Happy with my visit to Gauchos. Greeted quickly when placing my order. Food came out quick. The sandwich had a hefty amount of meat, there was a good amount of sauce, and toppings tasted fresh. Minus one star as I thought the steak was lacking seasoning- but the toppings and dressing made up for it. Prices were kinda hefty in my opinion- but on par for the other restaurants in the Garage so can't fault them for it. Would definitely explore other items on there menu if I'm in the Garage again!
Gaucho's Fire is one of the many restaurants in The Garage in Bottleworks. I hadn't been here before but I was excited to try it out since I enjoy street food, as they offer. I looked forward to the Brazilian twist. Our food came out within a few minutes. They provide table buzzers so you can sit down while you wait. I got the chimichurri steak fries with a side of Brazilian cheese bread and Brazilian limonade. The limonade was probably my favorite of the three. It's more lime based, and has some cream in it as well so it is very refreshing with a little more indulgence. The chimichurri steak fries were pretty good too. They add a good amount of the sauce to the steak and they use the battered fries which are delicious! The Brazilian cheese bread was okay, it wasn't very cheesy as far as I could taste and was slight greasy. I'll admit here that I could be wrong though and this is how it's supposed to be. At least for my preference, I want a cheesy bread to be really cheesy. Overall it was a good experience. With all the choices in The Garage, I don't know yet if I'd be rushing back to this spot as a new favorite, but I'd certainly come again to try something different!
Churrasco Mix - grilled chicken breast, Brazilian sausage, steak, chimichurri sauce, grilled onion, French fries Good portions. Fries were crispy and fluffy. BUT. 2/3 meats were dry. Chicken was at least seasoned. Steak was bland, tough, and dry. Sausages were okay. No issues with service.
I was at the Garage for a Yelp grab-and-go event, and figured I'd get some dinner while here. I wanted to try something different and decided to try Gaucho's. I ordered a Brazilian steak sandwich and fries. They make everything fresh so they give you a buzzer that alerts you when your food is ready. It took about 10 minutes and looked great. This was definitely a tasty, filling sandwich. I think next time I'll ask for no or less mayonnaise but that's just my preference and I think would make it not quite as heavy of a meal. I probably would have been plenty full without the fries but they were fresh and tasty. They are the batter coated kind so very filling...on top of the heavy, filling sandwich. You will not leave here hungry and so this is a great option if you're looking for a hearty meal.
I'm not gonna hold yall I absolutely love their ultimate Brazilian sandwich!! But every time I go customer service absolutely SUCKS. They overcharge for their "secret sauce" like it's Jesus' pee lol! But it's not that deep I hate a place that overcharges for no reason. Food is food, I like places that aren't stingy and still know they worth. The sandwich is already a decent price, sauce should be included at no extra cost. You basically need more sauce for the sandwich it's a setup lol!
I had some beef chimichurri and beef skewers, and the food was delicious and flavorful. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly. I would recommend this place for a quick bite if you're in the area. It's family-friendly, and you'll definitely enjoy your visit.
I had went to the garage today after work and I elected to try something from here. As I looked at the menu I decided on the chicken rice and the Brazilian lemonade. The lemonade was different but wasn't too bad. The food was good. The price of the food was reasonable and they gave a nice amount. Customer service was good. The cashier answered any questions I had. The counter was clean and it was decorated nice. I would go back.
Many options in the garage to choose from and I decided to try out this. Once you order they will buzz you when your food is ready. I got the Brazilian Steak Sandwich and it came out pretty quick. The sandwich came with mayo, cheese, steak, and diced topping. The sandwich was ok. Not exploding with flavor or super tender beef, but just a good sandwhich.
I saw Gauchos in a YouTube travel video and decided while in Indianapolis to give it a try. I got the chimichurri steak fries. The fries were hot and crispy, the steak was very tender, but the thing that lacked was the chimichurri sauce. This was a decent dish, but more chimichurri would've put it over the top. Service was fine and with Gauchos being in the Garage, the dining area was extremely noisy, but fine for being a food court type of dining area. The Garage is worth a visit and if in the area.
Wow. These were great nachos and the meat was flavored so well and tender. My only feedback is I hate when someone dumps the chips in the bottom and all the toppings go on the very top. The boat was full and it's hard to get it stirred so that you have toppings all the way to the bottom of your chips. I like a place where they put down some chips put a little bit of toppings and cheese than layer some more chips that way it's a good experience all the way evenly through and you don't have to swap the nachos everywhere trying to get it stirred. Regardless, the nachos on top with toppings were AMAZING!!! Would definitely choose this again. The garage was a great experience. They had games on lots of TVs and plenty of seating. It was just a fun vibe.
This is my new go to when I need a quick snack. The sauce that it comes with is so good, although I'd prefer for them to give more sauce considering the size of the pastel is rather larger.
Working my way through The Garage and finally stopped at Gaucho's. My mom is a super picky eater and she loved the Brazilian Steak sandwich. She didn't even pick off the tomatoes, which I have never seen her eat in my life. My brother had the sausage sandwich and loved it. They were both kinda iffy about the chicken skewers. I tried the fries and dipped them in gauchos sauce. I couldn't figure out the flavor exactly - mayonnaise and ?? - but it was delicious. There were a couple people who saw our food and came over to ask what we had and where we got it from so it must've looked good.
Gaucho's Fire is located in The Garage/Bottleworks. It is super easy to find on the north side of the building. Lines are typically long but they move quickly. So this visit I had the loaded Guacho Fries with sausage, chicken and steak, provolone and their own special sauce over fries. It was tasty and filling, not quite sure about the mayo-based sauce as it was heavy on the mayo to the point you could taste it. Now I like fries dipped in mayo but I think it threw this moment off for me. Next time I will ask for the sauce on the side and use a good, old faithful hot sauce instead. They have tons of great options so I am sure you will figure it out and love this place like I do. I also grabbed their Brazilian Lemonade (non-alcoholic). It had a great bite and its not super sweet. If you are looking for it to mirror American Lemonade, this beverage is not for you. Will I be back to try other items? Yelp! Will I review? Yelp.

