I've been here for their first influencer event when they opened & again for 818 event...loved the service. Today was not the same. There's no one here. We were seated with brunch menus. Our drinks were taken for art but it was only when the server came back we were able to order. She came back at 3:09pm to be exact. To not honor brunch when we were here before cut off is insane. See attached to see how it should not have taken that long. Secondly, if brunch was over please state that so the option to order is now. It's a fact guest weren't informed. The option to order now vs when she retuned was not given. I understand a cut off at 3pm but once menus are given we should be informed. It is expected to honor a menu in front of me regardless of the servers time. Overall food is good but this gave very micro aggression. I'm quite disappointed bc up north is starting to live up to the unwelcomed statistics that's been spoken for years. read more

There are a lot of TVs which was great for the viewing experience but the vibe was a little reserved. My friends also were seated right next to a fan/vent and said they were cold the entire night. Will never return. Group of 10 celebrating a birthday, sat us at a 6 top even though we had a reservation for 2 weeks out. When we first came in they asked us to wait because they didn't have our table ready, thats fine.... But then you didn't even sit us at the correct table size.... ? Server didn't come by for 15 mins. Would've been nice if she at least acknowledged us and gave us waters. Finally got drinks after we had been sitting there for... awhile. We asked her if gratuity was automatic since we were a big party, we expected that, and she said no. So we tipped 25% only to get the itemized bill and see we were in fact auto-grad. I attended a ticketed Super Bowl open bar event with a group of friends and had an extremely upsetting experience due to repeated microaggressions and unprofessional behavior from staff. From the moment we arrived, one bartender treated us with visible hostility, including ignoring us, speaking negatively about her shift to her friends seated at the bar, and openly stating to them that she was "not serving us" while smirking. When one of my friends tried to get her attention to ask when the open bar ended, she was ignored. When that same friend later tapped her on the shoulder to ask the same question again, the bartender responded by yelling, "Don't fucking touch me," which immediately escalated the situation. A male staff member intervened but spoke over us and refused to listen while we tried to explain what had happened. This, again, felt like another microaggression, especially as our concerns were dismissed without being heard. A manager eventually came over and apologized for the bartender's behavior, but did not address the staff directly or take visible steps to de-escalate or correct the situation. Instead, our group was blamed. Our drinks were taken away, we were told to leave, and one staff member attempted to physically escort one of my friends out, placing his hands on her. At that point, we left. As Black and Brown guests, the pattern of behavior throughout the night made it feel very clear that this was not a welcoming or safe space for us. Since this happened, I've also noticed similar reviews from other Black and Brown guests describing similar treatment and the same unwelcoming atmosphere. For a paid event, we expected professionalism, respect, and inclusion... none of which were present. Based on this experience, this did not feel like a place for Black or Brown people, and I hope management takes serious steps to address bias, de-escalation, and guest treatment moving forward. read more

Just got assaulted by the "owner" at Parlays Lincoln Park. Large crowd and I was trying to get through, trying to crane my head around to find an away through. I was the "other side" of a rope that extended about 6 inches off of the bar. Somebody asked me if I was looking for the bathroom. I said I'm trying to get through. He said "well what the fuck are you doing here this is service," I said I know I'm trying to get through, I'm making my way back through. I stood on the other side of the rope where he told me, and it wasn't good enough for him? He said move you dumb fuck. I said fuck off. He said "what you say?" I said "I said fuck off you dick." He double fisted me by the chest and said get the fuck out mother fucker. I put my hands up as he tried to move me. Didn't work. He kept thrashing me and pushing me. Two other guys came and threw me out the back. Will CPD care? I'm 100 percent disabled vet with PTSD. This really is shattering a lot of my therapy work for me rn. New addition to the neighborhood is a refresher. This place has a really nice decor for a sports bar / hangout. Lots of space, big tables and a comfortable bar makes it feel very open and welcoming. The menu isn't big and likely because it's a soft opening, they seem to be working out the kinks. There was no draft beer and bottles were non-existent but did enjoy a standard Miller Lite out of the can. The menu is simple but effective in terms of the usual sports bar foods - wings, burgers and pizza. Again, on this night (and assuming working out the kinks) there was no pizza available. We went with the wings which were tasty - 5 alarm and their Parlay rub. Service was excellent - the bartender was friendly and helpful in making recommendations (as well as being accommodating on some of the gaps they had). Food was decent and standard for this type of restaurant. Definitely has a party atmosphere on game nights. The main issue was getting service from the waitstaff on a game day. They definitely seem to have way too high of a workload to keep up. I had the most delicious bottomless brunch at Parlay Lincoln Park this past weekend! They have an awesome brunch special going on right now where you can get 90 minutes of bottomless mimosas or domestic beer with the purchase of any entree for only $25! I looooved that the mimosas were "build your own" as the bottle of champagne and carafe of orange juice came in an ice bucket - such a cool touch! Our server was great about checking in to see if we needed any refills too. We had the breakfast burrito and the vanilla blueberry French toast - both were delicious and a great pairing for the mimosas! The seating space of Parlay LP is a really cool inside/outside area (which means TONS of great natural lighting during brunch!) I can't wait to go back and try out more of the menu! read more

This is a great spot to watch sports with your friends! The drinks are great and the food was super tasty. I had the Passion Paradise mule (tequila, lime juice, ginger beer, passion liqueur and passion fruit syrup). This drink wasn't overly sweet, the ginger beer gave it a nice bite. This is a newer sports bar that just opened last Fall. The good is that it has a lot of space and TVs. On a Sunday you can see almost every NFL game on at least one screen. The front patio/garden is real nice if you get to sit there. The food is all right, a few pizza options and a few sandwiches. I got the nachos once, those are real big, enough for a meal for 2 people. The boneless wings are a bit different than you usually see. Not bad, they're bigger, but they fall apart kind of easily. They specialize in moscow mules, they have a whole menu of them, if you like those you'll like this place. They also have 2 really good frozen slushies, and some other themed cocktails depending on the season. They have a few good craft beers, but strangely no drafts, which is rare for a sports bar. The music also gets a bit loud in between games. Also sometimes you have to ask to have the sound put on for a sports game, which should be a given for a sports bar, especially when a big game is on.
