The speaker is out so you have to order at the window. Everyone was super friendly. There is a .75 to go fee. The food was hot and seasoned.

Taco Tuesday....yes! $2.50 tacos. The host is super friendly and anxious to get us a bar order. They had lots of tempting specials. Complimentary chips and salsa came out quick. We ordered guacamole, which was fresh and creamy. The salsa is chunky with a great bite. To say our server, Carretero, was attentive is an understatement. She checked on us regularly. Super, friendly service. I ordered three chicken tacos on corn tortillas. The tacos came topped with cilantro and onions and two sauces on the side. The chicken was moist with great seasoning. The place is cute and small with typical carved colorful bench seating. Festive Mexican music plays loudly. The bar is small with a Margaritaville vibe. They have a drive through and nice big patio with covered tables. The parking lot has seen better days, but there's plenty of parking. Great pricing and service...I'll be back.

A lot of water in it

This is my first time eating there. I have seen people eat there quite often. I was curious how good it would be. I ordered their burrito bowl and a side of queso Blanco. We start off with a good queso. Blanca was excellent. The chips were amazing. It was quick now the downside. I got the burrito bowl with ground beef. There was a lot of water in it, which made me kind of sick to eat the ground beef with water in it. It was really a flavorless. The ground meat was awful. The meal was $22 maybe I should have ordered chicken. I'm not sure I've never been there but not a good first experience.

Decent spot for a quick meal. Different take on enchiladas suizas - cheese enchiladas topped with carnitas and salsa verde. Light on the carnitas, but had good flavor. Rice is awesome. Will definitely try some other stuff on the menu.

Delicious and filling food! I was in the mood for a burrito and looked up close spots near my job on the east side. The location was easy to find and there was a large parking lot. I noticed there was a drive thru but the sign said order at the window and I pulled up but nobody came. I decided to go in- the staff member was taking someone's order but helped me right after. They do have lunch specials but I went with the steak and cheese burrito. The food was very fast not but 5-10 minutes. The staff member also gave me menus since I mentioned I was ordering something for a coworker. She also told me you can call ahead and then pick up at the window. The burrito was very good and filling. The rice was alright but was a little cold in the middle. Overall I would come back here to try a lunch special

Burrito Loco

We have been wanting to try this place for awhile since it's newer - and I'm so glad we did! I placed an order through Yelp for pick-up and everything was correct and ready on time. I got the Enchiladas Rancheras and my husband got the Burrito Loco. Each came with rice and we got a bag of chips and salsa. Very impressed with the amount and quality of food! Definitely enough to get 2 meals out of. Can't wait to try more things!

First visit. Very friendly staff, clean but small seating area with a bar. Interesting walk-up order window in addition to drive thru and seating inside. Bright tangerine building very visible from the street! I ordered two tacos; one carnitas and one steak. Loved the carnitas and both were very generously portioned! Hubby order Arroz con Pollo and it was generously portioned. He said it was "okay" thinking it was a bit bland but it was plentiful and hot and he said he would order it again but ask for the meat to be better seasoned. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Sometimes, depending on cook, it's better...or worse so a few more visits are in order to hit on the favorites.

Enchiladas suizas. Cheese enchiladas covered in cheese & shredded pork!

This place is amazing!! Table service! Food & service is great!! Portions are large! Full service bar. Margaritas seem to be mild until you near the end.

Great food, good service. Only thing is that the place is kinda small and doesn't appear 100% clean.

Don't think there's a bad dish on the menu. Food is always killer authentic and service is always good. And the margaritas are spot on.

The menu has something for everyone, and after trying the wings, fries, and watermelon salad, we already knew we'd need to come back to explore more of it. We were especially impressed with the drink selection, offering a wide variety of canned and draft beers, cocktails, and even THC options. They truly have something for just about everyone! The bartenders were friendly, and our only minor critique was the service time. It seemed like the bartender was juggling both the tables and the bar rail, which felt like a lot to manage given how busy the restaurant was. We weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a major issue for us, but a little extra support during peak times could make the experience even better. Overall, Sahm's Tavern is a great spot for football, drinks, and a casual meal. With such a solid menu and an impressive beverage selection, we're already looking forward to our next visit!

