I really enjoyed my evening here! Really chill vibes and attentive service. Thank you to Emil for taking such great care of my table. A cool sports bar where you can stay awhile and enjoy the viewing. They have a rooftop dining area too. It was a hot night so I didn't go up there but next time I definitely will. Inside has great air conditioning so it was a relief to come inside. The bar has an unassuming vibe with plastic water cups, plastic silverware, and disposable plates. The food is excellent!!!! We started with fried pickles and they were so good! The chips and salsa were pretty good too. I loved my southwest salad! Everything was so fresh and tasty. You can add a protein so I added their black bean burger and it was delicious! The chipotle ranch dressing was perfect. My friends enjoyed their chicken arugula salad too. Fantastic cocktails! My friends loved their extra dirty martinis. I had the Japanese Slipper cocktail and I really loved it and would order it again. I appreciate that they give you a pitcher with water for your table. They don't have a happy hour but they have some fun daily specials. I was there on a Friday and they had a $5 Pilsner and $10 pizzas. I think this will be such a fun place to watch sports with friends. The red line is close by. I was down the street for an event and I'm really glad we stumbled upon this place. Such a wonderful surprise!

Cool neighborhood bar - this is a University of Michigan bar for those who might care. Great place to catch any game on TV. It's smaller inside but the service is good and so is the food. Prices for Chicago were also quite refreshing.

The service and food are stellar, some bars have a good beer but can't do the food right. Not Sully's! Super good food, get the cheese curds. Definitely a good vibe for a game day but could use better table organization maybe?

I had a delicious chicken pesto wrap that was speedy and warm. The pesto is amazinggggg!!! The service was amazing and they were so friendly! Parking is street parking and they get busy. There are plenty of tvs inside to catch the game and great beer specials !! I will def be back here.

As a bougey girl with high standards in bars and restaurants, I can confidently say that Sully's is a gem! Don't let the dive bar look fool you- you get great drinks and food for an excellent price and from even better staff. Andy's the well known bartender that'll treat you right at this no-frills spot for drinks and grub. TVs are available for sports watching, and music is nice and not too loud either. I've so far had the fried pickles, Greek salad, and southwest fried chicken wrap with tots- all amazing bar food. Not the kind you typically get at other dive bars where you question if it was from a frozen aisle at the grocery store! The margarita is tasty and refreshing too. Can't wait for rooftop and patio season here!

Came here for an event and the staff were amazing! They were three deep at the bar but held it down very well, stellar service. Food was good, drinks were good, everything was priced well. Shout out to Austin for also giving some excellent recs on where to eat and drink around Chicago. Much appreciated, and so on point. Central and walkable to other cool stuff, highly recommended!

I've spent many Sundays frequenting Sully's after softball. It's your average bar but it has an excellent rooftop and lots of patio space. With the Covid environment, the extra patio space is ideal. They have sanitizer when you walk in, employees with masks and gloves, and washed down menus. Sully sticks and pizza was as good as always. For being average, 3 stars, the 4th is for the rooftop and friendly staff. Right now they don't offer pitchers of beer or water. Only selling water for $2 a bottle which seems extreme. Should be able to sell that at cost since it's a safety measure...

Place smells like a urinal. It's a dump. Food in the kitchen is gross. Made for dumb college kids.

Fun, great bar with decent priced drinks and food. The unofficial "creighton" bar of Chicago! Tons of TVs and fun bartenders!!

From the moment we sat down, our waitress--the one with curly hair and a gummy bear necklace--was noticeably rude and unwelcoming. When we were ordering drinks, we were speaking politely, but she just stood there silently, almost impatiently, waiting for us to finish. There was no friendliness or even basic customer service. When she brought out a classic margarita, she didn't make eye contact, didn't say anything, and just dropped it off and walked away. The drink itself was extremely strong to the point that it wasn't really drinkable. When we politely asked if it could be remade or if more mix could be added, she responded with, "Is this a complaint about a heavy pour?"--which came off as dismissive and sarcastic. It was disappointing because we were excited to visit Chicago and were hoping for a friendly, welcoming dining experience. On the positive side, the atmosphere was great, the outdoor seating was really nice, and the food was genuinely delicious. Overall, great vibe and food--but the service we received, especially from our waitress, made the experience far less enjoyable than it should have been.

The Scout in Old Town captures the look of the OG but in a new fresh way - perfect for present-day. We were instantly and warmly welcomed upon arrival. Lexi was our server and honestly five stars don't do her justice. She deserves 5,000 stars! The menu features some of the same menu items that were at the South Loop location along with some newbies. Lexi let us know what was what and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences. I loved my salad, and my husband loved The Wolf (said it was just like he remembered - his favorite!!!). Definitely check The Scout out - but warning, you will be spoiled by their fantastic food and service so much you will never want to go anywhere else other than there. We highly recommend!

If you've been to the old spot I'm talking about, you'll notice immediately that The Scout still has the beautiful, soaring ceilings, but they've also remodeled a chunk of the restaurant, which is great! We sat down pretty immediately at a table in the back of the restaurant - not too far from the (new) DJ booth, and our waitress was extremely kind and gave us prompt service. We were just hanging out, listening to the music, when the NFL Divisional playoff game that was on tonight came back on, and let me tell you, it was the loudest game audio I have ever heard in a bar, ever. I've been going to sports bars for most of my adult life, and I get that folks can get excited and loud and that's not what I'm talking about. The audio of just the announcers and players from the telecast were almost exceeding 100 dBA, slow, without the bar cheering. I've been an audio engineer for over 20 years, and that isn't too far off from the base level of what you'll experience at concerts at the United Center (102-110 dBA, slow). We asked twice if the zone that encompassed our area of the restaurant could be turned down - but nothing changed, so we took our food to go and left. It wasn't just "can't have a conversation" loud, it was "I can't think" loud. This place needs to do some system tuning (the example I'll give - if you go to a Yard House the environment is loud and lively but you can still hold a conversation at your table because the audio system is extremely well tuned). The food that we ate when we got home (Kids mac n cheese and buffalo wings) were exceptional, so that's why I'm not leaving a single star. I don't know if we'll be back, I was incredibly disappointed tonight.
