Elote protein bowl and hazelnut iced coffee

I came here with my friend because she wanted to try it out. There is no parking, just the street which was full when we went so we ended up parking in the Chili's parking lot across the street and walking over. It seems like this is what everyone was doing. The line was long and we had to wait awhile and basically standing outside of the door. The prices are extremely high for what you get. It was good but I don't think I would go back and spend what I spent on the little portions.

I visited go go avocado in their first week. It got busy as I was there, but there was no line when I arrived. I got the avocado toast and their lavender Matcha with blue spirulina foam. The Matcha was good, but definitely not very strong and tasted milky, but presentation was beautiful. My toast was good, but it was very loaded and hard to eat because it's a large piece of toast not cut in half. It was also a little expensive. For working from here, they don't have a ton of outlets, but they do have plenty of seating. When I went, they were playing music really well, so it was hard to focus. Overall, this place is very cute and I would come back, but it does have room for improvement as it is a brand new place!

It is still in its soft opening phase so trying to be fair with the 4 stars. Love that it has plenty of seating and outlets available. The outdoor seating area is well shaded as well. Unfortunately, the WiFi is not set up yet so if you are planning on working/studying here I would wait a few weeks or call ahead to ask! Also the music was VERY loud so if you get easily distracted while working I would not recommend hanging out here. The drinks and toast were good but not great, especially for the price. I also wish they cut the toast in half so it would be easier to eat without all of the toppings falling off. The staff was all super friendly though!

Absolutely Amazing. The restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Tempe but still has a decent parking. The restaurant is big, very clean and welcoming. Avocado toast was 10 out of 10. Excellent customer service was excellent.

I saw Go Go Avocado all over TikTok, so I thought I'd give it a try--but honestly, it was a bit disappointing. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea. The place itself is nice--very spacious, clean, and the decor is cute. But the prices are pretty high, and it just didn't feel worth it. I don't mind paying more if the food and service match, but that wasn't the case here. The food was okay, nothing special. The matcha especially didn't stand out--there are definitely better spots for matcha. What really made the experience disappointing was the customer service. We ordered food and even bought some merchandise, but when we couldn't finish our food and asked for to-go containers, they said they didn't have any. Then we asked for a bag for the merch, and again, they said they didn't have one. The way they responded felt very short and not friendly at all. Overall, it just didn't live up to the hype for me.

Ambience: 10/10 I'm not sure who is on aux but the playlist is always fire and still family friendly. The first time we went it was pretty loud but ever since- it seems the volume has dialed down. So many seating options as well and kind of a fast turnaround on tables too. Service: 10/10 we have been there about 4 times now and everyone has always been so kind. The owner herself runs the food to tables and greets people. She's super sweet. Food: 10/10 don't even get me started. The drinks are delicious. I personally love the vanilla latte with blue cloud. It's so yummy and creamy. the sunrise sliders were the first thing I got when I came. I have never tried anything like it. it's so flavorful and filling. my second favorite is the chorizo burrito- oh myyy. best chorizo burrito I have had in a while, especially with the green sauce on the side and the homemade tortilla. It's perfection. My boyfriend and I love this spot.

Stopped by during soft opening which started today but I have tried them at the farmers market too. I love their avocado toasts and bowls. The strawberry matcha is also great. The place is really nice. I love the earthy decor and their merch is really cute. They have some new additions to their menu like banana bread, coffee and chai as well their OG toasts. I got the chorizo bowl and it was well portioned and tasty. You grab forks from the counter and food is served at your table. Service was very friendly. They don't have dedicated parking but there is metered parking and also a plaza across the street where you can park.

The ambiance was gorgeous, and the staff was welcoming! My avocado toast with chorizo and egg was phenomena!! The perfect balance of avo, chorizo, and cheese. My friend loved her elote toast and cinnamon coffee, too. But it was pricey...46 for two toasts and two drinks. Given it's in a college town, I'd hope for a more affordable option. Also, the patio needed TLC. Overall, fantastic flavors and vibe!!

This place is amazing! My friend and I were visiting the city and drove by this place one night. We made plans to come for breakfast the next morning and it did NOT disappoint. I got the caprese toast on day 1. Don't judge us, but we came back before going to the airport on day 2. I got the elote that time. I have to admit, the caprese was better but both were delicious. I wish they had one of these in LA. If you're anywhere near ASU/Downtown Tempe, you HAVE to go!! OH! I also bought 2 of these little avocado coin purses. I plan to use them as containers in my Montessori preschool classroom.

Been following Go Go Avocado since the Uptown Market days and it has been great to see the growth into this beautiful space. The restaurant has a clean, open layout with plenty of natural light and thoughtfully chosen accent colors that make the whole place feel welcoming and relaxed. The design balances modern and warm perfectly -- from the wood finishes to the greenery and the merchandise wall -- creating a space that feels both stylish and comfortable. The food absolutely delivers. Every dish is fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. The avocado toast combinations are creative, beautifully plated, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. You can tell there is real attention to detail in both presentation and taste. What stands out most is the consistency of the concept: great food, great atmosphere, and a space that invites people to stay and enjoy it. If you're in Tempe, stop by their location at 707 S Farmer Street and check it out. Keep up the great work -- this place is on track to become a true Tempe staple.

The pickled red onions are what make this item pop! Delicious! There was so much I couldn't even finish it in one setting! I will be thinking about this delicious avocado toast for a while. The chorizo was cooked perfect and not greasy! Yumm!

Go Go Was worth the wait! They offer clean organic food and home made matcha flavors. Don't skip out on the in house made pastries, the carrot cake and banana bread are addictive. Highly recommend the caprese or elote avocado toast, and the breakfast burritos as they make the tortillas on site. Just go! It's good!

