I had no idea it was so late... I was still having lunch. Lunch or dinner I had sushi and well worth the price. Now this is my sixth check in yelp states I am a duke. Gee I've been called many names but never a duke. Ginger and spicy cucumber with assorted sushi rolls. This very late lunch was delicious. I had a hot pot of tea and I tried a new cookie that was out standing I have to remind myself to keep trying new treats. This buffet has a lot of variety for food which is great. They have a sushi maker who makes fresh sushi in front of you as well as a hibachi area where you choose where you want. The atmosphere was amazing and I loved how they had ginger available to grab and other Chinese food that you usually won't find at a buffet like boneless rib tips. I didn't like the American food but it's a Chinese buffet so stick mainly to the Chinese food and you will have a great experience. read more

Before the pandemic, I came here several time with large groups of family (10+ people) and remember standing shoulder to shoulder in the waiting area. Boy, how times have changed. For what this place is, a Chinese buffet, it's definitely worth the money. Stay in your lane and don't veer off course. The Asian-themed (mostly Chinese-style) island is decent. You'll find some of your usual take-out items here and some more. Yeah, I know they have "global" in their name so you want and expect a good all-around buffet experience. Sorry. You'll be disappointed if you have such unrealistic expectations. Just remember how much you're paying. Red Baron microwave pizza is far better than the sad tomato cheese bread and Taco Bell will do laps around the unappetizing mess. This is a little out of my way but for the price we just had to stop by and try it. We came here on Sunday for buffet lunch around 1:00PM. It was not a lot of people yet and were seated right away. The staff was quick in taking our drink orders and serving it right after. (Soda is not included in the buffet price. It is placed at $2 per person which is still not bad since is free refills). There are quite a few selection of food. From appetizers to dessert. The food isn't too bad but it is much better when the food is fresh and hot. For our first serve at the buffet table most of the food were room temperature and it's like it's been sitting out there for a while. But as more people came and the food moved fast we were able to try the new batches which was much better. My favorite is the coconut shrimp and dumplings. The coconut shrimp was very flavorful and sweet. Best when just made! The shrimp is mixed with crab meat and squid. Not a big fan of crab meat but the squid was good. Dumplings were crisp on the bottom and tasty in the middle. It is good by itself and with dumpling sauce. Didn't try the sushi as some people said it wasn't that fresh. The hibachi station wasn't open at the time we went so I didn't get a chance to try it. They have a good selection of dessert but I wish they had Asian dessert. Was full from trying all the hot food that I wasn't able to try the dessert. However I did stuff in some watermelon! Had a taste of the ice cream and it taste like soft serve from the ice cream truck. Overall pretty good for the price. This is by far one of my family's go to buffet places to eat-in in NYC. It's clean and have gloves available if needed. Food option is good. Food is always hot! They even have a hibachi area where you can ask to make your own style/mix of food. Sushi area also has wide variety of selections. Only thing I'd say is that this establishment gets really packed so fast on the weekends especially during dinner so if you're planning to come out and eat choose a better time or you'll wait for a while. read more

This is a family favorite spot. Most Chinese buffets are half the variety and have given us stomach aches. Putting this much food out all at once and keeping it fresh both in the kitchen and in the dining area has to be an arduous task, but they nailed it. They didn't have to spend the money towards decor and ambience but they did and it's a relaxed atmosphere. I like hearing the piano music in the background. And we love the food! Even the salad bars have a multitude of choices. I buy gift certificates here during the holidays for family. It's pretty bad. The space is really spacious and everything looks pretty clean, as it is still quite new. That's about the high point of the whole place. The food selection for dinner was lacking. I'm not sure what gets added to the dinner to justify the price hike from lunch but it is not worth it. The food is looks bad and is bad. The bamboo shoot for the teppenyaki was off, I took a bite and spat it out because it had ruined the entire dish. The "fresh" steamer they brought out for shumai looked like the dumplings had been in there for two days. The staff was pretty nice (Although the server randomly placed a bottle of soy sauce that had been missing from our table for the entire meal when we were already eating dessert and ready to pay). With Chen's pretty much right across from the street with the same kind of food and much faster rotation rate (read: freshness) I really don't see the reason why you should go here at all. read more

