Mostly questionable looking food. Not at all tasty. Not my cup of tea and I wouldn't recommend.

Once again I wrote an entire review that somehow did not process to Yelp. The short of the repeat here is that the place has been around for many years and is in the Tricounty shopping center on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. Todays visit with friends, I met a lovely young woman at the front, found plenty of seating, wait service for the basics and buffet large choice of foods to choose from. At 1 pm there were still a few breakfast bits in trays, sausage well cooked but french toast dry and over cooked in the heat tray and light. Yet the few pieces were there from breakfast. Hibachi still nice for a fresh dish. They don't have ducksauce but thats not enough to take away a star. There is plenty of parking .Note: Find a server who can answer your questions if need be. Note: Seniors -cost is different- (see menu pix) tips will be accepted, not included in price.

Good, not great. I found a lot of the food to be quite dry. The sushi was pretty good, so compliments to the hard working chefs there. The service was also good, everyone was very attentive. The bathrooms left much to be desired. Lot of graffiti in the stalls, not really kid appropriate. Can't say I would recommend.

    Happy vegan customer.

Being a vegan, I am happy eating here because there are many vegetables, salad items, and fruits to eat. Although the pureed sweet potatos have marshmellows amongst it, I carefully take spoonfuls from between the marshmellows. Some of the food is a little bit too salty. Also the spinach has cheese on it so I flip it over and scrape the spinach into my plate, trying to avoid the cheese. The place is decorated nicely, and looks clean. There are nice servers to clean up between courses. I am thinking 4.5 stars.

Came here for a family lunch and was surprised by the price of only $16 for lunch. The selection was decent with a mix of both western and Chinese food including a sushi bar, teppanyaki station, and hot food bars. I loaded my plate with pork chop, fried fish, lo mein, and veg. The food was decent but unfortunately not warm enough. I definitely think it would taste a whole lot better if the food was a bit hotter. The dessert selection was decent with an ice cream machine and cakes. Overall not bad for the price.

Went for a beach day in Long Island & my cousin really wanted to try this place, so off we went even though we have to drive thru long LI traffic for 40 minutes! The place is bigger than most chinese buffet spots, they also have a varied selection of food. The sushi bar has a good selection & looks fresh. The food at the buffet area are well presented & replenish fast. Our waitress is also attentive and refills our sodas & water as soon as we are low as well as collect our used dishes without us asking Not the best buffet ive been to but i can say the food is fresh & maybe lower in sodium than most all you can eat places i have been to. The place looks fancier than the usual buffet spots with chandelliers & clean bathrooms. The price is also reasonable. most likely we will go back if we are in the area and not on a rush hour!

I have been coming for years ever since it was the Country Buffet prior. I still miss the breakfast from the old name. I prefer this buffet over others because it seems to be less sodium It is always clean and the staff is friendly. Food seems to be in a good rotation to keep it fresh

a variety of food on display

We went at lunchtime, and the place was packed. That was a good thing. All the food was fresh and constantly replenished. Dessert choice was extensive as well. Stay away from what they are calling ice-cream. More like soft serve ice milk. Other than that, no complaints. Bussers were on point, removing empty plates when needed We'll be back.

Was it Breakfast? My daughter and I stopped into Global. It may have been before noon. My foodie daughter came back to our table with what sure looked like breakfast. Two eggs sunny side up and what looked like a large hash brown. 5 star.

We went at 1:30 and they did have a breakfast section . We ate lunch. I did have a breakfast sausage.

The dish was presented traditionally with the all the toppings. The duck sauce was also perfect. A beautiful dish that fulfilled the 3 categories of Chinese cooking: color, fragrance and taste. Our next favorite in presentation and taste is the pork belly with pumpkin. The presentation of the dish is eye popping. The pork belly is unmistakably cooked by a master chef. The texture is chewy (skin), soft (fat) and dense (meat). The sauce may look over the top, but it adds to the silkiness of the pieces. The "fat" is not greasy. It's puzzling how they rendered the grease. I grew up eating this dish and cook it too. This dish by far is the best I've had. Service is fantastic; helpful and attentive. This is our new favorite restaurant! Suggestion would be to eat at the restaurant for an incredible experience. Dishes came out is perfect order. Noodles on point, shrimp wonton soup excellent, and the shrimp with broccoli entree was pretty good too (albeit a little heavier than I anticipated). Our dissatisfaction came from the service. INCREDIBLY slow given the restaurant wasn't packed. It took an unacceptable amount of time from when we sat down to when our waiter even arrived, and even longer to get the complimentary noodles and tea. Even when we finally placed our order, it took over 30 minutes for a couple of appetizers and 4 entrees, one of which they got wrong... and what was probably most irritating is that the staff spent more time and attention cleaning a table that just finished eating, rather than attending to diners still in the restaurant. And it was after 8pm when they close at 9, it wasn't like another party was coming in for that table. I love this place man, but ya gotta be better.

When entering, on the right side there are lots of tables and booths surrounded by window cases full of pretty teapots. A clay warrior statue in the front and back stand guard. On the left side is a partially open kitchen and the takeout register. The extensive menu covers various basic Chinese and Japanese selections. We shared the shrimp and spinach wonton soup to start. The broth was wonton, the spinach wasn't as soft as expected due to its inclusion of the stems, and the shrimp was a negligible part of the dumpling it was wrapped in. My son enjoyed their chicken and broccoli as well as their steamed vegetable dumplings. My wife and I enjoyed their 6 steamed crystal shrimp dumplings appetizer. So far, so good, but the big disappointment came with the boneless ribs appetizer. The sauce was good, but the pork was barely edible because it tasted as if it had been pre-cooked, left to harden and dry, before being re-heated and served ... not fresh and way too chewy. I ordered it because another Yelper had recommended them, so maybe that dish isn't consistently what it should be? I had also been to Jani's about ten days earlier and it was much better. Me and the cousin I was with split the Lake Tung Ting Shrimp and Moo Shu Beef, so I can recommend both of those. On weekends, a reservation is a good idea.
