We sat at the bar and were very well taken care of by Christian, who provided excellent service from start to finish. I decided to order the empanadas, guac, and churros from the happy hour menu. Everything was $5/each. I went with the steak empanadas, cuz unfortunately you can't mix and match flavors. For me, the texture was a bit off. Christian noticed my hesitation right away and kindly offered to replace them. He brought out the chicken empanadas instead, and they were much better. Not phenomenal, but enjoyable. My classic margarita was refreshing... until the manager offered me a sample of the Carriage House margarita. Whew! Yaaaass! That was deliciously potent! Easily two drinks in one, so pace yourself. It has officially become my new go-to leaded bev when dining here. If paella is your thing, I'd absolutely recommend it. That's usually my standard order. But just a heads up... sometimes it can be a lil like my friend when my outfit is cuter than hers - salty! So, you may find yourself needing another margarita to help balance your palate. Pretty good! We dined as a large group outside (yay for heaters). Great and attentive service. No complaints. Food came pretty quickly. I order guacamole, but also tried the ceviche and cauliflower - all good! I was impressed by the ceviche. I got the taco salad for my entree. It was just okay for me. 5 years later and at it again. Devour Indy, that is. Yet, this time $30 for their 3-course meal. There was a foul odor when I entered the restaurant. I selected a quiet, corner booth / table. This time I tried their unique 2 steak empanadas and the lamb quesadilla with customized salsa. I think the flan was the same sugar cream flan with caramel and whipped cream. I was originally told the flan would be chocolate, which apparently is their regular flan, not the Devour Indy option. The service was very slow for my friend's 1st visit and my 1st dine-in experience when it was not busy; we forgot that my meal included a dessert. The taste were fine. Like it's downtown version, Livery in Noblesville is great. The ambience isn't quite as cool/vibey as the location on Mass Ave, but the service is still very friendly and the food/drinks are great. Highly recommend getting empanadas to start - we ordered the corn and steak, and I'd give a slight edge to the steak empanadas. The skirt steak is one of the best entrees in Indy when you account for flavor, portion size, quality, and price. With this being a little closer to our new home in Westfield, we will be back! read more

Livery is a Latin American restaurant with a great vibe. Richard our server was very professional and to the point . The food was very unique and very well made. The Yuca fries were delicious. I think the Tostones salad stood out with its deep fried plantain base that gave a very chewy yet delicious texture and flavor. We tried the queso empanadas which tasted so much like the Indian samosa (sans the cheese filling). I believe there's a big variety of drinks, we tried the Harvest glow since we don't drink. The Livery truly delivered (pun intended) - in service, quality of food and overall dining experience. I had two of my favorite appetizers: the roasted cauliflower and the crispy Brussels Sprouts. - The Cauliflower: This is a standout dish. Perfectly roasted with just the right amount of char, tender on the inside, and seasoned so well that you didn't want to stop till it was all gone. It was hearty enough to feel like a dish of its own, not just a side. - The Brussels Sprouts: Crispy edges, savory seasoning, and just the right balance of tang and sweetness--each bite had layers of flavor. They came out hot and fresh. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and everything came out in a very timely manner. We stopped in Livery Noblesville when we were out shopping. I have been to the downtown location many times and found myself on the north side in Noblesville and knew I really enjoy the food here so we stopped. The hostess received us promptly and asked if we wanted to sit on the patio and we thought it might be too windy but she said that it would not with the walls at either end so we gave it a shot. The patio was perfect and there is a little courtyard next to it for children to play. Our waitress came out and asked if we had been there before and 2 of us had and 2 had not so she explained the lunch specials and answered any questions we had. I love the cauliflower dish and I ordered it again along with the street corn. My friends ordered from the lunch specials menu and enjoyed their picks from it. I rarely go to Livery without ordering the cauliflower dish and it never fails to impress me. The street corn was delicious as well, the cotija cheese giving it a saltiness that I really enjoyed. They did give me the option of having it on or off the cob. I had a couple cocktails as well. I started with the el rudo that was prepared with Woodford Reserve and licor 43, pink grapefruit, Demerara simple syrup but it was not sweet at all and had a good balance. The next drink I tried was the la Soledad fire and it was mezcal, ginger simple syrup, coconut syrup, muddled jalapeño, pineapple juice and lime. We have eaten at the Livery on many occasions and have been very pleased, however this experience did not LIVE up to the typical quality and expectations. Ordered the skirt steak which appeared to be plated with cheese wiz verses the hot tomato cream sauce and the polenta was lacking both texture and taste. After one bite my dish and seeing how the paella had been downsized, we decided to not continue with the meal. Very disappointing, but the manager acknowledged some changes to the preparation and gladly agreed to not charge as we sent both meals back. read more

