This was my first time back here in 9 years! I'm pretty sure at least. We came for Tuesday Bingo and the food specials ($6 Modelo, $10 Taco Tuesday of the day). We do not live in the area but our 3rd party does. WE arrived at 6:30 for 7pm Bingo on a nice summer evening (it turned very rainy later but that's another story). So apparently downstairs is open windows (I went in November, windows closed) and it was a little humid, but upstairs was blasting cold! It was not the best first impression, as we made an Open Table reservation and were placed near the RESTROOMS, at the end of the bar on the first floor. We haggled and asked for another table. They gave us a table, with a booth, upstairs. It was cold but at least we got good views of sports and the Bingo board. Good idea to do a board, as sometimes people can't hear the bingo caller. Our waitress (Sophie?) was friendly and attentive. The food was very good, and the Bingo people were friendly and funny AF! The bathroom was cramped but clean. I'd go back on a 'regular' night, or to watch college football. read more

The chicken Caesar sandwich was transcendent. I was not the same man walking out of that bar that I was walking in. I will come back just for that sandwich. (Would've added a picture, but I went deletion mode on it) read more

For a bar, this is probably one of the better ones I've been to. We came for bingo night, which was very fun. The host was really entertaining and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The place was buzzing by the time everyone was settled. Additionally, the bingo night specials were amazing, and I highly recommend attending. The Big Show pizza was great, as good as bar food gets. I wouldn't have expected such a place to bring out food so well done. read more

Pbj burger was so bomb, on a bagel. I'm trying this at home for sure. Bloody mary was decent too! Super roudy giants fan was yelling in my ear all day. Great energy though! Cute area of town. We rode bikes everywhere. Close to Lincoln park zoo great for an afternoon stroll read more

Came in on a Tuesday night with my friends for bingo and had a great time! The bar filled up for bingo and the atmosphere was a lot of fun with a lot of high energy. To eat, I got the Dill Pickle pizza which was honestly so good. My husband got the southwest made into a wrap and said that it was really good. The only miss on our experience was the chicken tortilla soup, which my friend said just tasted like tomato soup. Despite the bar being full for bingo night, we got our food decently quick as well as drink refills. In addition to bingo they also have trivia and music trivia that we want to try out! read more

Enjoy the Wednesday trivia and enjoyed a solid marg! Service was great but drink pricing is a bit high

Been here for trivia on Wednesdays twice. Mackenzie has helped us both times and she is awesome. The food blows us away each time, and they have great drinks. Trivia is so exciting and fun here - they normally fill up the entire restaurant on Wednesday's. We love their bbq quesadillas and Caesar salad. read more

I've lived in Lincoln Park for a little under 10 years, and I don't know why I hadn't gotten any food from Gaslight?! So a couple months ago, I decided to place a pick-up order.... and now it's becoming my new habit. I've become OBSESSED with a salad they have here... and it's not something I can make at home (well).. so they've got me hooked. The Honey Goat Cheese Salad, is so SO good!! Like... I didn't imagine this would become my new obsession, but alas! Here I am, craving it every weekend. The salad is a great size, and comes with these incredible goat cheese fritters, along with asian pears, crispy prosciutto, almonds, red onions, and a roasted garlic vinaigrette. YUM! Those goat cheese fritters are awesome, it's like battered and deepfried goat cheese (what's not to love?!). Also I could drink the garlic vinaigrette. Such an unassuming place to have such an addicting salad, but I'm glad I uncovered this! The staff also is always SO friendly. I'm shocked by the average reviews for this place?! I would recommend anyone to stop in for a bite or a drink. You may find your new favorite meal :) read more

Bar with fun trivia and bingo nights. Decently sized, two different rooms of seating. Food is very average, my salad was disappointing. Very light on the honey goat cheese and the prosciutto. Would recommend adding protein if you get this salad, (2.5/5). Sweet potato fries came out cold and when I asked for ranch, I never got it (2/5). Also, the water here tasted awful. It had the weirdest after taste. Service was fine! read more

Fun place to watch a game + drink if you like beer or drinks in cans. I was underwhelmed with the mule, espresso martini, and margarita. I should have stuck with seltzers. The food was okay. The nachos were good. The honey goat cheese salad was good, but my goat cheese fritter had very little goat cheese in it which was disappointing. The boneless garlic parmesan wings didn't appear to have any garlic parm sauce on them. The boneless bbq wings were better since they were saucy. The cookie skillet was a little burnt which took away from it. The middle, which wasn't burnt, was great. There appeared to only be one server and she was killing it! I was super impressed with her attentiveness even while being incredibly busy. read more

