I have to start out by saying their corn beef hash is phenomenal! Truly fresh corned beef with bell pepper, onions, and potatoes. From the first bite, you know this is homemade and it was outstanding!. I have become a snob with corned beef, hash, and I think I just found my favorite, worth a 30 minute drive for sure. Today we had the long-term server, Marcia, who was very knowledgeable but short with time because they were busy. She was friendly and helpful. The biscuits I have to say were not my favorite and I was not a fan of them. First, I don't like them grilled. I've never seen that before and second they were bread more than biscuits. I guess I'm spoiled because I like buttermilk biscuits and this was definitely not it. However, Marcia was very kind and brought me a biscuit that was not grilled however still was not a fan. There was a little bit too much baking powder in it because it had a bitter aftertaste. I love to feel at the diner, reminds me of those from when I lived in upstate New York. This is the closest we're gonna get to a diner in Florida!

A true Diner experience with a southern twist. I've been here before and the menus has been updated and the service remain intact. My wife ordered an omelette with ham, onions and Gouda cheese. The taste was soo good with the smoky Gouda. I had the classic eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was really good. My favorite is the grits but that's me. I'm a sucker for southern grits. Considering we went during a holiday weekend, we were able to get outside seating with no issues. Service is great and very friendly Can't wait to come back. See you soon

Hubby and I went for early lunch. Hubby had breakfast eggs hash browns bacon and biscuit. He enjoyed it I had the tuna melt it was delish. This is second time coming here. We visited last year also and they are very consistent. Across from Flagler college. And they have a parking lot. Highly recommend.

Very good diner. Small menu but lots of choices. Great service and loved the vibe. Ample free parking. Would definitely recommend this dinner. Only open for breakfast and lunch. Closes at 3pm

Old school diner vibes with some great bites! Stopped here for breakfast on a Saturday morning so it was definitely busy. They do have a parking lot but it is small. Might get a little difficult to find parking at times. The inside of the restaurant was full, but we were able to get a table outside. The outside area was very nice and clean. The breeze from the water also made it feel cool. The inside of the restaurant is very cute with a classic retro feel. Service is great and the staff is very friendly. They took our orders quick and checked up on us. Food didn't take too long to come out. I went with the special omelette which was gouda, ham, and onions. The omelette was delicious and extremely flavorful. The gouda was smoked, which added even more flavor. Very delicious. All the omelettes are served with an option of a side of hash browns, home fries or grits and choice of toast or biscuit. It definitely is a large portion and you will be full. Great spot!

Quick breakfast on November 1st, 2025 Cool looking dinner with a solid crowd, but we were quickly seated. I ordered the meat lover omelette it was fair to good, nothing special. Came with grits, very average. My wife ordered the corned beef hash plate with a biscuit. Hash was very good, biscuit was very good also came with hash browns (not so good). Total was $42 pre tip. A bit pricey for what it was, but overall fine.

2 Two Eggs any Style With biscuit and grits Added the sausage gravy on the side and it was the star of the show!!!!

Classic diner breakfast, also had Greek options and fantastic specials. The service was friendly and our food came out quickly. The sausage gravy was unbelievable and my husband complimented how fresh the ingredients were on his lox bagel. Ambiance felt like we were back in time. Highly recommend!

Awesome. Yummy!! Michelle was our fab waitress, told us the specials... all corned beef they make from scratch!!! Hubby had the Rueben and a vanilla Dr Pepper, I had eggs, bacon, pancake. Fantastic!!! It's clean, fun and delicious!!!! We go try a new place every week or so from Jax and can't wait to go back!!! It was so good, I forgot pix!! The inside is actually an old diner. Very wonderful staff!! Thanks Michelle!

Clean Diner... Friendly Service! Food was good. Coffee is nice and strong! Yummy Biscuits! Home fries were my least favorite food on the plate. Melissa was a great server!

