I was pleasantly surprised to discover El Porto today! It's located where Queso's once was off of Hazel Dell and 146 in Noblesville. I had the Veggie Enchiladas and they were some of the best enchiladas I've had in Indiana in a while. My husband had the Chorizo Quesadilla and loved it. The guacamole is also delicious! All of the staff were so welcoming and seem very dedicated. I will definitely be back to enjoy the patio and cute decor! Thank you

Came here for quick lunch alone! Special lunch menu. I tried fajitas that were amazing! Chicken had great flavor and veggies cooked to perfection. Crispy and full of flavor. Will have to come back to try more menu options. Lots of seating avail. Full bar although don't try anything.

This place never disappoints, I've already come back more times than I can count. David is such a great waiter and is very attentive. If you catch Luis at the bar, he'll treat you right with the perfect beverages he creats for you. I love the music and the atmosphere is always welcoming! I highly recommend coming here again and again.

Corn from a can, store-bought salsa, and flavorless chicken fajitas--just not worth it. It felt like a waste of money for us.

The staff is incredible and has gotten to know us so well that they already know our orders when we walk in. That kind of service is hard to find these days. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. I usually get the Tres Tacos, but every now and then I'll order the steak tacos instead. No matter what I choose, they are always seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. My husband gets the Alambre every single time and says it's the best in Indianapolis. After stealing a few bites over the years, I can see why. The chips and queso are absolutely amazing. We always start with them, and honestly, I could make a meal out of the queso alone. Their margaritas are also fantastic. They're huge, taste great, and they definitely don't skimp on the tequila. Like everywhere else, we've noticed prices have gone up over the years, but we still feel like the quality and portions make it worth it. What keeps us coming back every week is not just the food. It's the people. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like part of the family. If you're looking for great Mexican food and a restaurant where you're treated like more than just another customer, Rio Grande is the place. We love it and will keep our Friday night tradition going for as long as we can.

The salsa is our fav we do add pepper to it. The white queso and guac and beans are delicious. Occasionally, we get the fried ice cream which is phenomenal! Must try, note they usually get busy crowd starting at 5 pm.

The food is the most authentic Mexican cuisine we've had in the Indianapolis area, and the service was excellent. There were lots of staff on hand to serve, prepare food and make us feel welcome. The facility is very clean and open. Not much decor like you would see at a traditional Mexican restaurant. Our waitress was vey friendly and professional. She even made the tamales! The chips were very crisp and tasty. They were a bit greasy. The waitress did an excellent job keeping the chips coming as we were hungry. The salsa was inconsistent. The first batch was very thin and had a watered down spicy taste. In this batch the salsa dropped off the chip. The second round was thicker. It had a fine chopped consistency. It was much easier to scoop up and had a nice fresh taste. There was some spice but not much. The waitress did bring us a bottle of hotter salsa which was very hot! My wife ordered the tamales. She thought they were very good! I ordered the shrimp enchiladas. The shrimp plentiful however I thought they were a bit over cooked as they were a little chewy. The white was was very good. It had a smooth cheesy taste without an over powering cheese taste. Some Mexican restaurants will serve their white sauce with a slight seafood flavor. This was a little more bland. The rice was soft and spiced like you would expect - very good! The refried beans were tasty though I thought they were a little thinner in consistency than I would prefer. Overall very good place to eat! Give them a try!!

Chips are served with salsa which is like our homemade and the ranch dip has a nice kick. We loved it and quickly got addicted. Steak burrito was just flavorful steak and cheese. Wonderful! But man...Everything comes frozen. I didn't realize a chile relleno could come frozen but Chuy's found the supplier that makes it. And it's awful for what it is.. two completely identical, DEEP fried from frozen chile rellenos are quite an alarming spectacle to behold, if I'm being honest. My fiance had steak tacos and he said they were cold. The steak was NOT from a freshly made steak; it was like the pre-sliced cuts of meat you get for salads and such. The person behind us also got tacos and theirs were out less than 5 mins after they ordered. Big red flag, especially the server saying, "look how quick that was!" We won't be back. It is NOT worth the price you're paying.
