My new go-to spot for pizza. When a pizza place does a plain cheese pie well, that's a plus. When they do their grandma pies well...that's heaven. I called in my order and got there a few minutes early before the estimated time. The place was busy with customers and kids when I walked in and when I got to the counter, I was greeted with a smile and the lady said that my pizza needed a few more minutes. I said no problem, paid and told her I would wait in the car since I was by the hydrant. I got a call and completely forgot and when I looked up, the lady had walked out with my pie and with that same warm smile. That's service and it was much appreciated. read more

Local neighborhood pizza joint with nice corner appeal. Steps from everything and public transportation so it's a good location. My kids and I were grabbing a late lunch after walking around the hood. We opted for this place as it was the first thing visible (big storefront and signage as seen in my pics). I ordered a few slices of pizza, naturally, as it's the only way to tell if the establishment is good. And the kids liked it a lot - lip smacking good. (My son is 11 but quite the foodie - ask my family and friends). I ordered my classic fav, a Jamaican beef patty with cheese. YUM. It was slightly brown on the top after being warmed up and still flaky. The cheese was gooey and delicious. I really wanted two but it was already too late in the day (3PM)...too close to dinner. I think it was the manager that served us - he was very polite - super nice and was prompt to deliver/fix/provide whatever I asked. As timing would have it, they ran out of napkins in the napkin holder, no problem, he refilled it straight away and handed me a nice stack. Also, while the utensils were not in plain sight, I know they would be readily available and poof! - he handed it to me straight away. And I asked for a plastic cup (wanted my two kids to share a bottle of Snapple) -- he gave me two! Talk about service. :-D I'll definitely return next time I'm in the hood. It's worth another visit to try the other menu items. I'm a sucker for good Italian food. Before I forget, one thing that is not cool but you should know - there's no restrooms!! (Ugh, Pizza is food you have to eat by hand - I firmly believe and likely said by every New Yorker)! read more

If you're in the area and looking for a good Margherita pizza this is the spot for you! The person working was friendly and prompt when taking my order. My slice was heated fairly quickly and it was delicious! Just look at all the mozzarella on it! Well worth the $4 paid. The interior was clean and there was a beautiful photo of Amalfi Coast Positano (which I mentally added to my list of travel destinations.) My favorite pizza spot around. They are great about listening to our unique request of different pizza toppings just with no cheese. Highly recommend chicken cutlet on a regular pie (and adding your own Buffalo and ranch for even more). Love their wings too - best wings I've had around here! So crispy and fresh. Sautéed spinach and broccoli are great sides, and don't skip on their salads if you're feeling healthy. Chicken francese and parm are also great. We order here at least once a week. Well let me say I have stopped my search. This place is consistently amazing, fresh, great tasting fast delivery friendly staff. The food tastes amazing. Five weeks in a row without hesitation I call and know there will be no problems. This week we ordered a calzone with our pizza, it was Big and crisp , not soggy and filled perfectly. $2.50 for a regular slice. Came here for the first time on a Sunday afternoon with a friend. We were starving and needed something real quick. So we each got a regular slice. It didn't take too long for the guy to heat it up, which was great cause we were tight on time. However, I would've preferred to have the slice in the oven a tadddbit longer--I like it when you take a bite and you see a stretched string of cheese hanging in between your bite and the slice. Nonetheless, it was good. Crust is thin and it had the right amount of sauce. It's clean inside and fairly spacious. But I wouldn't recommend coming here with a group of more than 4 people. read more

It's good local pizza. Vinny sold it a while ago. Not the same since he left. I stop here if I'm over here but I don't make the trip just for the pizza. Stopped by the other day. Hot inside. Won't be back until the fall. Hate spending my money at places that won't spend money on climate control. Update: Stopped in. It isn't bad pizza but it isn't what is was. AND it has the local Catholic school calendar up behind the cash register so you know he hooks up the kids. add a revolving door of stellar clientle all ushering in local news and gossip and this is a great spot. still victims of the Queens small slice curse, but at least they have a good Sicilian to make up for it. read more

They recently had a renovation and no longer looks like that 1 posted depressing picture. Their slices are good but sometimes a bit too doughy and not enough oven-time. However, their spaghetti and meatballs is awesome! The sauce tastes naturally sweet (other restaurants' sauces taste like they're sweetened) and they use angel hair that allows you to taste the sauce and meatballs simultaneously. When you forget to buy mozz for your lasagna, Vinny will let you buy a pound and it's the best cheese you've ever had. When you're hit with a snow storm, knee or thigh high, guess who's open? I've never actually been inside of here, but I've ordered from here a few times in the past few months, and I think it's the best pizza place that currently delivers to my parents' home in the Murray Hill section of Flushing. Good, standard NY-style pies. Deliveries have always been super prompt as well, and I like that they have their own reward system where after a certain number of pies, you can redeem your cards for a free pie.
