Jenny's Nails & Spa is fortunate to receive a 1-star review from me. Do NOT be fooled by the other high ratings; I do not understand why so many customers have given this place high ratings when the customer service is poor. I came in (approx.. 5:45pm) for a pedicure & was told it would be about a 10 minute wait which I was fine with; the manager / owner (Jenny) did have an employee seat me on a pedicure chair within the 10 minutes as promised (5:55pm) Sounds good, right? Unfortunately, the visit went downhill from there. The employee excused herself for "5 minutes" bcuz she was finishing up a customer's polish job which ended up being 10 minutes but I was ok with that as my feet was soaking in the warm water. The employee returned & apologized before she took one foot out and took the polish off at which point the customer she had just finished happened to mess up her manicure & polish. The customer told Jenny who then called the employee & asked asked how much longer the pedicure would take & the employee replied she finished taking the polish off one foot. Jenny told the employee to fix the polish; the employee said sorry again & asked for another "5 minutes" to fix the polish (as if I had an option). The employee told me to continue soaking my feet; she finally came back at 6:20pm to start removing the polish off my other foot. Jenny was working on her own customer but asked the employee at this time if she was almost done with the pedicure yet. WTH?!?! The employee said that she barely was done taking the polish off both of my feet. Jenny seemed surprised & actually turned around to my employee & asked why us it taking so long? It's already been 20 minutes & told the employee she had 10 minutes to finish up. Again, WTH!?! I sat & observed & listened to the exchange & was getting more upset the more I heard Jenny's verbal barrage to the employee. The employee working on me seemed a bit frustrated but continued working on my feet. After she finished pushing the cuticles on both my feet, Jenny, again, asked if the pedicure was done bcuz it had been 30 minutes & said to hurry up & finish in 10 minutes bcuz other customers were waiting. At this point, I had had it. I asked the employee politely to let Jenny know I wanted to speak with her. The employee told Jenny this & Jenny griped to herself , "It's so busy I can't even eat without being interrupted. What does she want?" I waited til Jenny spoke first & she was "polite" and asked what I needed. I greeted Jenny & said that the employee working on my pedicure was doing a good job even though she was interrupted so many times. Keep in mind that prior to this moment, I had only spoken to them in English while Jenny & her employee(s) spoke Vietnamese to each other. I, then, changed languages to Vietnamese & told Jenny in no uncertain terms that I was upset at the lack of professionalism on Jenny's part as the manager & owner. I explained that not only had I heard but understood everything she had said since I stepped foot into the salon. I did NOT appreciate her continually interrupting my service & rushing the employee by telling her the pedicure needs to be done in 10 minutes. I came in @ 5:45pm, seated at 5:55pm; 6:05pm - 6:10pm polish removed from one foot; employee returns @ 6:20pm to remove polish from other foot & continue with pedicure. Jenny flustered as she started to realize that I was speaking to her in Vietnamese. She apologized & said I misunderstood; that she only wanted to know how far into the service the employee had completed. I told her that I did not misunderstand bcuz I speak & understand Viet just as well as any of her employees. Not to mention, I had managed the nail services for an "American" Day Spa so I am familiar with professional & courteous service to clients & colleagues & Jenny did NOT exhibit either when she did what she did to the employee working on my pedicure. Jenny proceeded to say that I should make an appt next time so that my pedicure will not be rushed. WTH!?! I should not have to make an appt so that the service will not be rushed. From this point on til my pedicure was completed, Jenny did not say anything to the employee nor me. Through the service, the employee was nice & tried to calm me down. Even when, I paid & left, she did not say "Bye" as she did with the other customers (even) when she was doing soneone's nails, she'd say, "Bye & Thank you" to them. Her husband was at the first station & took care of the payment & apologized but also repeated that next time to make an appt. With all the choices available, I will NOT return to this salon unless major changes happen. I posted 2 pics of (1) gel fill with design; (2) pedicure with design (both are from a different salon that has professional & friendly employees & management); both services were done about 10 days ago but look as pretty as the day I had them done. read more