Gaslight is always a safe option for a quick beer and meal. I have tried a few of their cocktails but I am personally not a fan and would recommend to stick with the beer options. However, their food is pretty good. My go to is the buffalo mac and cheese ( ALWAYS a hit). Gaslight can get pretty busy, so I try to go during weird hours. If you do end up going during the busy hours, it's still a really good time! read more

Gaslight is a fun neighborhood bar with lots of seating options and a good spot for groups. It's a fun atmosphere, and the outdoor space is very nice in the summer. There's a lot of people who come here to watch sports. On Wednesday nights they have trivia at 7:30pm (make sure you make a reservation if you plan to come). The trivia is quite challenging questions in a variety of categories but they give away high dollar gift cards so it's pretty fun. I tend to feel like most of the servers are in a bad mood whenever I have come here. The food is ok; I got a buffalo chicken salad as a wrap with sweet potato fries. I like the you can get the salads as wraps but it is pretty standard bar food. The tater tots are pretty good too! They have a good menu variety. read more

This was an okay sports bar. The food options were fine, nothing too crazy or anything that stands out. Didn't have any alternative meat options. The drinks were also okay. They were pretty busy for CFB and good amount of screens to watch all the games but servers seemed a little overwhelmed with the amount of tables. read more

Food hit the mark for good bar food. FYI, the tots are definitely more than shareable and the cheese curds were epic. Tried the frose and it was good! Service was great, it was a buckeye game day so the ambiance was chaotic in the best way possible. Does get crowded early for game days so get there between the end of a game and the start of a new one. read more

This is a fun place. Definitely a loud sports bar though. We stopped in for a quick dinner but most people were there to watch games. The food we had was amazingly good; pork belly sliders and pizza. The pork belly sliders were made with perfect fresh ingredients; crunchy cabbage and pickle on top. The pepperoni pizza was nicely done with a thin crisp crust. And get this; the place was packed but the host and waitresses were so nice and attentive that I might go back just for that reason. So; high voltage sports bar, not a place for intimate conversation, but we had a really good time here! read more

This place had pretty good food and drinks! I got the raspberry margarita which was delicious! I also got the nachos, which were decent but had very little nacho cheese, which was disappointing. The other toppings were good! One thing that turned us off about the bar, was the service was not great. When we entered, the bouncer asked us for our IDs in a very strange way, as if we were bothering him by entering the bar. The bar was not super packed and there were a lot of empty tables before we sat down. Our server also rarely checked in our table, and we had to get her attention multiple times to order, which was a little frustrating. The decorations were cute, and the drinks were good, so overall a decent experience, but also a few areas to improve! read more

Nice sports bar on the main strip of Clark in Lincoln Park. I sat out on the patio area. It's a nice spot to watch a lot of sports games on one of the many TVs, while sipping on one of their many drinks and munching on one of their many food items. I just got some fries, they came with this really tasty house seasoning. They have your standard beer draft selection, with the usual crafts, and a good amount of house cocktails and old favorites. The staff were all nice. If it's real hot outside, the patio may be a bit hot as well, especially if there's a lot of people there, but if you're too hot you can always go outside as well. Not too expensive, especially for the area. I could see myself popping in again if I'm ever in the area. read more

Gaslight is a cute bar with generous outdoor seating. They have at least 6 different TVs so that you can always see some sport that is playing. We got seated quickly and service was great. From an extensive menu of bar eats to a great selection of drinks on tap, Gaslight is a great spot to spend a few hours with friends and watching sports. The fried chicken sandwich was crispy and delicious. I would definitely recommend it! The smashburger also definitely hit the mark. My friends and I went to Gaslight to watch the World Series and the college football games. The place was packed so service was kind of slow, which is understandable. When ordering drinks I asked for a drink that ive had there before but wasnt on the menu. The waitress looked at me like I was crazy and told me to order the Transfusion. The Transfusion was gross. The Nachos and goat cheese salad were pretty good and would order again. We were all disappointed in the wings and the cookie skillet. Overall I would not go out of my way to go back to Gaslight but if my friends were there I would meet them. read more

