I am new to the area and tried this place for the first time and it hit the spot. I got half pepperoni and plain and everything was on point. The two guys in the front were friendly and welcoming too. I will be back!

Xtra cheese place has been around for years and continue with their great quality. You come in and just get a sense of nostalgia. Just like the name says, they put a LOT of cheese on their stuff. But the sauce isn't lacking either. You come here if you want that nice carby goodness that is their pizza. And I personally crave the sausage parm hero from time to time. A personal favorite of mine. Very filling, tasty, and affordable. If you haven't tried Xtra cheese then what are you waiting for? Try this happiness for yourself!

Why haven't I heard about this place? I totally stumbled upon this place by accident. Yes - Great Pizza truly exists in Flushing. This quite possibly may be "That" greatest Pizza in Flushing. Either way, these guys can certainly run with "The Giants" & we certainly do know who are those "Giants" don't we ;-) Old School Establishment! - Limited Seating - Walked in the door and saw 2 Cops from the 109th Pct on their meal - Immediately realized - This place has got to be good. I suspect it was the owner who was on site; As the guys that prepared & served my food - did such with a sense of pride and conviction that one rarely sees anymore. Eggplant Parm Hero was exceptional. Quality of the ingredients were on the money. I'm definitely going to be returning to this location - which I kind of feel is "Off the Beaten Path" - I suspect that is why I never realized or heard of this great place. Definitely worth coming by to check out; Parking - as always is awful - But, it could truly be more awful. Plenty of Public Transportation. Highly enjoyed! - Looking forward to my next visit.

Their prices are good, two slice and fountain soda for $7 is a pretty good deal. Or one slice and soda is $4

I am a very picky eater, and my stomach can't handle heavy foods. My group arrived at the restaurant at 5 PM and were immediately welcomed warmly by Crystal and Insun before being seated. My group was able to get a table right away when we arrived but it does get busy fast especially during their peak hours. Following up, both Sam and Insun helped us with our drinks, such as providing water right away and even taking extra time to listen and recommend what beers/sojus would be best for the foods we were ordering, my group's preferences in alcohol tastes, and what would be best in terms of our alcohol tolerance! I originally came for their pizza, but since I was on vacation, my group decided we could all share different foods. I appreciate Sam's time in explaining their dish specialties and answering all the questions I had. I can say for certain this is one of the best Korean restaurants I've been to! My group ordered their rose pasta, aglio pasta, half serving of soy garlic chicken wings, half serving of sweet and spicy chicken wings, half serving of the mahsil pizza & half serving of their BBQ pizza. The pizza wasn't too doughy at all, and I love how the toppings aren't overpowering each other; plus, the pizza was loaded with toppings. Each chicken wing was crispy and had the perfect balance between sweetness and savory. I came for the pizza, but the rose pasta stood out to me the most! The sauce was very rich and like "melted" right in my mouth. I have a small stomach, but I couldn't stop eating everything my group ordered because each dish was comforting in its own way! Overall, the space is very cozy and lively; the customer service was not only attentive, but extremely kind and considerate of our time! Definitely come during dinner time, as the food is very comforting and feels warm in your stomach!

Then, even more importantly, the pizza was impossibly cheesy. In fact, there was so (disproportionately) much cheese that it practically overshadowed whatever else toppings there were. We had large golden crust half and half pizza with bulgogi on on half and Korean chive on the other. We liked the crusty crust and what looked and tasted like sweet potato mousse which appeared to have been squeezed around the outer edges inside the crust ring. The silverware and crockery, including the stand to lay the pizza on, were all nice touches, so I wish the service and food matched these other elements much more closely. They have a bar and flat screen TVs, and the music was audible but not too distracting. I wish them well.

The pizza had a firm under carriage. Thin sauce. And a thick cheesey top layer. The sauce was a miss for me. It was soupy and didnt have much flavor. It works as a binding element to the firm crust and cheesey layer. Great for the traditional NY fold. After the first bite, the sauce just splattered to the plate. Its an average slice. Decent and solid.

I tried a vite and thought it was ok, a bit more freshness from the sauce and all. But I waited for the simple cheese that always hits. I mentioned the pizza tasted better when we got slice that was reheated last time vs the whole pie. Gentleman confirmed yes reheating the slice makes for crisper crust and tastier pizza. He offered to make the whole pie well done and let it rest few minutes and pop it back in oven to reheat. It def was better than the last whole pie but I still think slice was better lol. Maybe pizza really needs to cool down a lot before reheating. Either way we loved it yet again, and kid brought the 2 slices leftover all the way back to LA, lol. Maybe I'll steal a bite whenever that gets reheated toasted up in the air fryer lol.
