Empanada Combo. Birria, beef...the pineapple w/cheese with my fave! Chores are hidden under the sauce. Yum!
Venus M.

No dine-in. We were looking forward to dining in. There is only a drive-through. They take your order at drive-through and have you park and they bring it out to you. Update: the employee came out and handed us our food. Very nice and friendly guy. He informed us that the dining room should be opening up in April I believe? I ordered the empanada combo! So delicious! I can't get over the churros, they are the best!

EMPANADA COMBO

Holy moly, how have I not been here until now? These empanadas are DELICIOUS. Light, pillowy dough, flavorful fillings, and just the right size. The combo is the best bang for your buck - three empanadas, a small bag of the best crunchy housemade kettle chips I've had in a while, and two perfectly fried churros with delectable dolce de Leche for dipping. Joshua was awesome, taking time to chat with us about the different menu items, and his recommendations were spot on. Would love to try one of the sandwiches next time. FYI - They're in the middle of an expansion right now, so it's drive-through service only until the new dining room opens in May. Bonus, you also can pick up frozen empanadas to bake or air fry at home.

These might be the best empanadas I've ever had, no exaggeration! 10's across the board! They were very filling and so fresh! I love that they're cooked to order as well, so the temperature was hot. I had the buffalo chicken & Birria empanadas. I also had the dulce leches churro for a sweet snack after. The guy at the window was nice, typical. It's a drive-thru window but looks like there's some construction going on so they might be adding some dine-in space.

PORCHETTA SANDWICH

With all the hype from Guy Fieri and others I gave it a shot. The food was just ok. I can't say a lot but it was average. Seemed fresh. I will return and try other sandwiches. The empanadas were nothing stellar but average. I've had better. The fry oil was fresh so a plus there! The Porchetta with their version of chorizo was dry and bland. I think I prefer Mexican chorizo. The service was stellar! I really appreciate the patience of the young lady who took my order. She explained everything about the restaurant including the history? Inside the restaurant was cool decor. I give it higher stars for this!

Empanadas!

I am grateful Che Chori is close to my house! The empanadas are so good. The flaky crust is the 1 thing I absolutely need to be what I expect as it can make or break the empanada for me! Ive enjoyed all the fillings they have available and even the holiday or seasonal specials are fun too! I recently tried their pizza and that was REALLY good, the crust again, "chefs kiss"! Currently only available as drive thru pick up BUT soon will have their inside seating available. The service is always great. Good is also always freshly made. I cannot wait to enjoy their menu in their new indoor seating! Their decor and color scheme is so bright and vibrant, you cant help but BE HAPPY when you eat their food!! Their dessert offerings are fun and yummy too! Their alfajor for their Valentines special was so yummy!

Argentine Chorizo Empanada, Spanish Chorizo Empanada and Chicken Empanada

Wow, my previous review was three years ago! Definitely time for an update! We order food from here fairly regularly for work lunches and I love the box lunch which comes with any two empanadas, churros with dulce de leche and a bag of their homemade chips. All of the empanadas are delicious. They have traditional flavors and then have some fun with other fillings. One time they did an Oktoberfest theme and had bratwurst empanadas and I think even one with sauerkraut and sausage. I can't pick favorites as they are all so good but you can't go wrong with the Argentinian chorizo or chicken ones. I really like the spinach and butternut squash varieties too. The crust is tender and flaky and while fried, they're never greasy. The churros are amazing and I always save the leftover dulce de leche to put on other things like....anything...graham crackers...stir some in hot cocoa...cannot let it go to waste! The chips are excellent and I never have room to eat them right away so I can attest that they are still wonderful the next day. They will also cater big platters of empanadas which is perfect for a party. Stamping the type on each empanada is so helpful, particularly with platters. It keeps people from cutting them open to figure out which is which. I love that they do this!

Birria empanada!
Reese B.

The food was fantastic, delicious as always! The service was awesome too. The employee helped us with the menu and told us about any deals that may help us later! Excited for when there is indoor seating! I got the combo, it comes with three empanadas, two churros, and chips (they are good! I think they make them in house)

Stop what you're doing and go to Cho Foods--seriously. I've been three times this week and I'm not even mad about it . The birria and the butternut squash are my current obsessions, but the whole menu is stacked with delicious options I'm excited to try. Every visit has been a vibe--service is consistently kind and patient, and the person taking my order always has great recommendations (and doesn't judge me for coming back so often ). There's a drive-through for convenience, outdoor tables if you want to chill and eat picnic-style, and parking spots along the side for easy pickup. The food? Fresh, flavorful, and so good I almost broke into song in Spanish. Cho Foods is officially my new happy place. Can't wait to go back (again)!

Omg they catered an event i was attending and i had the pleasure of tasting their amazing menu items. I think i found a new way to eat corned beef and cabbage, but my favorite was the black pudding empanada. It was absolutely amazing.

Shannon N.

You guys are awesome! You greeted me with genuine smiles and enthusiasm. I can tell you enjoy sharing your delightful offerings with hungry patrons. I love the vegetarian Shepard's Pie Empanada. The churros with your signature dulce de leche sauce are a crowd pleaser for sure. Thanks again!

Absolutely delicious. Friendly, quick service and the food was hot and fresh. Very good value for the amount of food you get!!

