The inside is interesting and wasn't expecting it considering the location and seeing it from the outside. The bartender who served us wasn't really all that friendly, but got us our drinks pretty quickly. I actually didn't really like my beer, but I definitely would like to come back and try some other drinks as well as their food for sure. We enjoyed it so much, we visited twice during our weekend getaway in Chicago. Featuring wood-fired pizzas, burgers, sandwiches and more. Even fun drinks like the raspberry mule (it came with a pink rubber ducky) and over 12 craft beers if you happen to be into beers. Food wise we tried the cheese breadsticks stuffed with pesto. YUM!! It comes with a side of marinara if you want to dip the bread. We also tried the arancini, which are basically risotto balls stuffed with peas, and mozzarella and parmigiana cheese. Stopped in for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Options are plenty - including bottomless mimosas for 90 minutes. We enjoyed the food and cocktails. I had the big breqkfast. The pancakes were great and the bacon was perfect. I didn't try the cheesy hash browns as they couldn't be made without cheese since they were pre made according to the server. The fried chicken sandwich was good but the gravy was enjoyed much. The eggs Benedict was tasty. Service started great and then quickly fell off. We were patient but it wasn't super busy. Looked as ifnoir server was also tending the bar. Checks can only.be split two ways. A 20-% tip was auto added for my party of 3. I've never had dinner here but the couple of appetizers my friends and I sampled were really good- try the totchos! We didn't think you had to make reservations, but this was the first thing that the hostess asked, so I would 100% recommend making a reservation, because they get pretty packed. With a bottomless brunch package, you can't really complain much. The drinks kept coming & getting to choose between a mimosa or a Bellini is somewhat different from most places. I didn't leave feeling that I chugged a gallon worth of sugar with the orange juice either. The food for brunch is just ok. Absolutely not below average, but I wouldn't come back just on the food alone- it's really more of the environment for this place. I was really hopeful for this, but the food ended up just being okay. My fiancée and I ordered delivery online and got a chicken Caesar salad and a Kick'en Chicken Sandwich for dinner. I don't have much else to say than it was good enough. It was all just a bit lackluster. With all the other restaurants in Chicago, this one just didn't stand out to us, especially since it wasn't particularly inexpensive. Honestly what bumped it up for us was the onion rings I chose as a side to the sandwich. Those were amazing!! She said that we had to wait for our entire party to arrive. It was almost 2:00 p.m. and we were ready to be seated. Pre-pandemic, this was the only place my friend group ate at in Lakeview. Since the pandemic ended however, there is NO APPEAL to eat here the food is meh at best and the service is USUALLY lacking. The entertainment has become second rate with very little entertaining going on. I've been here two times when there was a problem, & the owner/manager handles it, but he's rather rude about it. There were 9 of us for a birthday celebration. We were there for over two hours. The Service - Terrible. We saw our waiter (Noe) twice. Once when he took our first drink order, again when he delivered the bill. Someone else took our food order. The Drinks - Terrible, The Bloody Mary's tasted like straight tomato juice. Bottomless brunch = totally NOT worth it. My friends and I went and paid for the 90 mins bottomless drinks. Our server didn't show up for 30 mins of that time, even after asking other employees to send him over. We ended up getting TWO drinks each over the 90 mins. When they finally showed up to ask for a third drink they didn't let us know the 90 mins was up and started charging our orders separately. We booked a table for 10 for a very good friend's birthday celebration on a late Sunday morning (11 am). We were seated once we had most of our party there and were settled in a separate little nook from the rest of the venue. We were worried it might be an issue with the performer (she was an excellent Selena, by the way) having to move back and forth between the spaces, but she was sure to stop by and even chatted with us extensively between her outfit changes. Would recommend coming for the drag brunch. Be sure to bring cash and tip nicely--they do carry small bills for exchange which is both excellent and convenient. The food was decent and our server was attentive. She made sure we had the drinks we needed (birthday girl celebrated with bottomless mimosas i.e., mostly champagne with a side of OJ). I had a coffee, a Bloody Mary, and the hot chicken with pancakes, the latter of which I thought it was juicy, quite tasty, and not TOO hot for sensitive stomachs like mine. The owner (at least I am pretty sure he was the owner) was sweet enough to have us move back into our dining room as we were leaving to sing Happy Birthday with brownies and ice cream (sprinkles included). This place used to be Halsted's Bar and Grill before it changed into Lark years ago. The old establishment had more of a "sports bar" vibe while this one feels more of a restaurant. I've been coming to this restaurant since the changes for years now so I must say that this review is long overdue. Overall I always have a good experience coming here, good selection of beer and cocktail menus, it seems like they're known for the pizza which is perfect to share if you're in a group or with a friend. I came in today with a friend for a late lunch/early dinner, it's been awhile since I was here and I'm glad they're still open, got seated outdoors no hassle. I had ordered Bloody Mary and Aperol Spritz for cocktails and it was good. My entree was the All American Burger with a side of Caesar Salad. Overall the food was good, the patty was a little dry and way too much salt as far as seasoning, the Caesar salad was good and my drinks were good as well, the waitress was very nice and friendly and the way they're handling service during the pandemic right now is awesome, most of the staff are wearing masks, outdoor seating is 6ft apart and they provide hand sanitizers as well, typically they do require reservations but we were seated just fine it's probably because it wasn't so busy. One of my friends suggested this place for drinks and pizzas, so we visited I few days ago. I am still amazed with their patio, not only because it was super cute, it was also well distributed and respecting the social distancing guidelines. We got a few appetizers, the breadsticks which were so fluffy and yummy, the fries (so crispy, I loved them) and the tatter tots nachos, which I am dreaming to get again! Also got a few pizzas to share, Margheritta, Prosciutto and Arugula and the Lark Lemon. The Lark Lemon pizza was a game changer, I just need it again and again and again. SO GOOD! Generally a great go to for food when I visit Chicago, however after my most recent visit I feel like it was a let down. The portion sizes have gotten smaller. The service is less attentive and the management has jumped on the Junk Fee bandwagon making them the Spirit Airlines of food. Subtotal, Tax, Tip and a "Processing fee". I feel like if you find it reasonable to charge a processing fee to take my money I should get credits back for "Data Usage" for having to read your menu on my on phone and maybe a credit back for actually coming in and supporting your business. read more

I didn't like mine and let my friend have it, voting to order something else. The flashing lights were overboard considering it's not a club but instead all seating.
