I ordered a to go chicken/rice, veggie and rice plate tonight. Everything was flavored and cooked well. The only thing I would complain about is the portion size of the rice..... I ran out of rice before anything else and that's usually the last thing left on my plate cause there's a good portion. Other than that it was okay and decently priced. read more

Extremely bad service. Only like 3 families in the restaurant and they are telling ALL that the wait time on to-go orders are 30+ minutes! No way they are short staffed like they are saying. They got like 4 cooks 2 of them standing around. I can't believe the servers are sayin this. I overheard a costumer siting down saying they haven't received their drink yet. Not to mention they aren't even cleaning the tables. Came in for the first time in a long time (and in a different state), and immediately went to the main line, to find out you have to order from a waitress first. Went back to the table with our "here's-how-you-make-em'" cards, and the waitress assumed we were ordering from the menu. So we sat, waiting for our bowls to make our own... and none came. Apparently we had ordered a meal that the cooks make and not one we pile on ourselves. Instead of allowing us to change our order (because I only used the card to get an idea of what I wanted to create), we got the, "oh, I'm sorry, they're already making it" statement from a different server. This food not only was wrong. My noodles should have been UDON INSTEAD I got theses nasty hard noodles. The meat had tones of fat. This whole order went in the trash. Service was great! We had Gina as our server today. We were greeted fast and everything was done in a timely matter.

Worst place ever. Was seated waited and waited for a server. They have a panel out on the ceiling with the pink insulation exposed.

This place has been here since I was in HS(almost 10 years) and still is fairly clean. Just a weird process, instead of having employees explain how it works- they should have more signage on how to order, pick food etc . They have an ingredient book in the area you order which is helpful but overall I wasn't crazy about the bowl I ordered or the price. Service was okay and lemonade was bomb. Nonetheless not dying to come back here but would. Food was decent and overall experience was decent I'd say. Location is right in the mall area which is great and makes it easily accessible right off the highway! I would say if you need an easy family meal or low traffic place to go to to even read a book, this may be your place. High protein meals with loads of options. read more

The food is great the service sucks. We stood at the host are for 20 mins and were not even acknowledged.

Terrible service. Smart mouthed employee named Alexander, and they are out of base menu items. We waited at the door for a while to be seated, and they were not even busy. They only brought 1 drink order. I had to ask for my drink twice before finally going to the bar to beg for it. The guy Alexander, who I had already asked for my drink, smarted off to me. It was apauling to be treated that way, especially since he was one of the ones who didn't bring my drink order. When my food was brought, there was no base item that I ordered. They were suddenly out. They didn't tell me that when I ordered. The kid was very matter of fact and unapologetic about it. If it weren't for Key, we would have walked out then. There are many Genghis Grills in the area, but this one is my favorite. The restaurant is cleaner than others, it doesn't smell like disinfectant like others (I'm looking at you GG in Firewheel), and the staff isn't as brooding as others (ditto, Firewheel GG). [As a side note, I've never understood why the servers at GG can be brooding... we're making the flipping food... all you have to do is bring it to us! Does it really suck that bad to work there?] Anyway... this GG is very good. The food is kept topped off, the sauces are filled, and the staff is kind. read more

I am very upset. Last night I ordered dinner for my family from the Genghis Grill in Mesquite. One the app yahll has sucks and the website isn't that much better. As I tried to coordinate a delivery from the restaurant it placed my order for pick up. So now I have to drive an hour round trip to pick up my order. We arrive at the restaurant at 9:39pm and head back home. We get home to uncover half of our meal is missing. This morning I call and speak to manager Xavier. He is saying I have to come back to the restaurant to receive a refund for the items I paid for but didn't receive. That is very inconvenient for me bc I don't live close to the restaurant and I didn't get what I paid for. I asked for the number for corporate. He gave me the incorrect phone number. This whole experience has me upset. One as a loyal customer that orders at least twice a month from this establishment and to not be accommodated I'm really frustrated. All I want is a refund for the items I didn't receive and I shouldn't have to come back up there. read more

The place is so dirty. That always makes me wonder about the kitchen. Of the three rows of trays, all three on top had food on them. One piece was 1" by 1". How could the cleaner or the person who brought them out not see that? Then, we had to dig through several sauce bowls to find a clean one. Made us wonder about the pans that the food was in.
