What a great neighborhood bar! They have an amazing happy hour from 4-6 and then also have daily deals almost every night! My friends and I went for Tuesday night trivia and arrived early to take advantage of the happy hour deals. We got the hummus plate, cauliflower bites, and nachos! I wasn't expecting much for the food, but honestly it was surprisingly very tasty! You could tell the hummus was house-made and they had a great assortment of veggies on the side. This used to be my favorite place for trivia but unfortunately it's gone downhill. We were squashed in a corner by the bar and it was impossible to get up without physically touching someone. The girls at the bar stools were nice and courteous but they couldn't get up either without the same issues. I get trivia is busy but the setup was super clunky. The server brought two waters despite there being three people at our table. I asked repeatedly for a third water and it never came. They no longer have their AMAZING Brussels sprouts nachos (the nachos they do have are still pretty good but the old ones were my favorite in the city). I placed an online order for some takeout. I ordered 2 separate 8 piece wing orders for a total of 4 different sauces. I chose their Bourbon BBQ, chili-maple, Buffalo and honey-habanero. All the sauces were tasty, but they didn't mark them, so I had to guess on a couple of them. I want to say the chili-maple tasty had an Asian tangy spice to it, but overall was really satisfied with the entire wing order. The Buffalo sauce was also very good. I also ordered their cheese curds, but unfortunately, cheese curds don't travel that well. By the time I got home, they were cold and soggy. Wouldn't really blame then on the restaurant, but overall they tasted great with their chili aioli. This was a really disappointing experience because I love the environment and food, but the GM was not helpful. Our party was sat in the back corner (we had 15 people) and were surrounded by a sea of others with no air flow or AC, making our area of the bar very humid, hot and unbearable. We brought this concern up to our server and GM multiple times with no solutions or further discussion brought upon by them. I hope that this issue can be resolved and the GM can have a better understanding of customer service. read more

I've been wanting to try this place out for the wings, and the garlic buffalo and bourbon bbq definitely met my expectations! Our big group was in the way back of the enclosed patio, so service was not as quick at first because we were probably out of sight/out of mind. However, once we finally got our waters and order in, things were smooth and the dinner was a great fun experience! We ordered the 30 piece wings for the group, and unfortunately were only allowed to split between two flavors (hence why I only mentioned the above two flavors). Definitely appreciated the big bowl of ranch and carrots/celery that came with. The brussel nachos were also divine! We got it with the pulled pork, and these are probably some of my favorite nachos because having veggies on top is brilliant! My cocktails were super tasty as well - they were out of the watermelon paloma but gave me a pomegranate paloma instead. Honestly, didn't really know what to expect going in, but I heard that have daily specials, and with me being a wing aficionado and seeing Wednesdays they have $1 wings, I knew I had to come here to try them out. This place is massive. I was not expecting it to be as large as it is, but it's genuinely a great place to watch sports. There are a multitude of TVs inside AND outside, giving anyone the chance to watch their sport or game of choice. We were seated outside in the patio on a cooler October night, and it was perfect with the heat lamps all around us. As far as what we ordered... got 18 wings in total, with 6 being the Buffalo, 6 being the garlic Buffalo, and the last one being the hottest option which was the Sex something. Personally, none of them were really all that hot to me, and I found the Buffalo option to be a little more BBQ flavored than I would have liked, but they were all really good. I think the garlic Buffalo was my favorite as far as flavor though. But the wings come out really juicy, fresh, etc. The ranch is also good here which of course makes all the difference! We went at noon on a Saturday, and the front bar was empty upon walking in, which I thought was strange because brunch on Saturday in Chicago is busy pretty much anywhere. I was shocked to see just how big the inside space was, and then the patio around back, which is where all the other brunch goers were seated. The patio is fantastic. Booths, tables, tvs, and retractable canopies for rainy days like this one. They offer a $25 bottomless mimosa deal which was a great value. Really the only downside was that they served it with small plastic cups, which just seemed like unnecessary waste. For lunch, I went with the hangover breakfast sandwich and subbed the brisket for bacon. I mean, anything involving a pretzel bun and I'm sold, but this sandwich was seriously a winner! Two of my friends got the nashville spicy chicken sandwich and now I want to come back for lunch or dinner just to try this because it looked unreal. Another friend ordered the steak skillet which she loved. Our server was friendly and attentive. The smoky chipotle was the best of the two, the smokiness was very subtle and not in-your-face and the flavor of the chipotle definitely was present and nice. The wings were cooked just right and not dried out. The even re-heated well in the oven the next day. On the other hand, the garlic buffalo was okay flavor wise. I was expecting more garlic flavor.
