Infamous for their incredible plain slices; They always had the best pizza. My only complaint is that their slices are too small; especially at $4 per slice. Conveniently located in the old Pathmark Shopping center; a must go-to after your grocery shopping! I grew up in Flushing and Amore has always been there. Always consistently great. I moved out of Flushing about 15 years ago but still go to Amore whenever I'm in the area. For me, it's not just great pizza; it's pure nostalgia!

Whenever we're back in Queens, our mission is always to find a great pizza spot for a takeout dinner. This is the closest spot to LI that nails that perfect, classic Queens pizza crust we know and love. The sauce and cheese were absolutely spot on! And close enugh to arrive back still warm. So happy that my kids have class close to them on Tuesdays because we get the Tuesday special prices. Their chicken rolls are huge and delicious. Their white slice is my favorite white slice ever. Their garlic knots unbeatable. For like 40 bucks we have enough food to feed our family of four dinner, and have leftovers for the next day. Keep up the good work guys.

The pizza had a firm under carriage. Thin sauce. And a thick cheesey top layer. The sauce was a miss for me. It was soupy and didnt have much flavor. It works as a binding element to the firm crust and cheesey layer. Great for the traditional NY fold. After the first bite, the sauce just splattered to the plate. Its an average slice.