This spot has a location in the new garage that is located near the Mass Ave. area and I highly recommend you check out the garage as they have a wide variety of restaurants and also stores inside. There is quite a bit of parking in the Mass. Ave Area, just make sure that you do pay for parking otherwise you will get a ticket. Do you give yourself time to explore what is offered inside as there's many great local stores that you can purchase great gifts from as well. I ordered the steak fries and they were flavorful. I would argue that they could've had a little bit more in terms of sauce to them I think that would have made it slightly better. It would've been nice if there are some veggies on it or such as well. I will admit I am happy that the fries were crispy and warm as a lot of restaurants typically fail to do this. This restaurant did not fail to do that and therefore they get brownie points. In addition I would add that I would have liked for there to be a little bit more of a proportion of fries to the topping but I was still satisfied. Other than that the service was nice and in terms of how busy it was it didn't take too long to get the food. There's plenty of seating in the area and with a menu bag what they offer you can most definitely stand up and eat the food options that they have. read more

Anytime I go to The Garage I have to stop by Gaucho's fire and get their grilled beef chimichurri fries! This can be eaten as a main dish or a side dish. My husband and I always compete for the last bite. One thing I appreciate about them is they make it easy to find your way back when you order by giving out the buzzers. It both keeps you from guessing if your food is ready but helps them have a steady flow of people. Great work! I can't wait to get their other restaurant in the Garage. read more

