I found this place as it was near my friends place. We were looking for a pizza place where it was a good distance wise. I ordered in advance by 30 minutes and was able to pick it up when it came straight out from the oven. They confirmed that it would take that long, too. The employees were very nice and friendly. Even when I mistakenly put in tip on the credit card bill without knowing it, they asked if I would like it refunded. I said it's okay, and left. Overall, the large Margarita pizza and the fun pack, which had a whole bunch of appetizers on it, were good. The only gripe was the price. It was quite pricey for a large specialty pizza. I grabbed lunch today and it was so good, I got a small cheese pie, a beef patty with cheese, and a chicken roll. The beef patty was SO GOOD, I initially ordered just a plain one, but they recommended it with cheese and I'm so glad I listened to them. It was juicy and crispy and overall the best beef patty I've ever tasted. the pizza was cheesy and the crust was crispy, it was so worth it for $16. Everything came out to be $27. I had the cheese deep dish pizza. The way I enjoy my pizza with the perfect crust is beyond satisfying. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the sauce was just the right amount of tangy and sweet. The toppings were all fresh just as the cheese was melted to perfection. I described my pizza how I like it and they absolutely delivered! Is there such thing as marrying pizza lol but on another note I truly enjoyed it. I've searched New York for the best pizza all year and I finally found it. The place is cozy/homey. They play sports and sometimes music on their tv. Was on my list to try out. Eddie was super nice. Ordered a cheese pie and was ready real quick. Dough was really good and fluffy. The pizza was good. Only issue was the cheese. I think it was too much cheese...so when you pulled a slice from the pie, half the cheese slide off. Just about everything that COULD go wrong with our most recent order at this pizzeria DID. I ordered a 14" sausage and cheese along with a 10" mushroom and sausage gluten-free pie. Both pizzas were delivered with no utensils or even a bag, 20 minutes late, lukewarm, and the 14" sausage and cheese pizza was just a plain cheese pizza. It tasted bland, and the cheese was a mess, falling off every single time I pulled out a slice. This place still owes me $5 for toppings I paid for that never came. I messaged the pizzeria last night, but have yet to hear back. I'm just grateful I live in NYC, where the choices for pizzerias are plentiful. Probably one of my go to pizza places in Flushing, I've been coming here since I was a child. This place has been open well over my lifetime at the moment and I'm glad it survived the pandemic. The staff and owners are exceptionally nice and the prices are average but quality is stellar compared to other pizza places in the area. The slice is all sloppy cheese, what sauce is there is very plain and without flavor. The marinara sauce that comes with garlic knots is also tasteless. I've had this place three times, got delivery and was super quick. The food was so damn good. I've gotten the large pizza with cheese and pepperoni, yeah a classic but easily can go wrong. This is an okay place to get some pizza if you live in the area. It's a fairly generic pizzaria, which isn't a bad thing at all. I do wish their pasta dishes were better than what I can make at home (and I'm hardly a good home chef). I wanted to try their lasagna at first and noticed it wasn't described. It's a meat lasagna blend of pork and beef. They can't seem to make it one or the other only, or make a vegetable/plain cheese lasagna for you, as it's premade. I went with the baked manicotti, which I believe is made with spinach. It came with a good chunk of bread, which was excellent and tasted fresh. The sauce, cheese, and filling was okay, but the pasta was disappointing. It didn't taste fresh and I had to avoid it after a few unhappy bites - thank goodness it came with some great bread to scoop the goods with. I'm totally okay if food joints prep their meals that morning in advance for the day, but this particular pasta dish, at least today, just wasn't quite right. The pizza is definitely a must. Even two original slices filled me up. It's quite average tasting, but it's really appetizing. The cheese and bread ratio is justified. Other places of pizza I would go to either have too much cheese or too much bread, but this one is equal. The crust is quite crunchy and thin. Have ordered from them at least 10 times, most of them weeknights. We always ask for extra sauce (Their sauce is yum), and they always oblige in spades. Their sicilian pies are heavy (Loaded with fresh ingredients), thick and make for ideal comfort food. Have eaten my feelings more than once using a Fratelli's Sicilian Pepperoni pizza as my medium. Highly recommend. The Chicken and Tomato pizza is to die for. The tomatoes taste very fresh, while the chicken is cooked and seasoned perfectly. With the extra sauce, it is mouthful after mouthful of pure joy. Their prices are premium (More with respect to the specialty pies), but so are their ingredients and the taste afforded by their seasoning and cooking methods. The value proposition is favorable here which keeps us coming back. Wife cannot get enough of them, especially because they are consistent and never scrimp when it comes to ingredients, portion size or overall quality. We always order delivery, and their delivery drivers are excellent. Efficient and personable, they always bring the food all the way up to our floor, and they are very conscious of the delivery time window. For instance, once they took 5min longer than the top of the delivery window (It is usually a window of 45min - 1hr which is always dependent on a few obvious factors) and went out of their way to apologize even though it was not an issue, as they are usually on the early side. Another driver called me down to the lobby because he had trouble parking, but apologized profusely for inconveniencing me, even though I was happy to come down. Point being, they are seemingly insistent on delivering a flawless experience each and every time. We have great appreciation for this sort of effort and vote with our dollars. If you are thinking about switching from your current pizza provider, try Fratelli's and be prepared to gain some weight. read more