I usually talk very highly about this establishment. I sent my 2 best friends to the shop for a treat yo self girls time. My best friend had her nails done by Andy & they were a mess. Within 2 hours they were falling apart with black glitter everywhere. We decided to wait till the next morning to get them fixed. We walk in to ask for Andy & Mae who is someone who has done my manis before rudely tells my friend that she won't fix them. They are too busy. Andy had told my best friend if she didn't like him to come back tomorrow & get them fixed. I walked out & walked back in and asked how long it would take. An older women ignored me, answered the phone that was non stop ringing & offered someone an apt in 15 minutes. I won't be coming back here. I've put up with a lot from this place, but not anymore. Jennys Nails, you are a disappointment of an establishment. From Jenny & Andy rudely fighting nonstop, to error on error. I will NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN. I honestly don't understand why I came back after my last bad visit. Last time I came for a mani pedi and the girl cut me so bad she even felt horrible that she kept apologizing to me, and I still had to pay full price, ridiculous! And this time it was late and I had no choice but to come here, bad idea!!! First Ana was assigned to me and I asked for a mani pedi, I arrived at 6:30 and they don't close until 7:30. So at 7:10 Ana realized that she still hadn't started on my mani. So she started asking for help but no one wanted to help her because it was almost time to close and everyone wanted to go home. But the owner made another girl named Michelle help Ana out. 7:30 came around and Ana was done with my pedicure and decided to leave, making another lady stay with Michelle to close the store, Ana should have stayed with her to help her since it was Ana's fault she was staying after hours. Then Michelle has the nerve to tell me how next time I should tell them to do my mani pedi at the same time, why should that be my responsibility, very unprofessional. Then I told her that there were bubbles on the clear coat and she just said they needed to dry and of course that was not it. Next day, I had to come back because of all the bubbles on my nails, then she said she was sorry and that she was too lazy to fix them last night, waste of my time, attached are the pictures. read more

Worst nail experience of my life! Zero stars. Went in for coffin shape, black gel, sparkly, full set..and then left with a set of nails that looked like a 1st graders art project. Only after Andy applied the glitter did he decide to inform me that the clear coat doesn't look right on the black glitter and left me with unfinished nails. In his defense he did tell me to come back if I wasn't happy with them and he would change it. I went back the next day and was very rudely informed that they WILL not fix my nails and I would have to wait until the next day when Andy would be back in the shop. I'm including pictures, and let me just ask you ladies.... WOULD YOU wait another second to get these fixed?! Absolutely disgusted with the customer service. This is my regular nail place. It is clean and they have plenty of selection of colors gel and regular. The ladies are sweet and friendly.

I came 3 hours before closing and asked if they had time to do eyelashes, full set and pedi. They took me in. Looked on the menu seen they had eyelashes, I know when you get lashes individually it usually takes an hour or so, maybe even longer. So when I asked how long it takes they said not long at all and if I wanted to they could squeeze it in before closing without a little problem. Soo.. First I got my eyelashes done. They were cheap so I should have known better but I was leaving for Hawaii and wanted to have eyelashes stay for a while but mostly from when I got in the water. So I chanced it in hopes that if anything went wrong I could look up a tutorial if worst came to worst on getting the glue off. After getting my lashes done, which looked terrible and felt heavy because of how much they stacked the group of lashes on top of each other. They had asked me what style I like as far as a subtle or dramatic look. And I just wanted something in between. I regret it. It was VERY irritating to my eyes, and extremely uncomfortable from stacking the lashes on top of each other with sooo much glue (let's not forget they were group lashes so it was very heavy to the eye)and that made it very itchy. The next day some weren't even on the lash line all the way so it was poking on the top of my lid line and these were in spots that missed being glued down all the way, I just couldn't believe it didn't stay down considering how much glue she used!! Once I finished I went to sit in the pedi seat. After realizing something was off I realized it was because the store was around closing time they literately rushed and didn't finish! I couldn't believe when the woman who was working on my nails and the other on my pedicure decided to even take me when I came if this was going to happen !!!! The least they could have done was tell me that it might not be possible to take me since they don't have the time but because they are money hungry and I say that because they charged me for each and every little thing taking off my nail polish then charging me to file my nails charging me for the length of my nails ??? Like who charges just because of the length?? They weren't even long at all!!!! And what frustrates me more is they told me this alllll at the end!!! WHO DOES THAT!!!!!??!?! anyways. The fact the charges me so much when they didn't even finish is just disgusting to me. I think this is the worst nail place I have EVER been too. Such a shame !!! read more