Honestly, I am not a big fan of buffets but this one is very good. The place is super decorative and is quite large. Service was polite and quick. Now the food had its ups and downs. Waiters will stand next to you as you sign ur bill as to assure ur giving a good enough tip. This is extortion, and is the second time this has happened to me. I thought maybe I had a bad waiter, but no, multiple waiters stood by me and waited to see what would the tip be. After giving a 10% tip, we were told "the meal price does not include tip". Like I should have tipped more. These are disgusting actions and it's obvious it's how they are trained. Multiple waiters have done this and it's not the way to do business. Management, please reevaluate ur business model because ur obviously supporting this. Maybe pay ur waiters appropriately instead of having them harass customers for a tip. IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD Not only was some of the food sour (Mac and cheese, lo mein, etc even desserts) my sister saw multiple fruit flies flying on and around their cake. When we were leaving a waitress came out arguing for a man who found a roach in his soup for him to still pay for his wife and child who looked no older than 5 years old, although they food a roach in the soup. The woman and another waiter proceeded to follow the man to the car where the child and mother were and continued to harass them telling them they were not going anywhere and even tried to stand in front of the vehicle for them to pay for their roach infested meal. As all of this is happening the waitress is holding the soup with the roach in her hand. Multiple other servers came out and I decided to help the family that was being harassed and told them to let them go and that it makes no sense for you to make someone pay for food they found a roach in. This place was surprisingly good for a $15 dinner buffet! However there were a few things that brought it down to 4 star for us. To start, highlights. Teriyaki chicken, crab rangoon, spring rolls, coconut shrimp, and boneless spare ribs were really good! The hibachi, that's no extra charge, was also super awesome. You can pick whatever meat/veggies you want and they fry it up for you right there, as much as you want! It's honestly worth it just for the hibachi. Whatever you do, we don't recommend the sushi. It seems to sit out for awhile, and the pieces we tried were absolutely awful. I had to spit mine out. Some were completely frozen, and others were sour? Also some of the food was extremely salty, so much so that it felt like the only seasoning. Overall, solid 4/5. We'll probably come back again! read more

After agreeing to try this buffet after my husband and son were dying to go, I wasn't pleased. I had a feeling it wasn't going to go well. My son was so excited to try a buffet, so I tried to be positive about it. Even upon my first bite of food, my stomach started hurting. I tried eating a little bit more and felt so sick. Waiter Andy was rude & actually threatening when my husband (a senior citizen & Vietnam Veteran)unknowingly took fried shrimp meant for dinner only customers & we entered at 3 which was considered lunch. We never even knew there was a distinction & would have been fine with paying the dinner price but Andy was yelling & causing a scene. He even followed me when I went to advise the manager. The chicken was wet and soggy and often food was mixed in with others very unprofessional staff we were constantly yelled at and directed by a lady with a deeep base in her voice and before we left the establishment they had been sweeping water from the bathroom to the back door and had water all over the place worst experience I've had at a buffet so far not a wide variety of food options and the variety wasn't good it was crowded and it just felt very uncomfortable being there in general 10/10 would not recommend not to mention you don't eat for a kid if your 5ft or higher 10 or under I understand but under five ft is ridiculous read more

For 15 dollars this is an okay buffet. There aren't so many places you can get a large meal for that kind of money. So for a lot of people I bet this is wonderful. Having eaten at DJs Buffet by NCC on Stewart ave, this is a 0 star buffet. A family arrived at 9:30 and asked the host is the food fresh and the host went ' aaaahhhh, well get the hibachi.' You can say, well at least he was being honest. But is that ever really the reaction you want? You want the staff to assure you the food is good and that you're gonna have a good meal. If that's the guys reaction then shouldn't they be working hard to keep things fresh. You can say, well the people arrived so late, what do you expect? But there were definitely people still arriving at the hour on a Friday night. So they should be keeping the food fresh. They should have less things and focus on them being fresh and flavorful. And while yes the hibachi was the best thing I ate tonight, other than the crab Rangoon, it still wasn't fresh.
