Solid spot for drinks and bar food. The wings are great! They're a little price imo but they're very good. It's definitely a no frills experience on a strip of places with lots of various frills, but that makes innjoy perfect for chill drinks with friends or an easy first date. You can order with the QR code or with the server or bartender, either one works. Service was friendly but not super attentive, checking in etc. Glad to have it in the neighborhood! read more

I came here with my friend Carson from my old place of work. He was actually my first friend from work but since then I've made others. He's still the first though. Anyway - this place rules. They have another location in Wicker and my boy Carson from work has been there but he never went to this one. Now he has. I love it here. The bouncer/magician/spiritual guide, Angel, is chill yet good at his job. Bartenders Mayra, Selena, and Sarah with an H were amazing. Standard sports bar, sub-standard service. It took so long for our food to come out, we had to get it to go. And then we got handed the wrong order! When we asked where our food was, the server told us to run after the guy who took part of our actual order. We were excited to try the cheese curds breaded with Cheese-It's, but really they just taste like they're breaded in stale panko bread crumbs. Skip this place and go up the street for better food and much better service. read more

We are currently sitting down and not having a great experience. We were excited to order wings since we heard great things about them. When we arrived there weren't that many people so we tried to order right away. Bartender ignored us and didn't say anything when we asked if we could order food. Didn't even make eye contact at any point. When we went up to order a second time, she then decided to a clean table. Really disappointing since we waited for a while and she only seemed to focus on who seemed like regulars. I understand that it can be stressful but could've at least acknowledge us and not make us wait almost 30 minutes to order. At the end, this wasn't even worth it. The wings were terrible. read more

The perfect little dive bar. My friends and I came to grab some food before going to a show at the Concord and we were so happy. It was a cold and wintery day so it wasn't crowded inside. We grabbed a table and the bartender eventually came and served us. For a while she was the only one so we didn't mind that it took a few minutes before she came over. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad wrap and it was so good. The carrots weren't shredded which was interesting for the wrap but it was overall delicious. My friends ordered burgers and loved them. We also ordered some cocktails that were on special (Harvest Mule with Cinnamon Vodka, Apple Cider, and Ginger Beer). They were so delicious. Overall, we definitely plan to go back. We love a good dive bar! This place definitely fits the bill. We were two tourists in the area in September 2021 doing a beer crawl through this neighborhood and drinking beer at the more bougie places. In comparison, this felt like a breath of fresh air. We got here right when they opened, which happened to be happy hour, and we really appreciated the cheap, unpretentious beer and the efficient, no-nonsense bartender. They also have slushie cocktails, which went down really well on a hot day. We didn't order any food, so I can't comment on that. The bar was full of locals, which was another good sign that we were onto a quality dive bar. It's not a destination per se, but if in the area again, we'd love to come back. read more

My friends and I came here after a concert at the Concord down the block. It caught our attention as we were walking to get to our car because we could hear them playing some awesome 80s music from Prince to Duran Duran to Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. Went inside and there were only a handful of people. We ordered drinks and within minutes started dancing with the others starting to join in also. The DJ came to talk to us to ask us about how our night was going and if there was anything we wanted to hear. He was really friendly and down to Earth. As we arrived after midnight, their kitchen was closed. It would have been nice to get a bite but it's all good because we realized that Victory Grill down the block was open. Overall, it was a great night at Innjoy and I really look forward to returning back soon for another 80s dance party. read more

Local watering hole that lets you "Innjoy" your beer. Typical dive bar: wooden tables and stools, chill atmosphere, dim lighting, attractive prices. Spent a few hours here on a Sunday night, while a friend got a quick bite to eat. The basket of heaping waffle fries and wings slathered with white garlic sauce smelled delicious. They also have ramen here, which is unique. My friend said that he came he once before and the bartending service was awkward and not professional. However, during my stay; the service was okay. The bathrooms are actually clean here despite the rough bar interior. Don't judge a book by its cover, I guess! I would love to come here again to raise my review rating. Love this place--great ambiance and the bartenders are awesome, especially Rudy and Sarah. But they recently changed the times the kitchen is open and that sucks. During Happy Hour, I want to be able to get a bite to eat with my first drink. And closing the kitchen on Mondays is just dumb. One of the reasons it's been a great bar is because the food is good and has, in the past, been available at the times I want it. I'm less inclined to go for Happy Hour with the change and I won't go at all on Mondays now. I was there one day last week at 4 and numerous customers wanted to order food but were told they had to wait. Change it back! It'd be a five star review if not for the new kitchen hours. read more

