If it's good enough for Triple D (Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives), it's more than good enough for you and me. I drove by here all the time and then heard it was featured on Diners, Drive-In's, and Dives. I had been curious to try it out for a while now and I finally logged a couple visits. At the moment, they're only open for the drive through and curbside pickup while they're under construction to introduce indoor seating. I suppose I'll have to visit again to be able to rate the ambiance. I've had friendly interactions with both times I came. One time, I had the food brought out to my car, while the other time I had to drive back around to pick up my order. Both times, I got the empanada combo and that was well worth it! For $17 you get three empanadas, some churros and Dulce de leche, and house made kettle chips. I'll rank my favorite empanadas in order: Oreo cheesecake (oh yeah, you read that right!) Birria Argentine chorizo Creamy chicken S'mores Cheesy pineapple bacon These are all great. This was a hard list to make. I would definitely recommend all of them if you have the chance to order more. I also want to try all the empanadas on their menu eventually. The kettle chips are on the less salty side, which I prefer. I think they have a hint of sweetness to them. The churros... on their own they're pretty decent but the Dulce included? Next level. I always save my leftover Dulce to find something else to dip in it. How I have leftover is beyond me but I won't complain! Overall, I think Che Chori has a pretty expansive menu, considering that empanadas, burgers, and pizza are very different things. Holy moly, how have I not been here until now? These empanadas are DELICIOUS. Light, pillowy dough, flavorful fillings, and just the right size. The combo is the best bang for your buck - three empanadas, a small bag of the best crunchy housemade kettle chips I've had in a while, and two perfectly fried churros with delectable dolce de Leche for dipping. Joshua was awesome, taking time to chat with us about the different menu items, and his recommendations were spot on. Would love to try one of the sandwiches next time. FYI - They're in the middle of an expansion right now, so it's drive-through service only until the new dining room opens in May. With all the hype from Guy Fieri and others I gave it a shot. The food was just ok. I can't say a lot but it was average. Seemed fresh. I will return and try other sandwiches. The empanadas were nothing stellar but average. I've had better. The fry oil was fresh so a plus there! The Porchetta with their version of chorizo was dry and bland. I think I prefer Mexican chorizo. The service was stellar! I really appreciate the patience of the young lady who took my order. She explained everything about the restaurant including the history? I am grateful Che Chori is close to my house! The empanadas are so good. The flaky crust is the 1 thing I absolutely need to be what I expect as it can make or break the empanada for me! Ive enjoyed all the fillings they have available and even the holiday or seasonal specials are fun too! I recently tried their pizza and that was REALLY good, the crust again, "chefs kiss"! Currently only available as drive thru pick up BUT soon will have their inside seating available. The service is always great. Good is also always freshly made. I cannot wait to enjoy their menu in their new indoor seating! Their decor and color scheme is so bright and vibrant, you cant help but BE HAPPY when you eat their food!! My review is based on several really good door dash experiences: first they packaged the empanadas really well 2nd who cares about packaging - these empanadas are super tasty! Wow, my previous review was three years ago! Definitely time for an update! We order food from here fairly regularly for work lunches and I love the box lunch which comes with any two empanadas, churros with dulce de leche and a bag of their homemade chips. All of the empanadas are delicious. They have traditional flavors and then have some fun with other fillings. One time they did an Oktoberfest theme and had bratwurst empanadas and I think even one with sauerkraut and sausage. I can't pick favorites as they are all so good but you can't go wrong with the Argentinian chorizo or chicken ones. I really like the spinach and butternut squash varieties too. The crust is tender and flaky and while fried, they're never greasy. The churros are amazing and I always save the leftover dulce de leche to put on other things like....anything...graham crackers...stir some in hot cocoa...cannot let it go to waste! The chips are excellent and I never have room to eat them right away so I can attest that they are still wonderful the next day. They will also cater big platters of empanadas which is perfect for a party. Stamping the type on each empanada is so helpful, particularly with platters. It keeps people from cutting them open to figure out which is which. I love that they do this! read more

Such a wonderful change of pace than the standard fare you find. Traditional and eclectic empanadas served with an Argentine twist. The birria variety is unreal! They came with various sauces and I added the chimichurri. The combo came with chips and churros with dulce de leche!! The same price as a taqueria but a little different taste. Worth it! The churros and the caramel are hands down delicious and you should go get some!! It's been a while since I've been here and when I'm this side of town I had to stop! It was later in the evening and unfortunately didn't taste as great as the first time I went. Perhaps the empanadas I had were already cooked once because they were so greasy that I could barely taste the meat. The guava and cheese empanada wasn't as greasy and heated up well the next day. I went through the drive though and didn't know they had numbers to wait for your order. My wife and I was in Indy for the weekend. While we were watching Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives; we noticed Che Chori was showcased. Because of thar episode, we just had to try it. Guy Fieri showcased 2 sandwiches: the Choripan and the Porchetta. I was intrigued by the Prochetta. The meat was a grilled pork chop. It was a little fatty but the pickled onions and chimichurri pit the zest in this sandwich. To be honest, I felt like my jaw had to do a lot of work on the sandwich though. I wished I went with the other sandwich. My sandwich came with fries. They have a chimichurri mayo that I highly recommend to eat with the fries. But the real stars of Che Chori are the empandas! My wife let me taste some of hers and that is what I am getting next time as there are several to choose from. Be prepared to wait but the empandas are worth it! read more

This place is awesome! I've wanted to come here for some time but finally made it! It is a small building but has good signage from the street and is colorfully decorated so you can't miss it. Once you drive in if you are ordering you can drive around the building, place the order in their to-go windows and then drive to one of several (like 8 maybe) spots reserved for waiting for orders. We were meeting a friend to eat there so we parked a bit behind the building, and there are a few spots but sort of out of sight. Once you enter you notice there is a small bench where you can sit but basically you order to-go. They do have outside picnic tables though so for a nice day you can eat there just outside. We did that even though it was a bit chilly. The menu has a lot of empanada options (some online that are specials so ask at the store about those) and then other items like Argentinian chorizo sandwiches and churros. We stuck with empanadas as that is what we were craving. They have several vegetarian ones, several meat and one vegan option even. Nice variety! We tried chicken, spinach, butternut squash and for dessert a guava and cream cheese. They are all marked on the outside so you know which is which when I'm the bag. The waiter brought them out to us which was great and kind. I especially liked the spinach as it was creamy and gooey with the right kind of mix of flavors. The pastry used is also very light and flaky, not super dense or fried which gives it a better flavor in my opinion. Delicious! The others were also amazing and the guava was the perfect combination being to the meal. We would highly recommend this spot for empanadas! And it is a fun snack or meal to go or to sit and enjoy. We asked what is popular and the staff was helpful in explaining some of the options we were less familiar with. It was a nice day so we sat outside on the picnic tables to enjoy the sunshine with our meal. The food was hot and delicious! The superstar for us were the churros!