The restaurant itself is really well designed--traditional meets modern in a way that somehow works. Looking at the tiles and wall coverings individually, you might think, "Oh...interesting choice." But put it all together and it's actually quite harmonious. Design math, apparently. We started with drinks. I had one of their daiquiris, and it was perfect. I'm a whiskey girl, but after some enthusiastic pours the night before, the thought of more whiskey was a hard no. The daiquiri was light, refreshing, and tasty--sweet, but not obnoxiously sweet. And most importantly, it tasted absolutely nothing like whiskey. Mission accomplished. For starters, we ordered the Brie brûlée. I was a fan. The husband was...not. Here's how you do it: take a wedge of their freshly baked toasted bread, slather on some strawberry jam, dip that glorious situation into the pistachio-dusted Brie brûlée, eat, and repeat. And repeat. And repeat. I eventually had to intervene with myself. I ordered the beet and peach salad without the beets because, well...gross. The peaches could have been a little riper, but the salad was still really good. Nicely dressed, with candied pumpkin seeds and some kind of soft herbed cheese that pulled everything together. Very tasty, and thankfully no beets were harmed in the making of my dinner. Then came the meatballs. I have never in my life had meatballs that tasted like these, and I mean that as a very good thing. They were herbaceous, tender, with just a hint of sweetness. And somehow, they kept getting better as we ate them. Especially the ones at the bottom, sitting in all that sauce. DO NOT PASS THESE UP. The husband ordered the prime rib, which he rated an 8 out of 10. High praise, friends. This man does not hand out 8s like participation trophies. Service was great, the food was genuinely enjoyable, and the whole experience was exactly what we wanted on our last night in Indy.

We've now been here FOUR times, at different times of the day, and have had completely different food each time. I've always had at least four people with me, and we've ordered different things off the menu. Every single dish has been great, and the service? ALWAYS exceptional! Tonight, my daughter ordered chicken, and the cook put an extra piece on her plate because all the pieces were small. Just in case you missed what I just said... THAT is the kind of service people gave back in the '80s when I first started working. This isn't fancy food. It doesn't have to be. It's just GOOD FOOD! The building itself is a reminder of days gone by. And that mummy at the entrance? It nearly made me have a slight accident when it moaned! I walked past, looking longingly, past the next sports bar, a torta place, the hole in the wall, and towards the new apartments when my courage finally reared. I returned (luckily downhill) and passed the other bars where people were transfixed on the home opener of the pacers and nuggets. Good for them. My heart was on food and a recommendation from a friend I just met after having moved here. I walked in to the host stand at a bar and asked if I could sit; they said sure, but the bar is over there and pointed to an ante room near the kitchen. A new room, a new adventure, and the smells and music flowing out transfixed me. I found a stool, took a deep breath, and started to peruse and study the cocktail menu and constantly changing main menu. I ordered a beverage, Alex dutifully told me what was available and really just sauntered into my meal. Starting with oysters on seaweed with vinegar mignonette hit the briny taste point I needed against my drink. The roasted carrots with pomegranate and gravy were divine and hot with Cambrian chili slices. I followed that with the pricci pasta dish and the yogurt sauces mixed with the harissa lamb just sang on my taste buds. However; I did look. At the desert menu before ordering my main. Knowing how the pastry chef is acclaimed and is currently having a moment. That dessert, amazing. So fucking amazing. The custard pie was like someone figured out how to deconstruct a milk caramel, put it onto the top of a brown sugar tart that just melts in your mouth like a sugar cookie batter before it sets. This custard tart took longer to get off of my plate than the time it took me to eat the rest of my meal. I tasted each component, savored every last morsel, and shared bits with those on either side of me. Divine is not enough of an adjective with the prowess to express my gratitude. The team at the bar were not only attentive, they were my friends and helped me thoroughly enjoy my first Friday night out in a new city. They are a family and I felt a part of that for my 1.5 hour meal. 5/5 would recommend. DO NOT SKIP THIS PLACE!!!

We came by on a Tuesday around 4ish but apparently they only serve a snack menu between 4-5. We waited until closer to 5 and came back, then were seated immediately. The service was great and I loved the ambiance. There was plenty of natural lighting and it just felt calm. To drink, I ordered the redrum cocktail and it was soo good, almost just tasted like apple cider. They change the menu everyday so you don't really know what there will be until you get there (but the menu online was kinda similar to what they had). To eat, we shared the grilled bread, red leaf salad, casarecce, patatas bravas, and beef tri-tip. This might have been too much for just the two of us lol, and we probably could have done without the potatoes because they were the most meh out of everything. I think I only ate one or two. The grilled bread came with the most delicious butters (I think one was chive and one was honey cinnamon) and some olive oil with garlic, soo good. The red leaf salad was amazing. I love that they clarify the apples are jonathan apples (my favorite variety)--it was definitely one of the most perfect fall salads and I would love to try recreating it myself. The casarecce came with a pesto sauce and it tasted so fresh. The beef tri-tip was good, but nothing spectacular. For dessert, we ordered the pumpkin ice cream and omg it was amazing--might have been one of the best pumpkin ice creams I've ever had. It tasted exactly like pumpkin pie filling. We also got the croissant pudding (like bread pudding but with croissants) and it was also so delicious. Definitely don't skip on desserts if you come here because they are worth it.