Maybe we missed the good days they have by going during the week but we never have felt a need to give it another shot. This has to be one of the only real dive bars in Logan Square/that long stretch of Milwaukee ave from Kedzie to Damen. Where everybody could potentially know your name, where you could kick your feet up on a early Sunday afternoon with a cold beer in hand, and where you could jam on some amazing music from any era. Innjoy does it all to ensure that their drinkers can have that place to turn to when they want to have a damn good time. Ever since moving here to Logan Square, I've called this bar the general go-to place when I need a drink bad and a change of scenery. No matter the occasion, whether you wanna watch a game, eat a meal, or listen to the DJs play their mixes, a fun night will be had at this bar. Taps are always filled with great beer choices are fair prices, and their drink menu just about has it all. Recently, I had the pleasure of trying their brunch food and I very much enjoyed the ambiance of being at this otherwise dark and damp dive on such a sunny day. I love Innjoy, and I'm going to miss it once I move to a different neighborhood. This place is just another example of how charming dive bars in Chicago can be. They are able to show their love to their patrons, who truly value the bar industry, and it looks like they all really have fun doing their job! read more

We walked in here on a whim because our first option was closed for some reason. We had low expectations, but I am happy to say I was blown away with how great the service was, but also the quality of the food. The wife walked in with our 2year old, and we first thought we made a mistake as it is a bar that happens to have food. That was my assumption, and I was glad to be wrong. The bartender warmly greeted us, and arranged to get us a high chair once he saw our son. The server was beyond accommodating, and and the food was prompt, and was awesome. I had the spicy chix sandwich, and she had some wings, both were just great! Even the other bar regulars were nice to us, which we usually do not get once we walk in with little one. The best thing about this place is the ascetics. I came to watch a basketball game abs I wish I had before I came. I got 8 wings and fries. I just moved here at the beginning of this month from San Francisco and I was tentative due to the so/so reviews. I live only 800 feet away and I quickly learned my fears were unwarranted - I love dive bars, and I was pleasantly surprised by this one. The drink specials could not have been beat ( MONDAY: Bud Light draft $2, Bud tall Boy $3 with plenty more specials I forgot, like $1 Jell-O shots), and the 1/2 price wings were delicioussss with a variety of sauce selections. The bartender Reese assuaged my misgivings without even knowing - he was a total delight. Reese was conversational, informative, and intuitive and still not at all over-bearing. After a long while away from this place, and after the name change, in desperation for a cool place to hang out with great reasonably priced food, we hoped maybe things took a turn for the better here. Nope. In fact, the food got worse. They ditched a few things off the menu but generally it's exactly the same menu. The bartenders got less friendly and more snarly, and not in that hip cool kid kind of way either. It's dead as a doornail in here, and it's pretty obvious as to why: It's the same exact place as it was when it was Madison House, just now a bit worse which is a surprise if you think about it. Madison House was hardly anything worth swinging by for. Looks like they know they're in trouble, they're getting their friends to review with 5 stars. So. The quest continues around town. read more

That was when Innjoy came into view (nothing special to look at, then again, most dive bars aren't) and we abruptly jogged across the street to check things out! Depending on what you are in the mood for, this is just a good ole' get-to-know-your-neighbor-bar OR a new spot to knock a few back and bust a move. You make the call. This place has a cozy atmosphere, TVs for the sports lovers, a small area with a DJ and dancing for those who are into that, and a nice food and drink menu. We enjoyed some of the happy hour specials which were reasonably priced and pretty tasty. Overall, what you see is what you get. Nothing wrong with that! read more

I love this place! I've always been a huge fan of the dance parties at the Wicker Park location and was excited that they were opening a second location. I was there a few weeks ago for karaoke night and the DJ was so nice. Love the PBR and whiskey shot deal for $5. Went back last night because I thought it'd be karaoke again, but I was pleasantly surprised that they had a DJ playing Top 40 and some awesome 90s and 00s hits. He was great!!! My fiancé and I had a party on the dance floor even though we were the only two people dancing! Bar had a good number of people so that it didn't feel too crowded like the other location can get, but enough people so that it was a happenin' night. We also ordered food and it was really good! The cheese curds were more like mozzarella balls, but I'll take fried cheese any way I can get it. The wings were also delicious. I've had really friendly servers both times and will be going back for more fun! read more