    Chorizo avocado toast!
    Felizia Y.

Everything was amazing! Starting with the customer service, the drinks and food! We got the blueberry lavender match, the strawberry matcha, iced earl grey tea and the blue cloud espresso for drinks! For food we got the chorizo burrito, the chorizo avocado toast, and the banana and carrot cake loaf. Every was so fresh flavorful and delicious! We will definitely make the trip from Gilbert to come back!

Our group of 8 ended up here when another Tempe restaurant had a kitchen emergency and cancelled our reso an hour before dinner. Alter Ego was able to accommodate us, and we were glad they did. If you enter from the street side you'd never know you're in a hotel restaurant. It's got an upscale, classy vibe not usually seen in hotel dining. The waiter and bartender were attentive and knowledgeable. The menu wasn't huge but it was a great variety of options. Table had some salads, flatbreads, burgers and a round of butter cake desserts. Each was really, really good. Way more sophisticated plates than expected. Also had a bunch of craft cocktails, unique and well made. Sometimes the best experiences are unplanned. We walked in and were immediately greeted by... absolutely no one. There was what might have been a hostess stand, or possibly a modern art installation--I'm still not sure. After doing a full lap like we were casing the place for a heist, we confirmed: no hostess, no sign, no clues. Just vibes. Naturally, we migrated to the bar like confused NPCs waiting for a quest. Stood there. Made eye contact. Practiced our "we are clearly humans who would like to eat" stance. Nothing. Not even a nod. At this point, I was considering ordering invisibility cloaks since we were clearly already wearing them. Finally, we move to the front of the bar where someone acknowledges us and says, "Oh yeah, just go to the hostess stand... she'll be back." Ah yes--the elusive hostess. A mythical creature. So we return to the podium of mystery and wait. Eventually, an older woman appears (possibly summoned by our collective confusion) and seats us. Progress. We sit down. No water. No greeting. No "hey, glad you solved the puzzle and made it to Level 2." Just silence. About 7 minutes later, two guys get seated right next to us. Within 4 minutes, a server rushes over to them like they're VIPs at a Vegas club and takes their drink order... while we're sitting there like decorative furniture. At that point, we realized we weren't dining--we were extras in someone else's restaurant experience. So we left. To whoever manages this place: you might want to check the tape. Not even to fix things--just to appreciate the full cinematic masterpiece of how impressively this all unfolded. Honestly, it'd make a great training video titled "What If We Just Didn't?" Would I come back? Only if there's a leaderboard next time so I know how close I was to unlocking the "Order Coffee" achievement.

While the ambience is fairly simple, the overall experience is a positive one, especially once the food arrives. I ordered the lox and bagel and was impressed by how substantial the portion was. The lox was generously layered, with a large amount of arugula on top. The arugula appeared to be lightly dressed with olive oil, which added great flavor. While it did not fully align with my personal dietary preferences, it was well executed, and I would be happy to return to see if it can be adjusted. The dirty chai was another highlight in terms of flavor. It was well spiced and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Although it was described as very hot when delivered, it arrived closer to lukewarm, but the taste itself was enjoyable. Service was efficient and attentive. The check was dropped off relatively early, which initially felt a bit quick, but our server continued to check in on us throughout the meal, creating a balanced and courteous experience. The fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent, and everything we ordered was well prepared. Parking in the area can be challenging, though the nearby parking structure behind Pedalhaus makes it more manageable. Overall, this is a reliable brunch option with strong portions, thoughtful flavors, and enough positives to make it a place I would gladly return to.

Service was okay, though not especially attentive, as our water wasn't refilled. At the host stand there was some confusion when we arrived. She didnt realize we were standing there and then when my boyfriend asked a question about a menu item she didnt respond. They serve salads, bowls, sandwiches, all-day breakfast, protein shakes, fresh juices, and other healthy, fast-casual eats for dine-in or take-away. My kind of place! This is one of those spots that I'd frequent if I lived nearby (ChopShop, want to open in Northern California?!). I stumbled upon this spot after a little self-guided tour of ASU campus on a sleepy Sunday morning (everyone must have been asleep after the big football game the day before). I'd forgotten about this spot and it was such a happy surprise to find it again and to see that they survived the pandemic and are still thriving. First visit I ordered: -Cheat Day Wrap: scrambled egg, bacon, white cheddar, smashed avocado, tomato, brown rice (I ordered without rice), and turkey or ham (I skipped these too) *DELISH on a whole wheat wrap!!! Full of flavor and super easy to eat. This hearty breakfast sando fueled my active morning of hiking "A" Mountain (Hayden Butte Preserve) the running around the the IronMan course to spectate (30,000+ steps as a spectator!). We couldn't leave town without another trip. The shake was okay; it didn't blow me away. Considering that it has banana, pineapple, dates, etc., I was hoping it would melt in my mouth with a galaxy of flavor--darn, no such luck. But like I said, it was an okay drink that I think others might like. Now, as for the $3 pre-wrapped Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie? The first cookie they brought me was hard as a diamond. I asked if they could heat it up to soften it a bit like they do at Starbucks, but he said they can't? Wow, I didn't realize that heating a Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie was so complex that it can't be done by some places. Anyway, the minor good news was he brought me a different cookie that was soft enough to bend and break off a piece and chew without worrying about breaking a tooth. But the big question is, will I be back? Of course I will; the place has a plethora of healthy food which I like. And I'm sure when I order something other than a diamond-hard Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie, my experience will be somewhat better. This place does have a fantastic Wi-Fi. That's a plus.
