The staff was Super nice and accommodating! Def tip them well!!! Now the food has changed. They no longer offer spinach and potatoes which isn't good for my Vegetarian daughter and she's why we came. I really dislike how they point out the size of a bowl, so you order it, and then when they bring you your bowl, more than half of the front of the bowl is missing...... so you literally can't fill the bowl you thought you were buying. We were first to take our food to the grill yet last to receive or food only after we got upset and decided to leave the location. When I was introduced to this place by my friend I had to do my research and check out the reviews first. I'd never eating at one of these restaurants before in all of my years of living and being a lover of fine foods, and amazing cuisines. My friend had to explain to me out the ordering process worked. Once seated, the server will ask, If you'd like noodles, rice (there's No brown rice) but they do have Quinoa. You then receive a Small, Medium Or Large Bowl prices may vary. Next you'll receive a little silver bowl to gather up all your fixings from the plethora of options available at the buffet style meat, fish, vegetables, and sauce's selections. Once you've finished with the ingredients you'll leave your tray, receipt, and sauces on the hibachi style table for the cooks to prepare. Finally after the completion this is the final step cookers and prepared to order. I'll definitely return...our server was just okay though. We have been looking for another genghis grill since ours in longview had closed down years ago, when we came across this location. It was amazing! Unlike some of the other locations around the Dallas metroplex they had a fully stocked meats/veggies section. It wasn't too busy but it was just as good as we remembered it. We haven't been to a Genghis Grill in many years since they closed our local one and we were excited to have lunch at one when we were passing through. Things have changed since we last tried it but we were still able to have the option of a custom made bowl which is what my family chose to do. It was as good (or better) than we remembered! The food quality was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. The price was good for the amount of food we received and we even had leftovers for another meal later. Overall this was an excellent lunch and I only wish this was closer to us so we could enjoy it more often. read more
