We randomly stopped by since we were in the area, drinks just Ginger ale & that new Orange cream coke , I must say the orange cream soda was not bad at all, ginger ale always good. Food we had the Arancini , garlic knots & a pepperoni slice. Arancini was good, nice taste good w the dipping sauce. Garlic knots were good as well , hubby enjoyed the pepperoni slice. This place is a staple in the neighborhood it's been here forever , decent amount of seating classic type decor , they have a decent variety of food to choose from aside from just pizza. We went here after taking the kids to the NY hall of science on a rainy afternoon. This popped up as the closer pizzeria with Good reviews. I haven't had a slice in queens in forever but the kids were hungry and it was only 4 min away. They have an amazing special where you get a large pie, 10 wings and a 2 litter soda for what comes out to $25 after tax The pizza came out fast and hot it was so good! The wings were typical wings but the only complaint is the place is in dire need of an update but the staff were friendly and quick. We will be back if in the area. We were in NYC for a work conference and needed a quick lunch. We stumbled upon this place and I was so excited... NY style pizza! Being from Alabama, sadly, I've only ever had the usual pizza chains (Pizza Hut, Domino's, Papa John's, and of course... classic gas station pizza, Hunt Brothers). The employees were hard at work, moving quickly. The display case was already full of freshly made pizzas that were beautiful, IMO. I was with 4 other ladies and we all chose 2 slices each from the display case. The employee put them together and reheated them in the brick oven. (Insert incredulous redneck accent in my head, "man, Pizza Hut ain't got brick ovens like 'at down in Alabama!" ) Don't worry, I played it mostly cool on the outside. I chose a slice of Chicken Buffalo and (I think) a pepperoni/chicken/bacon? All I know is that they were both wonderful, especially the Buffalo. I loved how they didn't have much sauce and the crust was chewy, not-too-thick, not-too-thin. I was also thrilled they had Coke Zero, my favorite drink. Overall, service was fast, food was delicious and convenient. The pizza here was standard, it was nothing too special and tasted like a NY slice. I ordered 2 drinks 2 pepperoni slices and 1 Sicilian slice which came up to $13.50. Seating area was what you will expect in a pIzza place and the litigar was not boring but not dark. Not bad; def have had better but this is a spot if you want affordable NY style slices. I will say that the crust was not crispy/crunchy and is a bit thicker than many other nyc pizza spots. The dough is a little chewier but not undercooked; the slice itself is quite cheese dominant, and then you get the toppings, and then a little bit of the tomato sauce. While it's not the best most mind-blowing pizza, it's a good place for a quick fix and a good place to order a bunch from. We got 15 pies for a big kids party and obviously it was a hit and they were right on time, pizzas were still hot, and survived the transport process. They made our celebration a successful one so thank you guys! Maybe if i'm in the area next time i'll try some of their other flavors/slices to get a feel for the rest of their offerings. Happened to be in the neighborhood and needed a quick bite. Who doesn't like a good slice of pizza? Place is simple with some tables and chairs. We opted for a slice of cheese pizza and the pineapple pizza. Oh mine, either we were hungry or the pizza was simply amazing! Large slice and the crust was crunchy. First time ever writing a Yelp review but my experience was so bad I need to make sure others know about this.. This place is horrible. I ordered 3 buffalo chicken slices on Slice. I open the box and see 3 of the most horrible slices of pizza I have ever seen. The smell was just awful and the appearance was even worse. I take one little nibble just to see what it tasted like and it tasted as horrible as I imagined it would. The pizza was 90% buffalo sauce, 5% disgusting chicken, 5% pizza. I immediately asked Slice for a full refund. They contacted this establishment and this place said they need to send someone over to inspect the pizza (???? never heard of this in my life). Having been up and down 108th Street for many years, last week was my first stop in at Corona Pizza. Reason being, with all of the wonderful empanada places, pizza never enters into my eating equation. Not exceptionally busy, so the regular slices behind the glass looked like they had been hanging around a while, but I went with two anyway. Looking around inside as I waited, there were signs of a lack of cleanliness as two tables remained uncleared and a few strewen napkins below. True, the customers should pick up after themselves but when they don't, its up to the workers to hop on it quickly. The slice was too doughy and I was feeling quite lethargic after consuming slice number one, worse so after slice number two. Perhaps the dough needed too be needed and rolled more, but it was a belly bomb that I intend to avoid hence forth. read more

This place is not what it used to be, customer service wise, mainly. There used to be a very nice older lady there, I'm assuming the manager or owner; she made sure the store was running properly and she always had a smile. I haven't seen her for a while, and hope she's okay and if retired, good for her! However now that she's gone, the staff is rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. When calling they put you on hold and then just hang up the phone. They forget orders made and they are very snarky when talking to you. The cheese pizza is okay tasting but at least the size is good for the price they are charging. I don't like the taste of their pepperoni. It's either too spicy or taste like raw meat. The only other good thing is the fettuccine Alfredo. But sometimes sauce has been runny. Their garlic knots are always burnt and have way too much garlic, and their zeppoles always feel like leftovers from a day or two before. Not fresh at all. The meat from the lasagna doesn't have a good taste...and also tastes like raw meat. At least when I've had it. read more

I wanted to like this place soooo bad. They have lots of variety, and I like being able to order multiple flavors since you can order by the slice. I ordered bbq chicken, buffalo chicken and pepperoni. I honestly did not even bother eating the pepperoni. Because the pizza that was delivered to me was clearly old. All three slices were lukewarm, the crust had gotten hard that it was a struggle to chew, and it was just not the beat experience. I ate half, threw half away. I do not know how old it was but I was damn hungry. Sigh. Maybe I would try again if I happen to walk by and have a hankering for pizza. But I certainly would not recommend delivery. Pizza is cooked perfectly, always fresh and hot. Never had my food served burnt or cold. The workers there are very nice, respectful and polite. I used to frequent this pizzeria in the mid to late 90's, and since I was in the area I figured it was worth checking out. The pizza was not as good as I remembered it being. I had a regular slice and a Buffalo chicken slice. The reason for my low rating wasn't necessarily the quality of the food, which was by the way overly salty and not as fresh (appears to have been sitting in the display window for an extended period of time), but rather the level of the service. The kid running the register seemed to be occupied in carrying on a conversation with his buddy that sat across the restaurant in a booth. Also he was handling the food with his bare hands, the same bare hands that he was taking cash from customers with. Unfortunately I didn't notice this until after I sat down in a booth that was filled with crumbs on the seat and the table. I would have gave a higher rating if the booth was clean and I didn't see the kid handling the food with his bare hands. read more

Sicilian slices are gummy, plain slices are greasy and seem to use average cheese, sandwich's take a longggg time to be prepared, and the overall dark atmosphere (not mood lighting, just dark) dint seem to help. Luckily, Spaghetti Triangle (park with seating) is just across the street and you can take your order to go. And luckily ..... the Margherita slice!
