I came in for a manicure and pedicure, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. During my pedicure, the technician made me bleed on my toes three separate times. Then, during my manicure, the technician did not complete the design I requested because he used the wrong powder. When I pointed out that it wasn't what I had asked for, the technician simply laughed and said it was a different powder--even though it was the same photo I had shown him before starting. This was extremely unprofessional and lack of accountability. After he had no way to do design due to his mistake, I just told him to do a French tip style instead, but even that came out poorly. The French tips were uneven, and there were visible scratches beneath the polish. Overall, I left feeling frustrated, uncomfortable, and disappointed, especially after paying for a service that caused pain and did not meet basic quality standards. I really liked this place and the ladies there are really good. I made a mistake of not making an appointment with the previous ladies who attended me before. I walked in and the only man I've seen there sat me and started on my nails. He smelled like cigarettes, which makes me nauseous and he had a non-friendly attitude. He had a basketball game on that he was watching. I thought the TV was for the customers. Then I noticed he had a wart on his finger, which is contagious. I was so uneasy during the whole thing. Manicure 2/5 Initially, I thought they were doing a great job. They asked me what size I wanted my nails to be, gave an awesome massage and was patient when I was choosing my colors. However when it came time to apply polish, I could see the work was sloppy. The polish did not reach all the way to the cuticles and each layer of polish was uneven. The cuticles were not even and looked tattered. The nail tech kept applying acetone to the edges of my nails to remove the excess that my skin got really dry afterwards. Pedicure 4/5 a different, older woman did my pedicure and it looked a lot better. This person was a lot more attentive and the pedicure looks a lot cleaner. read more

came to get my toe nails done two weeks ago, on the morning of my baby shower. I usually do my own mani's and pedi's but i'm 9 months pregnant and its harder to do on my own now. $45 & an hour later, I get home, shower and get ready, look down at my foot and notice that my toe nail wasnt properly cured and had a bubble of wet nail polish under. Make sure to check your toes to avoid this happening & also they should let you know how much extra they were charging for certain things because a $28 service turned into $45 without tip. & also it was pretty hot in there so if your prego in the summer maybe pick somewhere else. read more

Jumping for joy to find nail places are open again. I live in San Francisco- they aren't open yet near us. My best friend and I strive out to Riverside Cemetery today to coordinate her mom's service. What a treat to sit in a spa chair and relax a bit after. My friend and I both selected the #23 pedicure. Thinking we definitely needed the callus removal service- we haven't had a pedicure since late January. We didn't have an appointment. We originally stopped at Albertsons to use a restroom. We both spotted the nail salon next door and agreed if we could get in, we needed a little pampering. A man greeted us as soon as we entered, we asked if we could get 2 pedicures. He said yes, just a few minutes to set up for us. We said no problem, we were just going to pop in next door to use the restroom. He said they had one there we could use. The restroom was plenty clean. Then we each selected our polish. Plenty to choose from. The few colors I tested seemed fresh- not clumpy and old like I've experienced at other salons. They have 8 massage chairs- but are only using 4. Every other chair is used in order to honor social distancing. The employees all wore masks and gloves. The nail tools had all be sanitized. They use the disposable liner for each foot spa. My friend and I appreciated that the employees weren't overly chatty. It's been a long week cleaning out my friend's mom's home and making arrangements- so some peace and quiet was so appreciated. There was a chair empty between my friend and I to honor social distancing. Very happy with my polish color. My reason for 4 stars instead of 5 were that I had issues with my massage chair. It kept stopping every few minutes and I had to keep restarting it. I wish the leg massage had been a bit stronger. I normally love the hot stone massage- I get them often at home. Never have I had them bang my ankles repeatedly with the stone, as I experienced here. My friend said her lady did the same to her. One of the worst nail salons I have ever been to. I came in to get a full set and pedicure with callus remover last Saturday. My service was rushed from beginning to end and resulted in them not doing my nails properly. They put the acrylic on some of my nails on top of my skin and the other half of the nails were not even fully done starting at the cuticle so it just looked a hot mess. The shaping was absolutely atrocious and she tried to fix it later on by just filing underneath which resulted in the nail chipping off as soon as I left. I called the next day Sunday and my call was not answered. I then called three times yesterday and left a voicemail voicemail to which he told me today on the phone that they don't listen to voicemails. They have this made up policy of only being