We were in NYC for a work conference and needed a quick lunch. We stumbled upon this place and I was so excited... NY style pizza! Being from Alabama, sadly, I've only ever had the usual pizza chains (Pizza Hut, Domino's, Papa John's, and of course... classic gas station pizza, Hunt Brothers). The employees were hard at work, moving quickly. The display case was already full of freshly made pizzas that were beautiful, IMO. I was with 4 other ladies and we all chose 2 slices each from the display case. The employee put them together and reheated them in the brick oven. (Insert incredulous redneck accent in my head, "man, Pizza Hut ain't got brick ovens like 'at down in Alabama!" ) Don't worry, I played it mostly cool on the outside. I chose a slice of Chicken Buffalo and (I think) a pepperoni/chicken/bacon? All I know is that they were both wonderful, especially the Buffalo. I loved how they didn't have much sauce and the crust was chewy, not-too-thick, not-too-thin. I was also thrilled they had Coke Zero, my favorite drink. Overall, service was fast, food was delicious and convenient. Maybe it's not the most epic NY style pizza to locals, but to this Alabama girl, it was fantastic and I'm still raving about it to everyone.

The pizza here was standard, it was nothing too special and tasted like a NY slice. I ordered 2 drinks 2 pepperoni slices and 1 Sicilian slice which came up to $13.50. Seating area was what you will expect in a pIzza place and the litigar was not boring but not dark. I'll go back again if I'm in the area, but it's not place that I'll go out of my way to get to.

Not bad; def have had better but this is a spot if you want affordable NY style slices. I will say that the crust was not crispy/crunchy and is a bit thicker than many other nyc pizza spots. The dough is a little chewier but not undercooked; the slice itself is quite cheese dominant, and then you get the toppings, and then a little bit of the tomato sauce. While it's not the best most mind-blowing pizza, it's a good place for a quick fix and a good place to order a bunch from. We got 15 pies for a big kids party and obviously it was a hit and they were right on time, pizzas were still hot, and survived the transport process. They made our celebration a successful one so thank you guys! Maybe if i'm in the area next time i'll try some of their other flavors/slices to get a feel for the rest of their offerings. But they're a good local addition to the area.

The crust was very good on this pizza. Soft, chewy and crunchy. The sauce was sweet and tangy. The cheese on the pizza was very chewy and salty, probably imitation cheese. It took away from the pizza. Mera's Tip: enjoy the crust

Happened to be in the neighborhood and needed a quick bite. Who doesn't like a good slice of pizza? Place is simple with some tables and chairs. We opted for a slice of cheese pizza and the pineapple pizza. Oh mine, either we were hungry or the pizza was simply amazing! Large slice and the crust was crunchy. We were surprised how good they were. If you ever crave for a good slice of pizza, this place would not disappoint. Staff was friendly and service was quick. PS: no restrooms inside the store.

First time ever writing a Yelp review but my experience was so bad I need to make sure others know about this.. This place is horrible. I ordered 3 buffalo chicken slices on Slice. I open the box and see 3 of the most horrible slices of pizza I have ever seen. The smell was just awful and the appearance was even worse. I take one little nibble just to see what it tasted like and it tasted as horrible as I imagined it would. The pizza was 90% buffalo sauce, 5% disgusting chicken, 5% pizza. I immediately asked Slice for a full refund. They contacted this establishment and this place said they need to send someone over to inspect the pizza (???? never heard of this in my life). The dude arrives, looks at the pizza and tells me it's fine and they will not give me a refund. Tell me, world. Do you think this pizza looks good?

Really good neighborhood pizza shop. When places all over the country advertise themselves as "New York pizza," this is what they're trying to be. Was tipped off by a friend who used to deliver the mail in the neighborhood. Great stop for a lunch slice (or 2) while visiting the park (1 block away), or before a Met game (1 stop up on the 7 train, 111th st). You can't go wrong with a slice here

Typical Mozarella stick that normal people eat

This place is great but wow the Mozarella sticks are so bad it's laughable like I was craving some all day and for some reason I thought every place did them the same, but nope this place takes the cake for the worst moz sticks I've ever had. OH well good food just DO NOT GET THE MOZARELLA STICKS

Decent price for the pizza. Busy joint. Only a few staff speaks English. Convenient take out if you are having a party at the park.

Haven't had any pizza like this since Pizza Palace on Bayard Street by Columbus Park closed. Easy to eat half a pie by oneself. Crispy, thin crust, perfect amount of sauce and oil (about 2 drips per plain slice, not drowning, but reminds you that this is true NYC pizza), lightly cheesed, but still has a good stringy mozzarella pull. For a similar, but slightly thicker (100% yum factor) NYC slice, it's Manos in Ridgewood. For, the thinnest and crispiest plain slice in NYC, Louie's is the standard bearer. Parked in front, ordered a whole pie, ran inside, threw down some cash, waited outside for the fresh pie to bake. 10 minutes later the owner (possibly Louie hisself) delivers the fresh pie to my car outside and actually thanks me. True Twilight Zone stuff. I scarf a fresh, hot slice straight from the carton before stowing the balance back to Long Island for additional reheat confirmation. With all the political nonsense ongoing, thank Goodness that a righteous, NYC plain slice is still alive, well and residing in un-hipster, un-gentrified, un-apologetically friendly-neighborhood Spiderman Elmhurst. "Best NYC style pizza" is a term that is minimized and bandied about every time some new $60, limited-run, kraft pizza from Japan is the current darling. We submit that this is not the case here. May Louie's be here after all the LES, deep dish, 3 Michelin star bakers and pizza itamae have exhausted their day in the limelight - and leases. $20 all-in (until the hipster masses beat a path here to make Louie's their pizza crusade ) Thank you Louie for giving us working class masses the best, true, unlimited, unpretentious, no-lines, no soup Nazi, no upsell, satisfyingly NYC pizza a $20 can still buy. PS: please don't renovate or move as your pizzeria is a time-capsule whose prime ingredient is sincerity.

Busy, active and definitely for the community given the notes, decorations. I always wanted to stop by here for a slice after watching the owner and father's heroic effort protecting an Asian lady who was being robbed in front of their store. Slice was solid at $3. OK looking undercarriage but limited floop. Only knock is bottom had too much flour remaining. Solid neighborhood spot. People were getting pasta dishes too. Ample seating. Friendly staff.

Particularly considering their cooking on a gozney oven stuffed into a food cart. It's actually a gas fired oven so it's more wood oven style. But that matters little for the taste. I went with a pepperoni and asked to add hongos to which the pizzaolo obliged my request. About 5 minutes later I was handed a piping hot pie and charged $14. But it was only after my first bite when I knew what a steal this is. The crust was nicely charred but also a delicate chew. The sauce is fresh, tangy with a great tomato flavor. The cheese must have had done parm sprinkled on because it was way for flavorful than mozz alone. And toppings tasted fresh and were plentiful. Impressive for sure. The block where the cart sits is super quiet with only a laundromat and another street vendor selling some leche de arroz. I'll have to wash my next pue down with sone of that next time. Nowhere to sit so it's more of a Togo or delivery setup. I'll def be ordering from here again in the future. I can't help think how much hype this cart would have in a more active and affluent area. But something about this cart serving pizza amongst a sea of tacos is so perfect. Keep Queens Real!

The price was super reasonable at $12-$15 a pie depending on the toppings and comes with 6 slices. This was really interesting and of course it had some heat. The sausage which I think was chorizo had a good texture and taste.
