We'll start off with the service at the table being good. That's the only reason I give 2 stars. We are told there's no sausage or eggs. Fine. We get to the line, and as I'm ready to substitute bacon for sausage, the bacon tray is pure scraps. I ask if there's any more bacon, and the guy goes in the back to bring some out. I finish putting the rest of the things I wanted in my bowl, and go back to put the bacon. I'm then confronted by a Hispanic lady saying that we are not allowed to go back after putting veggies. I explain that I was waiting on the bacon, then I look down and there's no bacon. She proceeds to say the bacon is for online orders only. ???????? I really dislike how they point out the size of a bowl, so you order it, and then when they bring you your bowl, more than half of the front of the bowl is missing...... so you literally can't fill the bowl you thought you were buying. We have been looking for another genghis grill since ours in longview had closed down years ago, when we came across this location. It was amazing! Unlike some of the other locations around the Dallas metroplex they had a fully stocked meats/veggies section. It wasn't too busy but it was just as good as we remembered it. We haven't been to a Genghis Grill in many years since they closed our local one and we were excited to have lunch at one when we were passing through. Things have changed since we last tried it but we were still able to have the option of a custom made bowl which is what my family chose to do. It was as good (or better) than we remembered! The food quality was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. The price was good for the amount of food we received and we even had leftovers for another meal later.