able to fix the nails three days after the service but did not answer any of my calls nor return my voicemails. I paid $100 including tip for my pedicure and nails for them not to do the callus remover or do my nails correctly. Save yourself some time and money by totally skipping out on this nail salon. this policy is not listed anywhere that I could see it. He also tried to pretend he did not hear us on the phone when I called earlier today and was very rude and did not want to refund nor fix my service. I told him that I would be disputing the charge and he told me that I couldn't do that. Don't worry, I already called my bank and will be getting my money back. I just want to leave this review so that no one has to go through what I went through and does not visit this nail salon. If they allowed me to leave a zero, I would. So upon coming to this location i looked at their reviews. Some of them are pretty harsh. Despite what others said I figured I would give it a shot. When I went in I was greeted immediately. They asked me what I wanted and I told them full set. I was looking at the Gel colors and decided to just do Pink and White. I told Victor that I had no problem waiting. He was shocked and said you're so nice. I went to get a juice and I came back and he sat me down right away. He asked me my name and we hit it off from there. I love my nails! I've read that people gave bad reviews because they had to wait. I love that they work on you like you're all that matters. No matter what it is they make sure we're happy and comfortable. They don't rush just because they have people waiting. Appointments are really necessary if you don't want to wait because they work with that customer and not anyone else. I hated going to nail places that would be doing more than one person at the same time. Rushing my work then I walk out with a crooked nail! And Amy does lashes beautifully and they last much longer than my other eyelash girls at an actual eyelash studio. And much cheaper! So whoever is giving a bad review hasn't had time with them. So I went in on 05/18 for a full set. Another customer walked in being obnoxiously loud, had a call on speaker. she was greeted and seated right away for a pedicure. The woman started making racial slurs against Black people... going as far as calling black mixed babies monkeys and NONE of the employees said anything to her. Mind you, the nail tech was working on another customer who happened to be Black. the racist customer was probably Latina and probably a regular there the nail te h even offered her his ear set for her to continue the call. I decided not to stay and give my money to a business that does not speak up for others. Should have listened to the reviews first time customer , walked in for my 1 o clock appointment with victor he had someone else do my nails she didn't know what she was doing I wanted dip and the lady Tina did not know how to take it off she soaked my entire hands in a bowl of acetone I was interested in a manicure and they said 14$ more on top of dip which was 37$ so then he said if I want cuticle clean it's 5$ so as I'm watching her do my nails I'm more and more turned off .. ppl are also not 6ft apart just very unprofessional I did not let her even continue doing my nails I paid for the dip she removed and I left . I came here to get a pedicure/foot massage and my experience was horrible! I really didn't want a pedicure, I wanted the foot massage that comes with it because it was the day after christmas and I had been on my feet all week. I called before stopping by to make sure I could actually get a foot massage and I was told that I could add more minutes to my massage at $1 per minute. I ran over! The place was pretty empty once I arrived. I picked a color and was seated quickly. I didn't catch the name of the lady who did my pedicure but she was horrible. She did not tend to my cuticles the way that I would have liked her to (my biggest pet peeve) nor did she speak or understand English! Every time I made a request or asked her a question some lady who seemed to be the owner would chime in. It was hella annoying because she wasn't a pleasure to deal with. I got the Refreshing Pedicure, or the #2, which was $24 and included a 6minute massage, citrus scrub cooling gel, hot oil stone massage, and a hot towel wrap in addition to cuticle grooming and polishing. Sounds heavenly right? I didn't feel a thing and the ordeal became even more disappointing when it was time to polish my toes. She did a horrible job at polishing and with the polish that I chose, all of her mistakes were visible. At first I was going to just keep the color, but when she messed up one of my toes and had to redo it, I saw that as an opportunity to have her redo every toe a different color. I told her I would pay extra. Of course she needed the other chick to translate and this lady started berating me like a child, asking me why I picked the color if I didn't like it. I remained polite and stated again that I would pay for the extra job. She just kept talking when finally I told them to remove the polish and close out my tab. They were more happy to let me leave unsatisfied than to make sure I was completely satisfied with my services before I left. Needless to say, I left without tipping and was very unhappy! I noticed about an hour later that the polish didn't look smooth and thought I hit my toes against something. But that wasn't the case, each nails had small air bubbles throughout.