Lamb gyro

I love trying out diner food in new places and Georgie's did not disappoint. They have a very lengthy menu with specials like lobster bisque -- something you wouldn't see at a regular diner. My husband and I went for brunch and we had a pretzel with cheese as an appetizer, which was really good. My husband ordered a lamb gyro and I had the corned beef hash with eggs. The amount of food that they give you is ridiculous (in a good way). We could have both just shared one dish. Both, the gyro and corned beef hash were delicious. My husband had some iced coffee and he didn't like it, so maybe there's room for improvement there. However, the food and the service were very good. I would go back there to try the lobster bisque and other dishes. Regarding the ambiance, we sat outside because we had our dogs with us. It was a hot day, but they had fans outside which helped tremendously. The server also brought a big water bowl for our pups. Having parking on site is also a big plus.

So so fun!

Loved loved Georgie's. Took me back in time. So courteous. The staff was so sweet and caring. The restaurant itself was so cool and clean. The food was delicious. I ordered the turkey club with tater tots, a coke (which comes only in a glass bottle) and water. So much food, very filling.

Late breakfast at Georgie's. They have their own parking lot which is convenient. Today I'm having a waffle. Wife a western omelette. 2 in the afternoon plenty of seats.

We were in town for a long weekend for a concert and stayed at the Embassy Suites down the street…read more I was on Instagram and this place popped up on my feed - decided to give it a try! Glad we did! We ended up walking there and it was easy to get to. When we walked inside, we were able to get a table inside right away. It was clean and cutely decorated. Our server came by quickly and got our drink and food order in. I ordered the breakfast tacos (comes with 2 good sized tacos) - sooooooooo good! They hit the spot! What got me... it had goat cheese on it! It was delicious. My husband got the fish tacos and he said they were good too! Definitely a great place for breakfast and lunch if you're in the area!! Apparently they have some great bloody mary's too!

For our visit this time they said about a 30 minute wait which was actually 20 minutes. The vibe of the place is very cool with the old jukebox and a bar as well as tables both inside and outside. We were seated outside this visit which was fine as it was shady. I had the corned beef has with hash browns and 2 sunny side eggs. The corned beef is full of shredded corned beef with just a small amount of potatoes. The hash browns with onions were nice and crispy as I asked and the eggs were cooked nicely with the right amount of run when broken. My wife has the Classic Breakfast which is somewhat similar to what I had but with no meat. Hers was done nicely too. Thanks for a nice visit and see you the next time we're back to St. Augustine Beach!

I am visiting from out of town and, after hearing so many rave reviews, was excited to get to visit…read morethe Floridian tonight. We were seated in a large dining area with soft lighting. Our booth was next to a wall with several paintings containing various sailboats. As I looked at the menu, I realized there were several tasty looking options. The burger had pimento cheese which sounded AWESOME. Man. My mouth was watering just thinking about it. Came with a free side too. But another menu item caught my eye. A dish called the "N'Waffles." This is where things took a sharp turn. I began going back and forth in my mind - weighing the potential pros and cons of each dish. The burger was, well, a burger. And the "N'Waffles" was cornbread and meat with ricotta. Sounded a bit more novel maybe? The waiter came back, and, when I am trying to decide between two things, I always impulsively order one of them at the last second. Before I even knew what I had decided, I heard "N'Waffles" coming out of my mouth. No one talks about how weird it feels to say that word out loud, by the way. I asked the waiter if I should get chicken or pork BBQ. After hesitating for a second, he said the pork. So, I went with the pork. He walked away, and I was flooded with regret. Should I have ordered the burger? Should I have got the chicken? Could I track down the waiter and revise my order? Instead, I silently accepted my fate. As I was waiting, I felt a foreign object in my eye. I blinked and blinked but to no avail. I had to go to the bathroom three times to try to rinse it out. Each time, I accidentally bumped into the table of this couple sitting next to us. Nice bathroom, but not great lighting for trying to get something out of your eye. Never did get it out. The "N'Waffles" arrived at our table. I looked down to a pile of meat on a waffle, all covered in copious amounts of sauce. I mean no offense to the institution, because I actually like it, but it did not look appetizing. It also smelled like a wet dog. I grimaced and tried to remain positive. My stomach growled as I thought about that delicious burger...pimento cheese...green tomato..mmm. But that's not what I was eating - I was eating a pile of meat drowned in sauce on a cornbread waffle. Listen. I know some people like stuff like this, but it's just not for me. Even though I had something stuck in my eye and I had slop on a waffle for dinner, I still had a great time. The waiter was nice. They were playing some good indie music which I appreciated. I liked the sailboats on the walls. And I bet that burger was gooood. All in all though, I left a bit disappointed. Disappointed, but determined. Determined to learn from my mistakes. Listen kids, don't second guess yourself. Go with what your gut tells you first and don't change it. This is true for multiple choice questions, relationships, and food choices. You know what you want more than you realize. And maybe don't order something called the "N'Waffles." I would still recommend this place. You should totally go.