First of all I got salad instead of fries because I didn't really mess with the fries last time I was here, first of all this shit was fire . If I go back I'm getting this because yum asf. The meat is seasoned this time and everything I knew when I went to the garage I was gonna hit this place again because not only is it what I'm familiar with but the staff is cool asf. Looks like they just recently opened as one of the previous reviews didn't mention this place at The Garage Food Hall. I only got one meal but 2 orders of Kebab steak because it looked good. And it also tasted good. As of now, I couldn't do an in-depth review as we went to 2 other places for food and drinks but I'm looking forward to coming back to them as I enjoyed my kebab and will update this with pics of their menu and other food. I knew that I wanted lunch and didn't want to spend $50 and only had 45 minutes to spare. The Grilled Beef Chimichurri fries were my pick for lunch and they were grilled to perfection. I have never had Brazilian food and figured the steak fries would taste like arrachera and I was incredibly wrong. The steak flavor was so powerful and the chimichurri complemented it so well. As an introduction to Brazilian food this was a very warm welcome. They came to about $12 and some change and the serving size was very fulfilling. I had way more meat than fries and that's exactly how I like it. There was no wait. And when I went to another vendor with my fries after I had gotten my food, they said that it was their favorite thing on their menu as well. read more
Yes the cheese puffs are good, really good, but why fill up on those when one can eat grilled steak?! The beef skewers were really awesome! I ordered medium, but now having tasted this I think rare is the way to go. The slices of beef are a nice thickness and a tender and flavorful cut. The portions solid for the price. The batter dipped French fries were hot and crispy. The chimichurri sauce was spot on with its mix of green, fresh parsley, cilantro, oregano, garlic, olive oil and a splash of red wine vinegar. On our second visit to the Garage Food Hall, we decided to try something different. There were three in our group and we decided to go with Gaucho's Fire since it offered food that everyone was able to find something that appealed to them. I saw in the business's comments that they recommended the Brazilian Steak Sandwich and the Grilled Beef Chimichuri. One of our group ordered from that selection while I ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad. We waited briefly before ordering and paid before finding a seat in the general seating area shared by the food hall. (It was quite spacious). Our receipt had an order # and one of our group stood within range of hearing the cashier call out the number for pickup. The meals came with napkins, plastic ware and a tray to carry it all on. The wait was about five minutes for our order to be put together during a weekday lunch. Our friend ordered the Brazilian Steak Sandwich and said it was really good. My wife ordered the Grilled Beef Chimichuri and said the beef was chewy. I tried it and thought the meat was tender enough, but with a bit of chew. I was disappointed in the chimichuri seasoning. I've had it elsewhere (maybe not authentic elsewhere) but I definitely was not drawn to the taste and wouldn't recommend it. I ordered a large Grilled Chicken Salad that had bite sized pieces of chicken that were tasty and held some moisture despite the grilling. They offered a choice of dressing (Ranch or Blue Cheese) and layered it on fairly thick. It is served over a bed of greens that are cut, but not quite small enough to be bite sized. With the dressing, I struggled keeping my face free of dressing as I tried to fit the lettuce/chicken/toppings into my mouth. I have a fairly large mouth, so I was surprised that the lettuce needed additional cutting with my plastic ware for me to fit the "bites" cleanly into my mouth. If they would cut the lettuce into just a little smaller pieces, I wouldn't have been wiping my face after each bite. Little details could be improved and earn a higher rating, but I have to base my review on what my/our experience was, not could be. Most meals offered where in the $8-10 range. Extra sides and desserts and beverages are add ons. Be sure to hold onto your receipt to get a discount on your parking fees if you stop at one of the internal machines marked by small murals that help you locate the place to get discounts on your parking. Fantastic food. I got the gauchos fries. They were crunchy, cheesy and filling. It was more than enough food. The gaucho sauce is amazing! My boyfriend said the skewer was rather delicious and much tastier than it looked. He also noted that while it was good it is not authentic Brazilian. Neither of us loved the cheese balls. The food hall was super crowded on a Saturday afternoon so we sat outside. There were plenty of spaces in the sun. I like it a lot overall! it is a little pricey but isn't everything on mass ave. read more

Amazing!!!!!! I had the steak sandwich & fries. This sandwich was awesome everyone needs to try it go to garage indy don't walk run. There was plenty of meat on the sandwich where are you could taste every bite of the veggies bread and meat it was all evenly distributed Throughout the sandwich. Service was fast and friendly I went on a Friday afternoon with my husband and son we were able to get our number and have our food within 10 minutes or less. I definitely recommend this read more

There is much better at The Garage. This place is one of the quicker stands, so if you're hungry I'd recommend. However, Clancy's has better fries and other places have higher quality meats. This place adds to the variety of the garage read more
Ordered chimichurri fries and Brazilian rolls, the steak was a bit over cooked and just bland flavor nothing spectacular. The rolls were suppose to have cheese and didn't really have much flavor. Definitely just tasted like fair food. read more

This place is over priced and overrated. The Brazilian steak sandwich, is basically a less seasoned Philly cheesesteak with pico de Gallo. Honestly, I don't recommend it. It was dry and the it seemed like the steak wasn't seasoned. We also had the Brazilian cheese bread. They weren't even warm. They weren't terrible, but I wouldn't say they were fantastic. read more

I love the garage at bottle works. I attached a photo of the Brazilian sandwich. It was excellent, but not as good as the gaucho fries with sausage. The cheese bread others suggested was great and gluten free but I learned I don't like the texture of cassava flour. I can't wait to go back to try other things. read more
