Tasty and fast! I had a fajita salad and the bowl was hot and crispy and delicious. My friend had the Horchata which was SUPER sweet, but very tasty. Big portions.

Wow! La Parada was our go to, but we now have a new favorite! El Mr Cameron is the bomb. I had Seafood Molcajete and wife had Arroz Con Cameron. This is a little hole in the wall on the southeast side. The chips and salsa were amazing and reminded us of my wife's families restaurant in KC. Service as great and the food was even better. Get ready for a new regular customer!

Found this little gem of a restaurant here on Yelp! Loved the food as well as the portions, exactly what we were looking for in a mexican seafood restaurant. Will definitely re-visit next time in or near Indianapolis.

What a wonderful little joint on the south east side of Indy! Delicious food, awesome atmosphere, and extremely colorful. Hardly any parking in the lot, but plenty of street parking across the road. The service staff is very attentive, although it did take us a while before we could finally pay and leave. You don't pay at the table; you pay at the counter. Once we sat down, we were immediately greeted with chips and salsa. After looking at their huge menu for a while, my girlfriend ordered the camarones a la diabla, which is very spicy shrimp (hint at the diabla) served with rice, beans, and vegetables. I ordered the fried breaded shrimp, which was served with the same sides. Very, very good! They give you a lot of shrimp. I definitely couldn't finish my entire meal. The breaded shrimp reheated great. We also ordered chorizo queso fundido served with hot tortillas on a sizzling skillet. Super great food all around and I'll definitely be returning. Plus their hot sauce selection is pretty wonderful as well as their red and green salsas.

    Tasty shrimp!

A nice little Mexican on the South East side of Indy. When you sit down you get chips and three types of Salsa. The only complaint I have about this place is the chips were just warm but not hot. The standard salsa was flavorful and had a little heat but plenty of spice. A very good salsa compared to the bland boring salsa served at so many Mexican restaurant. I got the camarones a la diabla. They use large shrimp, and there was around 15-20. The a la diabla sauce was nicely spice with a little heat. It came with rice, beans, avocados, tomatoes, lime and lettuce. The cost was $13.99 and I was fine with the price because of the quality of the shrimp. The restaurant was located in small strip mall. The place was nicely decorated. From everything I could see the place was clean and well taken care of. The service was good. I could tell my lunch was made to order and not pre-made and assembled like you get at so many Mexican restaurants today. I am going to go back and try some of their other dishes, but a great first meal. I am so happy that we have a few authentic Mexican restaurants in Indianapolis. If you are bored of chain restaurants and think for yourself and are not manipulated by millions of dollars in TV commercials to make yourself believe you have to eat average to below average overpriced food at some chain restaurant, I am one of you. Let's all keep supporting the true food scene in Indiana.

One of the first things I judge a Mexican restaurant on is the frijoles. This place is fantastic. The salsa had flavor! The camarones de la diabla are in a spicy sauce that is more than just spice. It's spice and heat and a little bit of smoke from maybe some chipotle. The shrimp is fresh and cooked perfectly. Will be going several times to try everything, but they really shine with the seafood. The tilapia is add much a visual masterpiece as a culinary one. Is the whole fish that fills a long plate, but you can get the filet if you like. This place is tucked away so don't blink or you might miss it.

I was referred here. So I gave it a whirl. It's an unexpected jewel on Sherman. The most authentic Mexican cuisine I've had in this city and I am an avid consumer of Mexican delectables. Customer service was great, the food was to my liking.

Took everything out to cool off since it was so hot!

Little hole in the wall.. Was not expecting to go here buuuut couldn't find this paleo place so ended up here and so grateful we did. Seat yourself, young boy brought us menus, chips and salsa which were awesome! Couldn't really understand the menu but I saw a man we had this huge bowl of seafood soup so I said "I want that!" With some guacamole. My boyfriend ordered 2 shrimp tacos and 2 beef tacos. Food took maybe 12 minutes to come out. My seafood soup had shrimp w/heads, crawdaddies, octopus, fish, crab legs served with a side of raw white onions, green onions and peppers. This was seriously so good and it was only $13. The tacos were perfect too.. Double tortillas so they don't fall apart and the guac was so fresh!

Great place to go for lunch. Tacos are fresh, made to order, and are darn tasty. Owners are very nice, welcoming.

Curb appeal is minimal, but we visited at 2pm and it was crowded. Great atmosphere for a family, very welcoming. We were promptly directed to choose a table, and salsa and chips were almost immediately placed in front of us. The fresh tomato salsa was pretty spicy, nice! Our entire service was very courteous, including the owner/manager coming to our table a couple times and asking how things were. I got the shrimp camarones, they were very good. Served with beans, rice, fresh tortillas, and a small salad. The shrimp were peel-and-eat, cooked in a tasty but not overpowering sauce. We also ordered the ceviche- very good. Some sort of seafood is definitely recommended, but there are also tortas, quesadillas and enchiladas. My boyfriend ordered 3 chicken tacos, and the handmade tortillas were a stand-out feature. Small servings of ice cream were brought to our table complimentarily when we finished our meal. I'm not sure if this is because it was clear we hadn't been there before, or standard.

I forget the name of the soup but it has all types of seafood in it, including octopus.

Overall a chill environment and ith a nice front patio/ sidewalk seating area. We enjoyed the chips n salsa varieties, surprisingly the darker salsa wasn't spicier just a different flavor. Orde re d the chicken burrito which was gigantic easily enough for 2 to share. Very well made fresh ingredients, covered in sauces and cheesy. And we all tried different margaritas, mine was a strawberry fruity take on a margarita, good and garnished nicely. Rated fresh and flavorful, not very strong and a bit pricey. Especially with some being $100+ for a drink was wild. Overall nice place, nice environment, wasn't busy and tasted good but is priced higher than most Mexican restaurants in the city.

Driving through…read morehere, you see the blight and the abandonment of this area of Indianapolis since the decline of manufacturing. Then again, it's not an uncommon story unfortunately- large parts of the city forgotten in terms of economic development but then suddenly needed during times of campaigning. Had taken Keystone and then Rural Street to get here, and the potholes are not kind. But, we had this place on our list and were determined to make it here at least once. Tlaolli stood out for its vegan offerings. Plenty of vegan taco options, birria (an absolute rarity to see vegan birria), and torta. They offer soy chorizo, jackfruit, and king oyster mushrooms as protein options. The exterior is colorful, and inside there are seating options. We had gotten our food to go, so I cannot comment too much on the service. Had placed our order online, and the food was ready within the estimated time in the order. We ordered the vegan birria tacos ($17.99), the vegan torta ($10.99 base but added soy chorizo, which was $3.99), and the no-no-no taco ($5.99). Our total with fees was approximately $45. Tlaolli offers outdoor seating, so when the weather is nicer this would be a good place to come. Next to the East Washington IPL branch, Tlaolli has a colorful green exterior with neon signage. Food: The food was very good. The proteins were nicely seasoned and juicy. The highlight for me was the birria tacos and the consome. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. 10/10. This is a great local business in the area to support: offers a diverse menu of options with food that is comforting and tasty.