The Floridian in St. Augustine was an absolutely fantastic experience. They recently reopened in…read moretheir new location, and the space is beautiful -- stylish, welcoming, aesthetically gorgeous, and just full of great energy. The service was excellent, and the food has that fresh, thoughtful, farm-to-table feel where you can tell care is going into what comes out of the kitchen. For me, one of the biggest highlights was how seriously they take gluten-free dining. I had warm, made-from-scratch gluten-free biscuits with pork belly and a peach bourbon jam, and oh my goodness -- absolutely to die for. Everyone at the table enjoyed them. It is not often that you find a gluten-free biscuit that feels like you are getting the full experience rather than settling for an alternative. I was also impressed by how many gluten-free options they offer. Even their po' boy can be battered with rice flour. Our waiter explained that the chef is gluten-free and that they are very mindful of guests with celiac disease, including separating food preparation when needed. That level of care is a huge plus. And it wasn't just the gluten-free food that impressed us. One friend ordered the meatloaf sandwich and received a seriously hearty piece of meatloaf. My husband had the BLT with pimento cheese on thick sourdough bread, and it was excellent. We also heard that the chicken and waffles, offered during dinner, are a must-try -- so that may be calling us back! The cocktail menu was another win. The drinks were creative, original, flavorful, and clearly thoughtfully crafted rather than just the standard options you see everywhere. Everyone in our group seemed genuinely happy with what they ordered, which says a lot. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, creative drinks, fantastic food, and some of the best gluten-free options I've come across. Five stars all the way. I would absolutely return to The Floridian and work my way through more of that gluten-free menu!

The inside is just as impressive with it's "oil and gas" theme, it's rather small but we were able to get seated without a wait even though it was nearly filled. The staff here was very inviting and attentive, the menu is also themed and fairly priced, we ordered "The Ford Galaxie" two eggs your way, a choice of meats, choice of toast or biscuits and home fries or grit - although the winner here in my opinion is the coffee it's delicious, strong and robust. Unfortunately everything here wasn't perfect the "West Creek Whipped Spread Butter Blend" is an abomination, it ruined everything we put it on, my bad for not asking for real butter after applying it to my toast, my grits and the English Muffin we ordered, it was inedible to the point we left everything on the plate this stuff touched it wasn't refrigerated as suggested on the label I'm guessing. I usually eat only real butter so what was I thinking - so my dilemma is how do I review this place fairly based on that stuff and the fact it ruined our food since we loved everything else. Well I guess they'll get three stars for now and I'll return and maybe bring my own butter because this place is a place you really want to love...

Long waits are common for this spot. The interior is the old Ice Plant so it has great character. Not super large so limited dining spots within. Very high ceilings and though there were plenty of diners, it was overly loud. Great spot to enjoy the company you are with! Our server was top notch, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly but not trying to monopolize our table talk. We started with Cocktails which were all great. I went classic Old Fashioned, presentation AND taste were on point. We split the Crab Beignets order of 4. The breading on them was light and fluffy, the Crab tasty and they were cooked appropriately, no burns or underdone spots. For our main course, we elected to split 2 of the specials of the day so they may not be there when you go, but judging by the quality of the specials, any dish would be great. We had the Caesar Salad (which is like calling the Queen Mary2 a "boat"!). It is next level, 7 minute eggs, homemade croutons, Anchovie forward, all good! We also split an order of Shrimp Cake Sliders. These were huge, and the slaw that accompanied was the perfect match to the shrimp without overwhelming them. For dessert we settled on the Pineapple cake which also had coconut and all kinds of wonderful flavors going on! A really outstanding meal from beginning to end!
