Ordered from Pei Wei on DoorDash and it totally hit the spot! I got the Original Shrimp and Thai Wonton Soup -- both were super fresh and full of flavor. The shrimp had that perfect sweet and spicy balance, and the veggies still had a nice crunch. I always add mushrooms, but sadly those were majorly lacking; I found 2 maybe 3 small half cut ones. We tried this pei Wei when they first opened about a year ago and wasn't impressed BUT we decided to give it a shot again being delivered. The pot stickers with the sauce are amazing. The edamame is good. Now to the meats and entrees .... Not good. The meat they use is fatty and tough. We hate fatty meat. So we had 3 meals where we simply at the rice and veggies for each plate. The meal came super fast which was accreditation goes to our delivery driver. That all said and we won't come back. They won't improve their meat used as it's sent in bulk I'm sure so we will not be back. read more

Very very disappointed in the order I picked up tonight. I always get lettuce cups as my side dish because they are usually so fresh. Tonight, every piece was brown and old. The Magnolia steak was so salty that it was inedible. And it was also the bottom of the pan, gristley and tough. 3 green beans and 2 small mushrooms. Truly, I threw the whole dish out. Every piece of the honey seared chicken was small and not fresh. Barely any sauce on the dish. Rice was the ultimate sticky. The crab wontons appeared and tasted like they had had been cooked and recooked. They were so hard that I have a cut on the top of my mouth behind my front teeth. I don't usually leave a review unless it is a steller compliment. But quite frankly, tonight was so awful that I had to say something. Also, it's a 35 minute drive to pick up food. Pei Wei Rockwall, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Preserving old food with salt is truly pathetic. And unhealthy. Felt like getting some chicken pad Thai and was unfortunately disappointed in the flavor. All aspects of the dish were lacking. I do not know if they changed their recipe but something is different. Pei Wei is a cheaper fast food version of P.F. Changs. I haven't been to Pei Wei in about 15 years so when I saw the Grand Opening sign, I decided to stop here for lunch. If you love chicken, there are a ton of options but if you're like me and don't eat chicken, your limited to a few beef dishes, veggie and tofu dishes. Since Mongolian Beef is my favorite dish at P. F. Changs, I decided to try Pei Wei's version. I also opted for no veggies in my rice. After Zoraya handed me my food, she told me to take a look at packets of sauce on display and I grabbed two packets of sweet chili and left. When I arrived home and opened my container, the Mongolian beef didn't have any scallions. My dish looked nothing like the picture on the wall. In their defense, I did ask her to remove the mushrooms so maybe she accidentally removed the scallions too. After taking a bite of my food I was kind of disappointed. My dish had the taste of a teriyaki dish and the beef was not tender. I ended up eating the edges of most of the beef and throwing out the rest. I couldn't wait to taste my egg roll. I took a few bites and the egg roll was ok but not the best. I noticed that there were mushrooms in my egg roll. I don't eat mushrooms so I had to open my egg roll and pick out the remainder of mushrooms. I might come back one day and if I do, I will try their veggie egg rolls and beef and broccoli. My daughter and I went for dinner tonight. Service was fast and friendly. Food came out piping hot. Had to wait till it cooled to eat it. Would highly recommend. I haven't visited pei Wei in over 5 years. I was excited to visit this location for a nostalgic dish Little did I know poor customer service was free with my meal. It's unfortunate to know employees assume and judge you while ordering your food. While ordering my food I heard the employees talking about me in Spanish. Sadly, their rude comments did not fall on deaf ears as I am fluent in Spanish. I continued ordering and ate my food in total disappointment and disgust. This is no way to treat a customer, purposefully disrespecting them in another language. I lovingly defended Pei Wei and the PF Chang's franchise. After this experience I won't be going back and warning others of such poor treatment. read more
