Wait time after the baseball game was normal. About 45 minutes. First time to eat a deep dish pizza. I think this is the place to go! Sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms. 10/10 Crust was not overly soggy Lots of cheese and toppings Cheese pull was on point Sampler plate 8/10 Average sides Ambiance was relaxed and kid friendly Wait time for the pizza was 40 minutes. Pizza was hot and fresh Wait staff was friendly

The inside looks like a typical pizza parlor, very clean, and nicely laid out. The hostess was a bit curt, but I get it when she has a line forming around the whole block. Ordered the $10.99 lunch special: personal pepperoni deep dish pizza with the parmesean fries. The novelty of a Chicago style pizza is great, but the pizza itself (at least at this vendor) is rather normal. I also tasted the Margherita pizza and be prepared to eat a couple pounds of cheese. I'm currently holding the leftover Margherita pizza box and I'm getting a decent arm workout.

Giordanos was my first shot at deep dish pizza. I will go on the record saying I do not like deep dish pizza being a kid from Jersey. I grew up with thin crust Ny/Nj style pizza so deep dish just doesn't do it for me. But I do appreciate the style and culture of the Chicago iconic pizza. The cheese pull is epic and was very excited to this. I will say from consensus between Chicago folks that Giordanos is not going to be the go to spot when experiencing deep dish. To me it was a sloppy cheese mess. I know it is their claim to fame but the cheese is overkill. Waaayyyyyyy to much cheese, it just feels like it's throw on a plate with no effort. Ambiance and service was great though.

This is a solid spot for deep dish pizza! I went for the first time last week with my brother, who was visiting from out of town. He wanted to get deep dish during his time in Chicago and had wanted to try Giordano's. We both enjoyed our meal. I was not aware of how large Giordano's menu was! The options are nice in case you aren't in the mood for deep dish - you'll definitely find something else to enjoy! We split multiple appetizers and each got our own personal deep dish. It was a delicious meal! Our server was attentive, as well. I am very happy I tried a spot that I haven't gone to before in the neighborhood.

Very disappointed in the food. Not sure why this chain is so hype up. I feel fast food pizza chain is way better. All the food were underwhelming and taste like cafeteria food. Would not recommend.

Stopped in to try deep dish pizza. Told it would take 45 minutes to bake so we got the sampler appetizer. We got the Chicago classic pizza. Loved the freshness of the vegetables in it. We were able to walk in and be seated right away. Restaurant had a decent amount of seating. Our server was nice just wish she came by a little more throughout our meal to offer us refills or another drink.

We wanted a deep dish pizza. We spent the last seven years in California and I know California is not known for deep dish pizza, but Zachary's was pretty freakin' extraordinary. I am confident there are better options, but Giordano's was within walking distance from the hotel, so that's where we went. The Caesar Salad was tasty and fresh. For the pizza, we ordered a Make-Your-Own. In an attempt to recreate the pizza we love at Zachary's, we ordered a deep dish pizza with spinach and mushrooms. It looked beautiful. It tasted okay, but the overwhelming flavor was of the cheese. The pizza was very cheese heavy. You'd think a pizza with lots of cheese would be the bees knees. The problem was the chunky tomato topping, a very important part of a deep dish pizza, had very little flavor. It was disappointing. Convenient? Yes. Delicious? Not delicious enough.

I couldn't pass up trying out a local chain with famous deep dish pizza. The deep dish was cheesy, saucy, and filling, but there was something missing as it did not stand out in its flavor. The taste reminded me more of a standard pizza from other chains, but in Chicago deep dish form. Still, it was good with plenty leftover. The fried calamari and lemon rings starter was excellent. It paired so well with the marinara sauce, it's recommended. Good service. Expect about 45 minutes for the deep dish pizza to be ready. It's better to come after major plans due to the wait. Overall, it's a fair place and worth a try if visiting.

We celebrated our 30th birthday here! Taylor our server was amazing and made it a birthday to remember (a birthday card, drink and icecream). My favorite Taylor was Taylor swift but the Taylor at Giordanos on Belmont is now my favorite!!!! We LOVE Taylor at Giordanos. Thank you Taylor

I'm in town visiting an old friend . He lives right around the corner. We arrived late evening, so he got this to go and kept it warm in his oven. I'm a visitor, not a tourist. I hear they call this the tourist pizza. It was delicious and exactly as I remember it from several years ago. Best served with a friend and a cold beer!

Not bad, but doesn't stand out. Yes, I know I'm reviewing a chain - so to some extent it's not going to be anything out of this world. Giordano's gets the job done - no more, no less. It's definitely a good amount of food for your money, no one will argue that. But it doesn't leave you with that "wow" factor. It's just a deep dish pizza, with lots of sauce and cheese. With that said, I haven't tried the thin crust here and have heard that it's solid. So I'll probably return. If you need to choose a deep dish spot in Chicago and want something with some personality, hit up Lou's instead.

We came here before a Cubs game (the restaurant is within walking distance of Wrigley). We ordered the deep dish pizza, it took 45 minutes to bake (which is typical) and every bite was delicious. We ordered it half veggie and half classic pepperoni. The staff were friendly and kept us happy while we were there. Be sure to support this restaurant.

When you walk in, there's a nice-sized bar straight ahead, with tables on both the left and right sides. We picked our table and took a look at the menu, where I spotted the two things I wanted to try. Our waitress came over with a big smile on her face and took our drink order while my buddy was still deciding what to get. I went with the spicy cheese curds to start, followed by the chicken tenders, while my buddy ordered a burger. Since it was a school night for me, I was happy that the food came out pretty quickly. The portion of cheese curds was shockingly generous, and boy, did they pack a punch! If you like a little heat with your cheese curds, these are definitely worth trying. The chicken tenders were good, especially dipped in the chipotle ranch sauce. I ordered mine naked, without any sauce on them, so I could enjoy the tenders on their own and use the dipping sauce on the side. After getting a look at my buddy's burger, I'd definitely consider ordering one on my next visit. It looked that good! Overall, The Rocks seems like a great spot to grab a beer, watch a game, and enjoy some good bar food. I'd definitely come back to try one of those burgers!

The diner is quaint, table settings, and booths with I believe a bar. Service was quick and very friendly. The menu is a robust plant-based comfort food. I suppose some items could be "healthy", but in our group, we got quesadillas, which were loved the soul bowl, which I thought was A healthy option, but it was a comfortable 100%. Chicken quesadillas were a favorite. Soul bowl was really good. Who loved my blackened tofu kale and sweet potatoes. The chicken wings, I believe they were a spicy chili sauce, was not loved. If the advertising was a rib plant-based rib, that would've been a perfect match. The texture was giving me rib boneless rib, not chicken. It was a little bit dry. chewy, so table didn't love it, but I actually liked it.. next was the seasonal pumpkin chocolate cheesecake. Everyone loved it. It was such a good decision. I wanna say it wasn't like a cheesecake. It was like a very unique delicious version of a pumpkin pie topped with chocolate and the crust was chocolate as well. 10 out of 10 highly recommended! This is my first time and hopefully not my last. I would love to come back.