Let me start by saying I've had several great experiences at Inn Joy thus far. This evening, we came to Inn Joy for the Wisconsin Badger game. Mind you, there is a very large Bucky Badger in their window and they are advertising themselves as a Badger bar. We arrived at 6:00 pm to watch the beginning of the MI State game and sat outside on their patio, which has one television. There was a group of 6 who came in and demanded that the Cubs game be turned on and the bar made the channel change without asking us if it was okay to turn off the MI State game. We didn't complain and come 7:30 pm when the Badgers came on, we asked for a channel change, being that it's a Badger bar. They refused and made us go inside to a small table in the corner. We then asked them to change the channel up front where we were sitting and they once again refused and told us they would change it when the Cubs were over. We asked to speak to the manager, who was condescending and rude and clearly didn't care. YOU ARE A BADGER BAR. The manager isn't up to task and shouldn't be managing this bar. My complaint isn't about the bar, the food, the drinks or the wait staff. Don't advertise your bar as a Badger bar if you aren't going to cater to the group of people paying your bills. read more

I have lived in Logan Square for about 15 years and have been in hospitality industry for 25 years. So I have seen a lot of bars/restaurants in the area come and go .... I cant say I'm a "regular" at this place nor was I when it was Madison House. I might go here 2x a month because some of my friends go there. But the last 3 visits I really understand why I don't go. The service is the worst. The people bartenders have no clue what they are doing. I'm not blaming them I blame the owners/managers. I have witness the owners and mangers sit at the bar and do shots with customers as they have people walking out the door due to lack of service. I was outside smoking the other night when a group of 6 walked out and heard them complaining they were there for 10 minutes and could not get a drink. Last night when I paid my bill I looked at it and I was charged and extra $1.20 per drink for asking for a "Tall" cocktail. I asked the bartender is this something new you are charging for? And her reply was "Not sure why? You are getting anymore booze I just think they are trying to get better rings by this charge." I have no problem paying for a tall and getting a little more booze but to be charged more to add another ounce of soda that cost you less than .03 cents. Not for me. That was the last time I walk into this place. Much better service 2 blocks away and appreciate your business. read more

Saw this place from across the street while I was at navigator taproom. Friends decided they wanted some food to snack on and they had wings and other stuff listed so we figured we'd check it out. The place is decorated with lots of modern and old school arts with rock, rap, etc. we were able to find a table pretty easily and that was about the only good thing we encountered. We got some drinks ordered which went smoothly. But, we wanted to order some food and went with ordering some wings and pretzels to snack on with our casual drinks. Well, we ended up getting distracted with our conversations and with watching the boxing match on tv. We then realized that we ordered our food before the boxing match started and it had already gotten to the 10th round and we still didn't have our food. At that point we decided to ask another server about our food since we couldn't find our initial server, we then were told that the kitchen was closed! Like huh? We mentioned that we ordered food way before and still haven't received it, at that point, our server appeared like a genie coming out of a lamp. She did remember the pretzel order, but apparently the wing order never happened? She was insistent that we did not order wings, but of course we wouldn't forget something like that because that's why we went there in the first place. Lol the other server which I guess was the bartender was gonna help fix the issue by having the kitchen make our food, but at that point we just decided to call it a night and dipskis outta there. We got our bill, and it had the food we never got on there. Like how did we not order food according to the server, but she remembered to put it on the bill? Makes no sense, on the plus side, we did get one drink removed from the bill so I guess that helps. The place did have quite a few people there which kept it busy but we sat there and watched over people get there food over and over meanwhile we were sitting waiting to even get asked if we wanted more drinks. Overall, it seemed good at first, but quickly found out that this was a mirage and didn't reflect what we thought would turn out into and awesome place. Maybe some more staff, or better tracking of orders could help improve people's experience here. For all this, I'm giving two stars, only because I at least got my drink quickly as I got there. So one star for that, and one star for the service. read more
