Don't judge us, but we came back before going to the airport on day 2. I got the elote that time. I have to admit, the caprese was better but both were delicious. I wish they had one of these in LA. If you're anywhere near ASU/Downtown Tempe, you HAVE to go!! OH! I also bought 2 of these little avocado coin purses. So DISAPPOINTED! As someone who is from out of state and anticipated to come check it out, it was definitely a let down. I'm a die hard matcha lover and have tried so many different matcha spots from all around and this by far is the worst on my list. Also, I asked for an extra scoop of matcha as well and the person i went with had the same pigment as mine and theirs was regular. If you really want to taste the matcha flavor and not feel like you're just drinking guava milk, this is NOT the place to go to! Not worth at all the $20 i spent!! read more

Oh me oh my!! this place was soooo good I wanted to start crying. My friends and I felt like we were levitating. It was everything we've been looking for in a breakfast spot. The food was amazing, literal perfection. We got the breakfast sliders and the breakfast burrito. so so good. We all got the seasonal brown sugar banana matcha and it was amazing as well. My friend loved her elote toast and cinnamon coffee, too. But it was pricey...46 for two toasts and two drinks. Given it's in a college town, I'd hope for a more affordable option. First time trying, as I was in the area. I am familiar with the location as it used to be Parlor Donuts. I get Parlor's vibe is not GO GO's vibe but I was a bit disappointed that they removed so much of the their gorgeous decor. Just a personal opinion. They were pretty busy on Juneteenth when I visited. Seating is ok, mostly 4 tops or bigger, best when it isn't killer hot as there is a patio. Park in the parking garage, it makes it really easy to get in. There is sign on the door, no outside food or drinks. I ended up going with the Elote toast, which was good. I think the flavor profile was moderate, not spicy. The bread was hard to cut with plastic utensils and it really is too large to pick up and eat with my hands. The pan it was on, was a bit too small and made cutting harder. They have some coffee drinks and matcha, I didn't try any. They sell Poppi soda as well and have tiny water cups that you fill yourself. Overall I am glad I tried it but not sure it is something I would return to since it isn't convenient to me. I know they started as a food truck/pop up. So I wish them all the best. read more