Big fan of Livery! This was my first time at this location since we were in the area. We decided to sit at the bar and were greeted immediately. My fiancé and I both got spicy margaritas, which were very good! We ordered the chicken empanadas and yuca fries and really really enjoyed them as always. Wanted to try something different from my usual entree, I went with the pork belly dish, which came with potatoes and spinach. We had never visited Livery Noblesville before but we're in the neighborhood at an Emagine movie and decided to stop for an early dinner. The restaurant is nicely decorated and also has an inviting patio for seasonal weather. We were seated quickly without a reservation and waited on by our server. He was friendly and attentive to our requests and did a nice job. I had a Livery margarita that was delicious and did an empanada/salad lunch special. Love that there is a large parking lot for this shopping center. The space is big and contemporary, even on a busy Friday night you can still hear your date. The empanadas were great. Crispy, not greasy, right amount of dough to filling. Mushroom filling was cheesy and 5/5, steak was kinda simple or plain or lacking flavor or 3/5. The paella ain't paella. It's slightly greasy chorizo fried rice. It is however, quite flavorful. The shrimp were unfortunately overcooked. The single scallop was excellently cooked and a highlight. 3.5/5 The flan is knock your socks off. My date and I both said it's the best flan we have ever had. No notes. Get the flan. 5/5. I cannot overstate how bad it smelled in the restaurant. It smelled like sulfur and hard boiled eggs and a dirty bird cage and Big Foot's butt and a sewer explosion. It smelled immediately when we walked in. It smelled by our table. It smelled throughout the place. At one point the dirty diaper smell had the addition of what smelled like a Glade aerosol on top of the dirty diaper smell. I hope this was a one time incident. We talked about leaving multiple times but it was late on a Friday night and we were unsure of where else to go. If you go in and it smells, get some flan to go. read more

I got the chicken enchiladas last time. They were just ok. As someone who grew up on Mexican/Spanish food I expect some heat but this county doesn't really do heat. In fairness I got the beef empanadas and they were really good but again can't mix and match, you have to commit to three beef empanadas. I guess I have commitments issues? The guac needs salt and more flavor. I think of guac as onion, garlic, harsh chili, salt, lime, salt, cilantro, salt. I think theirs was just avocado. Yes I like salt. The place is promising. It's a good spot they just need to tweak the menu variety and add some heat options. Service was good... maybe a bit much (read the room) but good atmosphere and nice people. read more

Always a great experience at Livery, the staff is knowledgeable about the entrées and it's a crowd favorite with my friends! On this visit I opted for the Paella. I was warned about the spice, went with the spicy sauce on the side... thankful our waiter suggested I go that route, it was perfect. The food...so good. We did devour menu. Empanadas were great. The main thing I would say is save your money on paella and DO NOT GET THE SCALLOPS it's only 1 scallop. I still absolutely adore the Livery. The food is nothing short of fantastic. My favorite is still the green chile lamb - i recommend it to everyone! The past few times we've had trouble with service. This time around it took us about 20 minutes to get sangria. We ordered a cocktail before we received our mains and ended up cancelling because we never received it and had finished eating. Our waitress was almost never around, we were having a hard time finding a straw and a new fork (i ended up asking someone else who dropped off our food). The restaurant is in a nice shopping center. Parking is easy and the restaurant is very nice. I ordered pick up and my order was hot and ready at the expected time. I was really exited about trying the Livery, but I think that I ordered the wrong things? I ordered the yucca fries, which I really liked. The queso that came with it was also very good. I also ordered the queso empanadas and some potato dish. The initial flavor of the empanada was very good, but then a bitter taste kicked in. I'm not sure what the crust is made of, but it was bright orange. The potato dish with tomatoes and mushrooms was not to my liking at all. I ate two bites and then packed it back up. I think that I would go back and try other menu items but my first experience with Livery's food was disappointing. read more

I'm so bummed as this is/was one of my favorite restaurants. This review is only to address my allergen experience. I am severely allergic to butter and oil. I have to take pills when I eat to digest food and I cannot have butter or oil - my body won't digest it. My husband, son and I want to celebrate my husbands new job and I gave my restrictions right away.