I have gone into a lot of Nail salons in my life but lately I have had horrible experiences. The last place was in Mira Loma and within a week the nails were lifted. Lee removed the old ones and put all new ones on also filling the underneath so that water and debris will not get under then nails causing fungus and whatever else. They turned out beautiful and feel so much more solidly attached to my fingers. read more

My pedi tub was grimy, my tech rushed through my service and cut so deep on one of my toes I nearly flew out of my seat. She proceeded to scrub my feet and asked me to lift my heels and while I'm sitting there with my leg suspended off the foot rest, she turns to her coworker and carries on the never ending conversation about who knows what. 10 minutes in to this horrendous service, I finally got up and left. I've been coming here for years now and they have the best service! Always so welcoming. Their color selection is HUGE, and Andy and Jenny both make sure I love my mani/pedi before I leave. The environment is very clean and nice every time I walk inside, and the best part is that they help you schedule times you are free to come in so that you don't have to wait! They also do such a great job on my nails that I ALWAYS get compliments on them when I get a new set. I've tried everything from them, going from acrylics to gel, and now to regular polish, and I love them all! They have such creative designs in mind, just ask them for a special one and they'll make your nails different from what anyone else has had! Besides all the bad reviews I decided to give this place a shot since it was so close to work. My wait wasn't long at all so I thought that was awesome. I went to get my gel polish off and a basic manicure. Before going, I called and spoke to Andy, who said it would be 10.00 for gel removal and a regular manicure. I asked if they were busy and he said no. I arrived in 10 minutes and had to wait for the workers who didn't have clients to finish eating or whatever. I'm seated and then the gel removal starts. The lady takes forever taking it off. It's finally time for filing and a couple of my nails are shorter than the rest. When she starts polishing, she put such a thick coat. Without letting it dry or letting me use the fan while she's doing the other hand like I asked, she adds more polish to the still wet coat. I had to tell her that the polish wasn't even close to the cuticles or even. They were so uneven and looked as if I had them for a week. Without letting that one fully dry, she adds the clear coat. then she goes to clean up all the paint that was on my skin with the brush. She touches my pinky nail, messing that paint up. She adds clear coat to it. And then tells me to sit under the fan table they have. 1 hour and 35 minutes later, I have a regular, messed up manicure done. After a long day of work, this was the last place I wanted to be for that long. When she tells me it will be 13.00, I tell her that Andy said it would be 10.00. She asked the other people in the shop and came back with the slip showing 13.00... I was too fed up to say anything. I gave her a 2.00 tip and walked out. I got to my car and noticed the polish was so thick that it started to ripple without me even touching it. So annoyed and won't be returning here. read more

I got my nails done with jenny and seriously JENNY must of been on her period or something because she was very rude from the beginning with me. I showed her a picture of how i wanted my nails, she didn't even look at the picture, she immediately said NO with attitude, my nails were all uneven, shape bad, too thick, and i had bumps in one of my nails from the way she put the gel polish on and didn't even cared of fixing it, she walked away and had someone else finising up with my nails and i was even stupid enough to give her a tip.
