We were a party of 3 and had the Saturday dinner here. I had the stone crab, roast pork, chicken in a stick, lo mein, and vegetable fried rice. It was self-serve buffet style and all the food was reloaded as needed. Our group had a good experience here.

I've been to buffets before, but never won as large as this one. There was a very large variety of food that was all kept very hot and the pans were changed out regularly. Highly enjoyed the food that I had here. Staff was quick and getting refills and getting rid of your dirty dishes was a little bit pricey, but worth it for the variety of food that they had. Everything from sliced or beef, to pizza, to a large variety of Chinese food, to sushi as well as food that could be cooked to order. Very clean.

Mostly questionable looking food. Not at all tasty. Not my cup of tea and I wouldn't recommend.

Once again I wrote an entire review that somehow did not process to Yelp. The short of the repeat here is that the place has been around for many years and is in the Tricounty shopping center on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. Todays visit with friends, I met a lovely young woman at the front, found plenty of seating, wait service for the basics and buffet large choice of foods to choose from. At 1 pm there were still a few breakfast bits in trays, sausage well cooked but french toast dry and over cooked in the heat tray and light. Yet the few pieces were there from breakfast. Hibachi still nice for a fresh dish. They don't have ducksauce but thats not enough to take away a star. There is plenty of parking .Note: Find a server who can answer your questions if need be. Note: Seniors -cost is different- (see menu pix) tips will be accepted, not included in price.

Good, not great. I found a lot of the food to be quite dry. The sushi was pretty good, so compliments to the hard working chefs there. The service was also good, everyone was very attentive. The bathrooms left much to be desired. Lot of graffiti in the stalls, not really kid appropriate. Can't say I would recommend.

    Happy vegan customer.

Being a vegan, I am happy eating here because there are many vegetables, salad items, and fruits to eat. Although the pureed sweet potatos have marshmellows amongst it, I carefully take spoonfuls from between the marshmellows. Some of the food is a little bit too salty. Also the spinach has cheese on it so I flip it over and scrape the spinach into my plate, trying to avoid the cheese. The place is decorated nicely, and looks clean. There are nice servers to clean up between courses. I am thinking 4.5 stars.

Came here for a family lunch and was surprised by the price of only $16 for lunch. The selection was decent with a mix of both western and Chinese food including a sushi bar, teppanyaki station, and hot food bars. I loaded my plate with pork chop, fried fish, lo mein, and veg. The food was decent but unfortunately not warm enough. I definitely think it would taste a whole lot better if the food was a bit hotter. The dessert selection was decent with an ice cream machine and cakes. Overall not bad for the price.

Went for a beach day in Long Island & my cousin really wanted to try this place, so off we went even though we have to drive thru long LI traffic for 40 minutes! The place is bigger than most chinese buffet spots, they also have a varied selection of food. The sushi bar has a good selection & looks fresh. The food at the buffet area are well presented & replenish fast. Our waitress is also attentive and refills our sodas & water as soon as we are low as well as collect our used dishes without us asking Not the best buffet ive been to but i can say the food is fresh & maybe lower in sodium than most all you can eat places i have been to. The place looks fancier than the usual buffet spots with chandelliers & clean bathrooms. The price is also reasonable. most likely we will go back if we are in the area and not on a rush hour!

I have been coming for years ever since it was the Country Buffet prior. I still miss the breakfast from the old name. I prefer this buffet over others because it seems to be less sodium It is always clean and the staff is friendly. Food seems to be in a good rotation to keep it fresh