Empanadas, chips, and churros.
Ro W.

Cute spot. Friendly service. I ordered the 3 empanadas (southwest and spinach)and chips. Plus the peach cobbler and ice cream. I'm not a fan of peach cobbler but surprisingly, it was the best one I had. My total for everything was about $21. The churros were also really good. The chips tasted homemade. The southwest had too many tomatoes for my liking.

Adriana T.

Do it! I did the drive thru and ordered the empanada combo and a couple extra. It was delicious!! I ordered the beef, Argentine chorizo, Mexican chorizo, birria, and pollo rojo (little spicy). They came with various sauces and I added the chimichurri. The combo came with chips and churros with dulce de leche!! The same price as a taqueria but a little different taste. Worth it! The person who took my order was polite and helpful with suggestions. They have a cute little space (I think it used to be a Rally's) with drive thru and outdoor carry out seating. After I ordered o waited about 10-15 minutes for my fresh food and indulged with my family at home. Stop today!

We started with the Angry Mac & Cheese, which we had never tried before, and wow -- it was phenomenal. The homemade cheese sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly smooth without separating. The andouille sausage and shrimp were cooked beautifully, and the cream sauce had incredible flavor with just the right subtle hint of spice. Absolutely perfect comfort food with an elevated twist. We sat outside on the patio enjoying the beautiful weather during Indy 500 race week, and the atmosphere could not have been better. Every table around us was full of people laughing, enjoying lunch, and soaking in the energy of the city. It was one of those perfect Indianapolis afternoons. For our mains, we both ordered the Cobb salad -- one with grilled chicken and one with fried chicken -- and both were outstanding. I still can't believe how large the "small" salads are! Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the homemade ranch dressing was absolutely delicious. The service, as always, was top-notch. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. From start to finish, it was such a fantastic lunch and overall experience. We loved every minute of it and cannot wait to come back!

Only downside is the parking situation--they really need their own dedicated parking because it can be a hassle. Other than that, I'd say it's a strong 4 stars and worth checking out.

I came here on a whim and I'm glad I did!…read more Kuma's corner kind of feels like a rock concert venue turned restaurant on the inside, with lots of memorabilia in there. There's a bit of grunge aesthetic too. I opted for the patio seating on the nice day that I visited. Service worked pretty quickly and friendly. I got a mocktail to start that was cranberry, orange, and pineapple juice. It was pretty yummy. I was far more impressed by the foooood! My partner and I split a burger and Mac and cheese. The size small was $9 and was honestly huge. It was definitely enough food for two. The burger we got was also a good size, and came with a lot of shoestring onion on top. The burger was $18 but it's a 10 oz patty which is practically a better deal than most other burgers out there. I'll be back again sometime for sure!

Zero proof drinks. There were some reviews about long wait times, non-toasted buns and the cost but the write up of the place itself gave me nostalgia vibes for a place called Cobra Burger in Richmond, VA so I had to try my luck. I really wanted to love this place, as I've not found anything like Cobra Burger here in Indy. When we arrived, around 6:45p on a Thursday, the patio had a good amount of people, but inside was pretty empty apart from the bar. We sat at a two top in the bar area. The music was at a pretty low volume, especially considering the amount of reviews that said otherwise. Our server was also bartender, so it initially took her a couple of minutes to come over, which is understandable. She took our order for drinks and then after bringing them back for the food. She was nice and provided good service although juggling tables and the bar, plus she was also pregnant. It took a very long time for us to get our food (close to an hour), despite three guys working the line in the kitchen, banging out burger after burger. The food arrived, hot and correct. Both my husband and I were disappointed that the reviews were right and the burger buns were not toasted. Non-toasted burger buns actually make the burgers harder to eat and less enjoyable. My burger was decent for a non-handmade vegan option; for the price my expectation is amor sophisticated/handmade creative one, but I am thankful that they had a vegan option at all. My husband thought his burger was just okay and that he's had better ones around Indy, so we probably won't be dining here again. For the size of the burger, they should bring you ample napkins without having to ask because it is very messy trying to eat them. For two burgers with fries, one small mac & cheese, and three beers (one regular and two nonalcoholic) before tip the bill was over $80. Now, if the food was top-tier fantastic, I would say fine but being that it was more middle of the road it's a bit pricey.

It's a Friday night and their advertised hours are Sunday through Thursday 11 am until 9 pm with Friday and Saturday closing at 10 pm. We decided to go at 9 fully expecting the dining room to be open since the hours are clearly posted and we arrived an hour before closing. To my surprise, we walked in and someone who I'm assuming is the manager looks our way and says to the hostess that they're only doing takeout. He clearly made that decision as we walked in. The dining room was empty except one couple who hadn't received their food yet. I could understand if it were 30 mins before, but an hour means you should just close at 9 pm everyday. A couple walked in minutes after us and were also given this information, but decided to leave instead of order. I did, however, order for my son since I opted out and he was looking forward to eating here. This was not how I expected to celebrate my son's birthday but was forced to even though they had roughly eight people "working" and were unable to accommodate three. This really left a feeling of disdain that I can't shake. I have no desire to patronize this establishment in the future as I was not welcomed during business hours this time. Hopefully this is a learning experience and they'll choose to service customers within reason.
