Pleasantly surprise to this pizzeria. A good option in the neighborhood if craving for pizza. There is a small and cute dining area inside that even stopping by for a quick bite is worth staying. It has Big window with a good view of crossed streets Francis Lewis blvd/Union turnpike. Enjoyed our Mediterranean Sicilian pizza. It may not be the thin crust we are longing but a descent replacement for our pie craving. We tried their buffalo wings as side, quite spicy for me, less salty and they totally forgot my carrot and celery as part of the appetizer order. Nevertheless, this place is a good pick for pizza. Their menu offers more than pizza. My new go to pizzeria .

Very solid neighborhood pizza spot. More than enough room to dine in but also super quick and easy pickup to go process. The plain and Margherita slices were tasty and had some great texture to the crust. Their pepperoni pinwheel was my favorite bite of the order especially with an extra order of their homemade sauce. The sicilian was slightly undercooked but had great taste nonetheless due to the toppings.

Hands down the worst pizza I have had in my life absolutely disgusting! Looks fake and taste even worse!!! This is the God's honest truth !! How are they open !

Some of the worst pizza i have ever had in my life honestly. I dont know how people enjoy places that dont clean the ovens and sell pizza with burnt oven goo on the bottom highly do not reccomend as this is inedible

Wanted To Try This Spot. Pizza Isn't That Expensive. $20.00 For A Large Pie. $2.00/Toppings. The Service Was Good. Hence The Four Stars. The Pizza Was A Miss. Not What I Was Craving. Haven't Had Pizza In Like A Year And This Wasn't It. Local Spot, I May Go Back Or Just Go Somewhere Else.

It immediately gave me that cozy, old school neighborhood Italian restaurant feel, almost like the set of Cheers. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and packed with people. I ordered the Short Rib Pappardelle and the Grilled Lamb Chops, and both were a 10/10. The pasta was rich and flavorful, and the lamb chops were cooked perfectly. Even my brother, who's a very picky eater, thoroughly enjoyed his meal. The food smelled so incredible on the drive home that I was honestly tempted to pull over and eat it in the car. For takeout, you exit the main entrance and walk around the corner to the back of the building, where they have a separate area serving pizza and other quick bites. When I arrived around 5:30 p.m., the restaurant was bustling, and the takeout counter was lined with orders waiting to be picked up. They also offer outdoor dining. While I was waiting, I noticed the portions being served to diners at the bar, and they definitely don't skimp. The servings are generous, which makes the value even better. It's easy to see why this place is such a neighborhood favorite. Great food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be making the drive from Brooklyn again.

We were started with complimentary focaccia bread with pesto sauce for the table. Since we are a family of 4, we decided to share the appetizer fried calamari, arancini, eggplant polpette & beet salad to start. It was great to share & try a bit of everything. Everything was great. I personally ordered the short rib ragu pappardelle. The cheese on top was great. There was a good amount of meat inside. It tasted okay. Overall, this restaurant serves good food. The food came out in a timely manner. Only minor complaint was that the restaurant was quite loud. Since the space is small filled with so many tables, all we can hear was the chatter of people around us. Also since there were a constant flow of people, the servers were so busy walking around that we had to wait a few extra minutes to reach them.

The owner David is so welcoming. I told him that I want to try taco at 9AM. He immediately made me two tacos for breakfast without questions. They are so tasty and fresh with reasonable price of $9. You can't find better than that. As a crazy fan for Mexican bread conchas, I have to say it is a little too dry for me. However, pineapple muffins are moist and delish. Real pineapple pieces are inside. Strongly recommended it, especially the flavor of pineapple is rarely found. The store sells Italian food -pizza and pasta as well, and I'm surely going back for dinner.

And I am glad I did The chefs are from Mexico and had been working in Italian restaurants in Manhattan for many years I decided to go Mexican this time. The beef taco with delicious savory chunks of beef, along with onions and cilantro and the necessary lime and radishes were flavorful and yummy like the tacos served on carts in the streets of Tlaxcala. The shrimp taco was full of chunks of shrimp and tomatoes. Also tried the chicken quesadilla on a delicious corn tortilla, full of chicken, tomatoes, sour cream and other goodies If you like spicy, you will love the red salsa and the green salsa, but the salsa made with peanuts is unbelievably delicious For dessert, since they had sold out of Tres Leches cake, I ended up going Italian and enjoyed a delicious cannoli with its crunchy shell and sweet creamy filling with chocolate chips I will be back to try some other Mexican cuisine and the Italian specialities

This is my wife's supermarket of choice. I kind of prefer Stop & Shop, which I recently reviewed,…read morebecause I'm more cost-conscious - uh, in other words, cheap. Overall, Marino's seems a little more expensive. The Deli, for example, seems to have higher prices than most, but I think it's reflected in the quality. However, the OUI yogurt was cheaper at Marino's so it helps to know your prices. Marino's is a lot smaller than S&S, but they do a good job stocking the store. In my last review of S&S, I mentioned they did not have capers, filet mignon, or Marino's coconut Italian ice. Marino's Supermarket did have the capers and filet mignon. And although they did not have the coconut Italian ice, they did have the orange and rainbow flavors which S&S did not. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. Perhaps, if you have a large family, S&S is the better option. For smaller food shopping sprees, Marino's definitely is a good choice. 5 stars for Marino's.

Placing the order: It was fairly easy to place our order though it was a tad slow. The person taking our order was multitasking and put us on hold a few times. That was a little annoying, but otherwise seamless. They charged our credit card for our order shortly thereafter. We called to confirm our order the day before. Everything was confirmed. Morning of the event: About 10 minutes from our scheduled delivery time, Marino's Supermarket called to tell me they were going to be 30-45 minutes late because they forgot a part of our order. They were making it as we spoke, hence I took a star away. I asked if they could deliver the order without it, but the person said they were already working on it. Luckily the party was mostly family, otherwise it would have been a big issue. They sent one person for delivery for a 15 person party. The poor guy had to take at least 3-4 trips up to our apartment to bring everything up. The food: Everything tasted great and was nicely presented. The cost: Very reasonably priced in my opinion Overall: They were OK. I hope the snafu with our missing item was a one off because otherwise they were great!