Had a great time here on a Tuesday night for a late dinner and a couple beers. Got in right as the kitchen was closing and the staff was super nice and let me order anyway. Outdoor patio is super sick with TVs everywhere. Covered with heaters as well. Great vibe. Was looking for a place to watch the Zags v Saint Mary's game late night so it was perfect (go zags). Had a great time chatting with Josh the GM as well. We talked hoops and football for like 30 minutes, he's a great guy. Made sure I was taken care of the whole time I was there Alright- the food Smoked Turkey Sandwich - 5/5 I kinda just wanted something simple with a good amount of protein since I was coming from the gym. This thing exceeded all expectations -see pictures. Very flavorful and generous amounts of all ingredients on the sandwich. It's on this like tomato focaccia type bread as well that is to die for. Was told afterwards by Josh that this is his favorite item on the menu so highly recommended! Mac n Cheese - 3/5 Nothing to write home about really here. Since I just moved to chicago I'll try to keep it local with the sports analogies but kind of like a Nikola Vucevic of Mac n cheeses. You're kinda forget you have it but it certainly does the job. Overall dope spot that's super close to my place. Gonna have to come back for trivia and brunch to see what that's all about! read more

I'm back - what stood out today was our server Annie who was chill, approachable, with perfect timing when you want her around. Standouts tonight was the cheese curds, the pretzel and the margie pizza (margharita) - light, subtle, yet satisfying. Special thanks to the fresh pot of Coffe at the end. My previous review also stands especially with the alcohol. I had amaretto stone sour - no complaints. read more

New to the neighborhood and swung by for some drinks and dinner. By the time we arrived, it wasn't too crowded and there was room on the patio - great spot to get fresh air while watching games in the many televisions. To eat, we got the Buffalo chicken wrap & the fish tacos. Both were good & refreshing. By the time we were close to leaving, the bar really filled up with younger people, standing room only, but our waitress was still extremely attentive. Would go back! read more

Rude. Gaslight was packed, as expected of most bars on St. Patrick's Day. But the lady letting people in was really rude. She let people cut in line, basically ignored the ones in line, and when others in line turned to leave, she made fun of them and yelled "MMM BYE" read more

I'm back again but now with friends from my building nearby because my boy RYAN from the previous review has committed to living in Grand Rapids for the rest of his life. Happy for him. Glad he's no longer dating the woman he moved back there for. He deserves better. He met someone new and he's happy now. LFG We adapt, we persevere, we overcome. I digress. Really just checking in to say that Gaslight STILL rules. Can't tell if any of the people who worked here when I came last time are here tonight, but that's also because I'm wearing my glasses and the prescription isn't up to date. Bouncer was kind and that goes a long way with me. Haven't ordered yet bc my neighbor and friend got me a Modelo, but I'm sure that when I do - things will be great. Went here Tuesday with my girlfriends and it was a chill place to go for a weekday. We sat in the "outside" area which was really nice during a windy/ spring day. On Tuesdays they do a Taco special, with $8 margs so I got two of those and they really really good. 2 of my other friends did the same & the 2 others did an IPA and a Mule. We didn't get any starters, but for to eat, I got a prosciutto pizza with arugula and it was fantastic! That combo for me on a pizza is already unmatched. Not all my friends ordered food but the two others who did got tacos for the special that day. The service was whatever. Our server came to check up and stuff but wasn't overly nice or anything, she kinda seemed like she didn't wanna be at work (who could blame her LOL). Overall good vibes especially outside. I would go back. read more

This place is great. I have been here twice and absolutely loved it each time. It's a great vibe. A walk in bar, and they play throwbacks and current hits (LOVE). The food was great, and i was surprised since it was a bar. Truly a delicious meal, and so fresh. Not pictured, but I got a Prickly Pear cocktail & that was delicious and so refreshing. I came here with a group the first time, and then by myself the second time and it was an awesome experience both times. Gaslight is a Lincoln Park staple. Being part of the 4 Corners Restaurant Group, it gave me somewhat of an idea of the food and atmosphere before ever coming here. I was a regular at School Yard back in the day (RIP!), and many of the menu items at Gaslight are similar. We arrived around 7pm on a Saturday night and it was packed! Luckily, there was a little high top table we were able to snag. This is off the main patio space (that is entirely enclosed and heated!). Our table had a bit of a wobble but the doorman was kind enough to quickly get us a stopper which did the trick. I sipped on a spicy margarita which didn't have much spice but was tasty regardless! We started with the spinach and artichoke dip which was phenomenal. The grilled ciabatta bread complimented the flavors in the dip perfectly. I went with the turkey burger for my main meal which was good but didn't blow me away. The fries and truffle aioli though? Chefs kiss. Great little neighborhood spot that I'll continue to support! read more
