I honestly don't even know what I actually got (gel or acrylic or something else) but I chose a French style mani. Mrs. Le was super sweet and really efficient with the nail polish application. She shaped my natural square nails to look nice and slim. She even said my hand looked like a modeling hand (I'll take the compliment ). I would recommend this place and would definitely come back. I paid $45 for my nails but of course *pricing may vary* - I don't work here so don't quote my price. Anyways, check out these nails! New Review from 2019: I'm sad to say with my latest experience that my five star rating has dropped to three stars. The staff is still very friendly but I was not happy with the response I got when I asked if the nail tech could make the nail polish go all the way back to the cuticle and not leave a gap. I was told it was "too late." There are bubbles causing rough edges and uneven surfaces on my nails and there is polish that was left on my skin. I'm not happy with my latest experience but more so with how it was handled. I recently went to The Polish Lounge in Gilbert and had gels done. There were a few issues I had with that experience as well and asked at the salon, same situation, and they happily fixed the nails for me and I left super happy. I asked and was told I was too late. They were very friendly but I didn't agree with the way it was handled. I'm not happy with my nails and am looking to return to The Polish Lounge instead. This is such a odd review to write. I came here to get my nails done for a wedding. At first the service was really great. The technician shaped my nails the way I wanted, thinned them out for me so they didn't look clunky. Everything was going great, I washed my hands and came back and my technician was on the phone. Normally it wouldn't bother me but she became distracted and my nail polish came out uneven. She messed up the color on my ring finger and had to file it off, except she didn't get it all off and you can still see spots of it, and during that process made my pinky bleed. I also would like to note that my cuticles were not trimmed so while the nails looked ok my hands were still kinda messy. I would like to note that even though this experience was rather odd I still would go back and give it another shot before ruling this place out because I do really like the shape of my acrylics. I have never been one to frequent nail salons, but I have been going to this place for several years now and can't seem to stop! They do such an amazing job on my nails every time and everyone in the shop is so sweet. I LOVE their pedicures with the sugar scrub and I really enjoy getting SNS manicures, as they last me about 3 weeks and their price is fairly reasonable. I do have to admit, I have recently tried other nail salons in my area that were closer to me, as this one is a bit out of my way. However, I have ended up being so disappointed by other salons. After experiencing other places, I had to come back to Gelish. Always provide a great experience. Other places would leave out cuticle care and lotion/hand massages after manis. I drove 35 minutes to come here and it was worth every minute! I will be returning here! After a year and a half of being in AZ I have finally found a nail salon. I came in upset with an old set of nails on from a different location that I went to 3times to fix popped nails from the same 2 weeks! When I came in all my complaints were listened to, I was no rushed I showed what I wanted and was totally given exactly that! They didn't try to cut corners, we went through different pinks to see what color best matched. Top notch customer service! I was also given water. Amazing service! I have been searching for a nail salon for so long and finally found the place. I got an amazing gel manicure by Sophia and a matching pedi from Nyi and both girls were incredible Service was fast, they had great walk in availability and both of my technicians were so gentle and kind. Sophia carefully shaped each of my nails and made sure I was completely happy with my color and the design we chose. She did not rush through my appointment but took her time to make sure it was perfect. Nyi spent extra time massaging my swollen feet because I am pregnant and making sure my pedicure matched my manicure perfectly. She added hot stones to my pedicure also even though it was not part of the package I purchased. It was such a treat to come to this salon and I will be coming again. I was super excited to try this place after seeing some reviews as I have not had good experiences with nail salons in the past. First of all, my nail tech wasn't friendly at all and didn't say a word to me expect to tell me to go wash my hands. He proceeded to give me a fill and was extremely rough. My pinky was burning and he actually cut my middle finger. My left nails turned out ok but my right hand is all messed up. My pointer finger on my right hand looks like he chipped it and continued to put polish over it. I didn't notice until after I left. It was just a shitty job period. Super messy. Never going back. I went in for a pedicure and gel nails. The pedicure was great, my son got one as well. The nails I received were horrible, crooked, the technician kept twisting my fingers, the color application was sloppy. The shape was off and when I said something I was told after the filing it would look better. I asked for it to be fixed even showed a picture of exactly what I wanted and it still came out like trash. I wouldn't recommend this place or that particular technician. read more

I have been to this salon more times than I can count, and for the most part I have walked away satisfied. Normally, the wait is fairly short and all of the employees do a phenomenal job. Once or twice I have felt like I didn't get my money's worth and once they royally messed up my eyebrows. But beyond those few exceptions, I really like the result after I go here. The most recent time, I got French tips on my actual nail (non-acrylic) and I really liked the outcome. I would prefer, however, to get what I ask for without someone trying to talk me out of it. For example, today I was pushed to get red sparkly nail polish. I had to say "no" about 4-5 times before that was accepted and I got what I asked for. Clean & new. But I hated having to watch meat being cooked on the tv's while I was here the entire time listening to 15 different versions of " Feliz Navidad". I mean it is the season, but there are many other songs for the holidays that could be played. It just was the same song over and over and over watching meat be cooked on the TV. Customer service was great and I had high hopes going in, lady at the front desk and my nail tech were really nice but she was extremely rough with my nails! Hands down best experience, best nail techs, best results. They truly take their time, make sure it's exactly the way you want it. Compared to other nail places, I get maybe a 45 second foot/leg massage, but at this place they give a long nice leg and foot rub, and it is worth every penny. They are thorough and caring.