***INDO-CHINESE FLAVOR BOMB IN YOUR MOUTH*** ***SUPER…read moreFRIENDLY FAMILY-RUN RESTAURANT*** INDO-CHINESE? In the early 1800's a large number of Chinese citizens, immigrated to Calcutta, a city in the northern part of India, close to China. After becoming established, many of these immigrants started opening restaurants to support themselves. And then, because of a lack of certain ingredients, and to tailor the food to the palates of the Indian citizens, these Chinese chefs altered their recipes. And these new recipes, incorporated certain Indian spices, and a heavier use of spices and sauces - which made these new style dishes especially appealing - and created what is known today as Indo-Chinese, or Indian-style Chinese food. MASTER CHEF MIKE TENG Mike Teng, son of Hakka Chinese parents, was born and raised in India. He started cooking at 14, and eventually became a head chef preparing Indo-Chinese food in Mumbai. Then in 1984, he emigrated to the US and worked in the restaurant industry, until he became executive chef at the famous Jade Eatery & Lounge in Forrest Hills Queens. And it was here that he became notorious for his unique cuisine, and went on to receive numerous accolades. A DIFFERENT APPROACH After seven years of grueling work at Jade, Mike decided to take a break from the restaurant industry for a while. Then in 2019 he opened Teng's Restaurant, and set up operations in a way that would minimize work. As such, the restaurant would only open for dinner, between 4-11 PM, and there would be minimal table service. So let me explain how this works: You sit down at a table, and a friendly family member takes you order and helps with recommendations if necessary. And then you grab paper plates & cups, and plastic utensils from a shelf by the front counter. There's also a refrigerator here with drinks to choose from. And then the food is served to you at the table in take-out style containers. THE KEY TO ORDERING HERE There are a relatively large number of items on the menu, but most of the dishes can be broken down into a few different styles, such as Hakka Chili, Manchurian, Salt And Pepper, Orange, Szechuan, Basil, Kung Pao, and Ginger & Scallion. And the key to ordering here is to avoid choosing multiple dishes in the same style, as the meal & flavors can become one-note in nature. But if your vigilant, and pick some of the best items from each style, you will be rewarded with an Indo-Chinese flavor bomb in your mouth. FIRST TIME? GIVE THESE A SHOT So a few recommendations to try on a first visit, if you're able to enjoy spicy foods would be: - Hakka Chili Style Chicken or Beef - Salt and Pepper Style Fish Filets or Chicken - Orange Chicken or Kung Pao Chicken - Manchurian Style Fish or Chicken - General Tso's Chicken or Tofu - Ginger and Scallion Chicken - Szechuan Wontons or Momos - Orange Glazed Wings or Hakka Chili Wings - Basil Fried Rice - Hakka Noodles And here's a few vegetable recommendations: - Manchurian style Cauliflower or Salt and Pepper Cauliflower - Szechuan Potato or Potato with Black Bean Sauce - Spicy Stir Fried String Beans. - Mapo Tofu - Manchow Soup with or without meat YOU'RE PROBABLY GONNA LOVE THIS PLACE After many visits here with dozens of different people, I've noticed first-timers always react the same way when trying one of chef Teng's best dishes. Their eyes open wide, and the head starts slowly shaking side-to-side, and then I hear grunts of mmm! or wow! I mean really, it never fails to be a wonderful surprise for everyone. But don't get me wrong, not everything on the menu is a home run. For example, some of the Asian fusion dishes such as Pad Thai or Mango Chicken are just weird. So even though there are some things to overlook here, such as no lunch service, or the cafeteria style vibe, If you choose some of the chef's best dishes, for sure that flavor bomb is going to hit you right in the mouth, and you'll definitely be coming back here for more. I always do.

The wonton soup was decent......wontons were very good but the broth however was a bit bland. Roast pork fried rice was pretty good.....a little dry and skimpy on the pork but the flavor was more than adequate. Hot and sour soup was really tasty with a good bit of spice. Scallion bubble pancake was very light and tasty. The Emperor cabbage appetizer was probably my favorite meal item.....crispy cabbage tossed in a peanuty garlic sauce with honey. It was served cold (which usually I'm not a big fan of, but this was an exception) and had a great flavor. Pork belly appetizer tasted very good but it wasn't crispy (which would have made it so much better) and the buns they were served with didn't taste completely fresh. Dan Dan noodles with ground beef was excellent.... they're served spicy and you can simply request the level of heat you prefer to fit your taste buds. Soup dumplings were of decent size and quite juicy...... unfortunately they lacked some flavor. Mongolian beef dish was excellent as was the kung pao chicken. Overall it was a pretty good meal but there was some room for improvement. The staff was very nice and it did have quite a cool "old school American Chinese restaurant" vibe from yesteryear.

Noodles on point, shrimp wonton soup excellent, and the shrimp with broccoli entree was pretty good too (albeit a little heavier than I anticipated). Our dissatisfaction came from the service. Even when we finally placed our order, it took over 30 minutes for a couple of appetizers and 4 entrees, one of which they got wrong... and what was probably most irritating is that the staff spent more time and attention cleaning a table that just finished eating, rather than attending to diners still in the restaurant.
