    I was pleasantly surprised to discover El Porto today! It's located where Queso's once was off of Hazel Dell and 146 in Noblesville. I had the Veggie Enchiladas and they were some of the best enchiladas I've had in Indiana in a while. My husband had the Chorizo Quesadilla and loved it. The guacamole is also delicious! All of the staff were so welcoming and seem very dedicated. I will definitely be back to enjoy the patio and cute decor! Thank you

    Came here for quick lunch alone! Special lunch menu. I tried fajitas that were amazing! Chicken had great flavor and veggies cooked to perfection. Crispy and full of flavor. Will have to come back to try more menu options. Lots of seating avail. Full bar although don't try anything.

    This place never disappoints, I've already come back more times than I can count. David is such a great waiter and is very attentive. If you catch Luis at the bar, he'll treat you right with the perfect beverages he creats for you. I love the music and the atmosphere is always welcoming! I highly recommend coming here again and again.

    Corn from a can, store-bought salsa, and flavorless chicken fajitas--just not worth it. It felt like a waste of money for us.

By the way and more importantly, Moira greeted us right away and did everything to make us comfortable including allowing us to move to the patio. It's great out here and they've done a good job trying to hide the traffic on 116th. Here are my impressions: Seating, very comfortable and much nicer than I thought. Ambiance, higher end than I thought after seeing photos Wine, the Sancerre was light, not too sweet, and delicious, nice finish. Seaweed salad, delicious! Delmonte roll, Toro (tuna belly!) absolutely wonderful and I enjoyed it to the last bite. Lobster roll, lots of lobster in a light dressing of kimchi mayo on top of the veggie roll. Presentation, all of the dishes came out looking very appetizing. Dessert, Lemon Possette, is fabulous! Custard like but creamier/looser towards the bottom with jam and fresh tanneries on top. It's difficult to stop eating! Chris, the owner, took the time to stop at our table and have a lovely conversation with us and we're so glad he created this touch of Monterey (CA) here in central Indiana. This restaurant is a definite thumbs up!

Food breakdown: - Crab cakes: succulent lump crap meat within a lightly battered and flash fried coating. They come on a bed of arugula with a light dressing and dipping sauce for the cakes. Super yummy! - Crab & artichoke dip: ooey gooey deliciousness, perfect balance of cheese sauce too. You don't have to search for the crab or artichokes. And the fried naan chips were sliced long and thin, and could've been called naan fries actually. Perfect companion for the dip. - Fried catfish sammich: the piece of fish was huge and the batter was good. It came on Texas toast with fixins and tartar sauce. Won't lie, the only thing I wanted for was some hot sauce. That's a me problem... just gotta have hot sauce when I eat fried fish but I didn't ask for any while I was there (they may offer it) and still very much enjoyed the sandwich. - Filet: it was great... hubby got it medium and it arrived perfectly cooked. The Demi glaze sauce was so good and so were the sides. Their collard greens are seasoned up! I said does my auntie work here?! This cuisine is so comfortingly southern and didn't disappoint.
