If I could give this place no stars, I would. The food is too expensive and nasty. I ordered chicken enchiladas with red sauce, and I got a tortilla with fibrous chicken and a red sauce mixed with mole. It was disgusting. The guacamole was brown, and I got a dollop of sour cream. My mother-in-law is from Monterrey, Mexico, and she would chastise me if she knew I ordered food from this place instead of making it as she has taught me. Furthermore, the huge lummox, who claimed to be the manager, was rude and attempted to physically throw me out because he served nasty food. He did not want the other customers to hear what I was saying, which is understandable. Still, hear me out so you can do better. But wait, he even tried to speak to the others around him in Spanish about me, as if I did not understand him. I speak Spanish, too, but perhaps my darker skin confused him. There are more people who look like me who speak Spanish because we speak the language of our captors. He needs a history lesson. This place is for people who are not accustomed to eating REAL Mexican food. The stuff they serve here is not good, and the service is even worse. Tex-Mex is not Mexican food. read more

Visited Cabo's the other night for dinner. Went on a Thursday when the daily margarita special was $6.99. (Pre Covid it was $3.99). We sat in the bar area and ordered the Fajita Nachos with chicken. We ordered them without green bell peppers. They arrived at the table with bell peppers. They quickly remade the nachos which were very good. They were hot and filling. The server was friendly but our bill was incorrect. We were charged full price for the margaritas... not the daily special price. They corrected the over charge. We found the chips and salsa bland. No salt on the chips and the salsa lacked much taste. We may return. We visited often pre-Covid. read more

Stopped in late on a Monday and the place was empty. We had planned on dining in, but opted for to go! There were quite a few servers standing around in the back and it took a little longer than it should have to be acknowledged. Finally a friendly lady came and took our order. We got Arroz con Pollo and Steak Tacos. The food came out in 5 min literally which was a bit concerning and led me to believe that quite possibly things were just sitting up waiting to be microwaved once ordered but idk. The Arroz con Pollo was quite small and barely had any chicken on it. The steak tacos were just ok. The experience was less than desirable and I'm not sure we'll give it another try. read more

This is my second visit to Cabos for a family dinner. I see why my mother-in-law enjoys them so much. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. Their food has been consistently tasty and always comes out hot. And their Margaritas are excellent and not on the weak side, lol! After one this mama was happily done :) If you are ever looking for a strong Maragrita this is your place on the Northside of Indy. We were in town for a basketball tournament and ended up here because every place we wanted to go to was packed. I wish we would have just gotten McDonald's. The food came out in less than 10 minutes, should have been our first clue it wouldn't be good. The burritos were small, tasteless. The Taco salad was mostly lettuce, barely any chicken & their queso looked more like milk than cheese. Our waitress while sweet, took our order, dropped off our food and never checked in on us. We were out of drinks, and never offered refills. When we were ready to go she was sitting with other servers, on her phone with her back turned to her tables. I've lived in Westfield for 2 years now and have been going to Cabos consistently during that time. Whether I do carry out or eat in the restaurant, the food is quality and the service is great! On my recent visit, I sat alone in the bar area. The waiter was very attentive (this does not always happen when alone at a restaurant). I got a small queso and a combo dinner (it came with a taco, burrito and rice or beans). For $8.99 for dinner, the combo was a steal and way too much food for just me! Overall, I highly recommend Cabos. They also recently updated their menu as well and have lots more options! read more

Have always been skeptical because of the 3.5 stars, but finally gave in and tried Cabos! Was pleasantly surprised by the decor, don't be fooled by the drab strip mall exterior. We were sat immediately and our waiter brought chips and salsa as we sat down. Ordered fresh guacamole and it was fantastic. Highly recommend. We each ordered an entree, Carnitas /Chicken Fajitas / Combo dinner. Everything was pretty much on point. No real complaints. Will need to come back and try some different menu items. read more

Cabo's is a favorite spot for us to to its location in proximity to where I live. The staff is friendly and they are quick to get the chips and salsa on the table which is always a hit--especially when you are starving. There's nothing like having a quick fix. Their food is good. Nothing extraordinary exciting, but goodnonetheless. No complaints. If you go often enough, the staff will get to know you (not by name, but by fsce) and engage with you on a acquaintance-level. I gobbled it down like I was on death row and this cheesy deliciousness was my last meal. Imagine my delight when a week later, we decided to go back. Deciding what to order was the easiest decision I had ever made. Well, imagine my disappointment when it came out and it was not the same. Runny queso that permeated everything on the plate. Rubbery shrimp. Wilted lettuce and not even enough guacamole to claim it was on the plate. It was sad, y'all. But I can't forget how good that first one was! Located in the Kroger shopping center, the exterior isn't impressive but the interior is very nice. Unique atmosphere, very pleasant and appears very clean. Service was excellent and our meals were served quickly. Our drinks were promptly refilled. My friend was very pleased with her entree but my veggie burrito was bland and ordinary. The side of rice was tasty but not especially spicy or flavorful. The salsa and chips lacked authenticity, tasting like they came from the grocery store. I will probably try Cabo's once more time but there are many Mexican restaurants in this area. Bland and ordinary just won't make it. read more

Cabos is close to our new home, so I'm sure we'll be visiting often. I had the Carnitas, which is always one of my favorites at every Mexican restaurant I go to. Carnitas is basically just a slow-roasted pork, along with refried beans and Pico. You'll receive three corn or flour tortillas, and you basically make a fajita meal out of it.
