This place deserves a 2/5 rating mainly due to the bad service. First off, cleanliness - they handled money, then touched the pepperoni toppings to put into the oven with the same hand (without washing or gloves). Second, very very disorganized! It was busy dinner time and they had one poor old man making everyone's pizza. The boss guy along with another guy were just stocking aimlessly even though their supplies were full, young man doesn't know which order he's giving out to. Shockingly overrated. I continue to be baffled by professional-ish reviewers giving this place so much love. The pizza is over sauced, and the crust is boring and flat. Consistently. The staff is overwhelmed and openly rude to customers. I could specify which ones that I've watched behave like that, but if you have ever gone in, you'll know. They had a wonderful garlic aroma, they were very average and lacking in taste. We then had a well done pie with 2 everything slices. The sauce was slightly sweet and the pizza had a nice thin crust. The pie was not well done, as requested, or even that cheesy. It was one of the better pizzas I have had but again not the best. The service was non-existent. I had to get menus for our table. Our clams were brought out without plates and utensils. The waitress then gave me 2 plates, but we needed 3. My other issue is the cleanliness. The place is dated, but that adds to its history.
