What an amazing and memorable visit at The Lark. The ambiance is lively and fun. We came here for food but ended up staying for the Karaoke Night. The food is delicious and fresh. Beautifully presented. The drink menu is impressive and crafted very well. Service is attentive and friendly. Looking forward to coming back soon.

We came here for hh deals before a cubs game, not realizing how it was not near the action and in a different part of the neighborhood. Therefore it was quite empty on this Tuesday night. My hh white wine was pretty awful so I switched to a glass of rosé of the regular menu. I also got the Buffalo cauliflower, which was just cauliflower drenched in sauce. The sauce wasn't good and had a weird aftertaste, and the cauliflower should have at least been breaded or fried. The one redeeming quality was the Italian salad with grilled chicken that I got - this was actually a good portion, fresh, and with tasty chicken!

Pretty decent food and a huge menu! This spot is a pretty reliable crowd pleaser for brunch. I got the crab eggs benedict and was not disappointed. Their hashbrown casserole side is was also really good. Fun with a big group for drag brunch!

I don't like when out with a group of friends having to review a bill, a quick look to make sure the right number of entrees and drinks are on there and it's time to pay - especially when we have somewhere to be. To my shock and disappointment, I was overcharged for multiple glasses of wine on the bill vs the menu. Being able to trust the price in the menu is the price I'll pay is pretty fundamental to operating a successful business. If adjustments need to be made queue them up then reprint the menus, as well as adjust the online one - and as they had us scan a QR code this seems pretty easy to update. Even after the owner acknowledged the mistake no one tried to fix it or reach out to me to get me the difference - so take your business elsewhere or scan your check VERY CAREFULLY

This place gets worse every year. Thank you for the brown, wilted "salad" you charge $20 for.

We wer invited for a breakfast brunch for a birthday. It was actually my birthday so of course we would go. The entertainment was Venus C, doing drag lyp-syncs and that was fun. She was entertaining and super funny and kind, that added to the experience of course so having her there was fun. We opted not to have the bottomless mimosa brunch as it was a little pricey (but affordable). Pricey due tot he fact that I don't eat that much and I don't drink bottomless anything as it's way too filling. So we asked the waiter to separate our bill from the party of 12. He couldn't but we asked not to charge us the brunch price and we would pay for our individual at the end by giving our friend what we consumed and drank. He agreed and everything was fine. The mimosa was excellent and the breakfast was great also. But here's the issue. The bill came and of course we were keeping tabs on our consumption. After having a $700 bill it turns out they charged us for the full brunch price. Ummm. We drank 2 mimosas and a breakfast plate. Not the brunch menu. Even after telling the waiter he said it was too late and they still charged us the menu price. We decided to not create a big deal since it was a new experience and many new friends we met that day, needless to say it was a bad experience with the bill, but I would definitely go back, but not in a large group as they can't separate bills and it seems to cause confusion. They would of got my rare 5 star, but not after that confusion. Still, I like to give honest reviews and their salads are excellent and the mimosas are perfection in spice! Please try them out as they are a good place for brunch for sure. Large groups won't get seperste bills so pay attention that.

Service was wonderful (we sat at the bar). Drinks were nice and strong. We got the Arancini and it was incredible. One ball per person would do as an appetizer.

Bottomless mims - so obviously 5 stars. Pixel was our hostess for Easter Sunday drag brunch. Honestly, so amazing. She hosted, educated the children and used her pussy like a swiffer. Food was solid and r ew ally quick service. Literally refilled our mims every chance they got. I would highly recommend making reservations on Open Table, this place seems to fill up quickly. Would not hesitate to come back. Amazing show!

This place has a nice and cozy vibe. I've only been here for dinner and trivia but both times the food has been awesome and the server is the best! I'd recommend coming here with friends for trivia or for a casual dinner. Great location in boystown too!

I scanned the QR code and went to the bathroom. As I walked back there, I noticed there were 4 open spots at the bar and there were 6 2-top tables set up, which was confusing because there was a 45 minutes wait. Walking back from the bathroom I thought I would ask the bartender if the seating at the bar was also reserved by through the waitlist. I walked up ( did not attempt to sit down as that part of the bar was not clean) and the bartender started rudely saying "have you spoken to the host " I said yes but I had a question, and she continuously said " you have to speak to the host." I told her that I just had a question for her then she rudely said again "sometimes we use this as seating so-rry." My partner and I decided to leave after that. I had never been treated that way in my life. I open my mouth to say something and I couldn't because I was rudely interrupted. I felt like I was hurried out of the area. After leaving the symphony, we wanted somewhere nearby to grab a meal and have a good conversation, so we ended up at Miller's Pub at 134 S. Wabash. My colleague had made a reservation, but honestly, it didn't seem necessary, you can easily walk in. Miller's Pub is a longtime Chicago staple, and we were seated quickly. The space is much larger than it appears, with a classic Irish pub feel and an antique charm that gives it a lot of character. Our server was enthusiastic, attentive, and very accommodating throughout the night, which we appreciated. Food-wise, we ordered a variety of dishes. I kept it simple with a salad topped with carrots and chicken, it was just okay, nothing particularly memorable. One of my colleagues ordered a chicken sandwich, and another got what might have been the most massive fish tender I've ever seen. If I ate fish, I definitely would've tried it, and she said it was really good. Unfortunately, what really impacted our experience was the atmosphere. There was a choir conference happening nearby, and a large group of attendees came into the pub and started singing, loudly and continuously, throughout the evening. While it was entertaining for the first couple of songs, it quickly became overwhelming and disruptive. It didn't seem like other patrons were enjoying it either, there was little to no engagement or applause, and I found myself wishing the staff had stepped in to tone things down a bit. I understand that a bar environment can bring in all kinds of energy, but this went on far too long and really took away from the experience we were hoping to have. Based on the food alone, I'd give Miller's Pub 3 out of 5 stars. But factoring in the overall experience, it's closer to a 2.5 out of 5 for me.

I had been wanting to try Industry Ales when it opened and was glad to have had the opportunity to finally check it out! I was slightly thrown off, as the dining tables are at the front of this space, and the bar is all the way at the back. In fact, my friend at first glance thought it was a sit-down dining establishment sans bar seating. We found our way to the bar and posted up at two seats. We were offered menus right away and found the bartender extremely knowledgeable. This was super helpful when facing down an encyclopedia of ales. He offered samples when we explained what we were looking for. That is service above and beyond, especially on a bustling Friday early evening. The brews were tasty, but I couldn't really discern what I was drinking apart to say it was a lighter Belgian Ale. Wine is more in my wheelhouse, but always good to change things up, especially when a person has the opportunity to be guided by an expert. The people seated nearby had ordered the tuna tartare which looked delicious. In fact, all of the menu is globally influenced (think: pizza samosas, pierogis, Korean BBQ) in addition to the classic brewpub favorites. In addition to the Brewpub, this location features the Millroom, a speakeasy-style lounge. I did not have a chance to check that out on this visit.
