An old friend recommended this restaurant and what we ordered was very good. At first we weren't great as we walked in and then we were seated then 7-8 minutes later someone took our order. We ordered papa huancaina, tostones, lomo saltado, and caldo de gallina. The papa needed a touch of salt but I added the green spicy ahi and wow! It tasted so delicious! The limo saltado was on point and loved that they kept the fries on the side so they don't get soggy. The tostones weren't the best. They should've been mashed thinner and seasoned after the second fry or served with a dipping sauce which we did ask for. The soup was perfect for my tummy since I wasn't doing so well. I was restored!! They didn't seem very busy since as patrons came in some were done and had a good flow. I loved the music playing on the large screen; it really makes you feel as if you're in Peru. The restroom was ok the tile floors can be cleaned better.

This might be the best hidden gem in Indy! This is the best we have found outside of Miami! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and amazing. If you have never tried Peruvian before, you might need help with the ordering. Once you learn, you will be amazed at the amazing flavors!

I ordered through Uber Eats, so I've never actually been inside the restaurant. I ordered ceviche, fried rice, yuca with the delicious cheese sauce. Moved to Indy from Florida & was really really excited to be able to get fresh ceviche as most places in the area literally cook it and then add it for ceviche. The food was DELICIOUS, fresh, and packaged well for delivery

Best peruvian food!!

The food here is delicious, it's fresh, well seasoned, plus they always have good Latin music playing.

Very excited to have a new Peruvian restaurant in Indy. Food: Lomo saltado was very over cooked and filled with onion 3/5 Causita de pollo: great presentation and taste 5/5 Ceviche shrimp and fish: very tasty needed salt too sour 4/5 What I did not enjoy was the service. My server, Rosa, first thing she asked me after I said hello was if I was Peruvian and if I speak Spanish. I told her I wasn't but I'm fluent in Spanish then proceeded to only speak to me in English. Seemed to be in a bad mood throughout my meal. Overall the food was good but over priced. I would expect these prices in Miami and Indianapolis

What a fantastic place, food was delicious. So flavorful and a great selection. Service (Steve I think) was so kind and helpful. Will definitely be back so many more dishes to try.

This is a great casual Peruvian spot. My family is Peruvian and we were impressed by our recent Pisco Mar visit. We all ordered ceviches and each one had an authentic and fresh flavor. I like how you can select the spice level of your ceviche because I always prefer a spicier dish but my family members prefer mild. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Overall, I would recommend this spot if you are looking for a low-key spot and a delicious meal!

Tacu Tacu with Lomo Saltado- I like a lot of juice so I asked for extra when ordering.

We were very happy to see a Peruvian restaurant close to us- very good food! My husband is from Lima so we were very hopeful!! We had a glass of Chicha Morada- nice flavor. We had Chaufa with chicken- delicious, the special of the day - Tacu Tacu with Lomo Saltado (ask for extra juice)- it was SOOOOO good!!!! We also ordered ceviche- very fresh and plentiful, a steak dish (don't remember the name) steak was marinated nicely, fries, fried egg, white rice and plantains- a nice flavor, and finally we also ordered Tiradito Chorrillano. That dish was a little disappointing because the octopus was tough, but the flavor of it was excellent.

    Great food and great friends.

I had heard nothing but good things about this place, so I was very happy to have the opportunity to try their sandwiches. This is a very small space, with a very small kitchen, so it takes a minute for the food to come out, but it is done per order and very fresh, so it is worth the wait. The ambiance is old fashioned in my mind, but very cute and suitable for a sandwich place. I ordered the Milanesa de Polo Sandwich, which is a chicken tenderloin sandwich, and a side of the fried sweet potatoes. The food actually came out in a decent amount of time,so I was shocked and surprised, but very pleased at the same time. As expected, the food was incredible and terrific like I thought it would be. The sandwich was huge and had to use a knife and fork to eat it. The fried sweet potatoes were excellent and had a nice texture. They were very flavorful. The sandwich tasted amazing and was one of the best chicken tenderloin sandwiches I have ever had since living in Indy. Now I see why everyone loves this place so much, because the sandwiches are high quality and just so perfect!! Our server was wonderful and gave great recommendations on the menu items. Her recommendations were spot on and everyone enjoyed their sandwiches. The steak is also incredible, so I would highly recommend the Lolo Supreme sandwich. Don Juan V's sandwiches is a wonderful mom and pop business in Indy that is worth checking out if you are looking for a fresh good sandwich. Given it is a small venue, you may have to wait a bit for your food to be prepared and delivered to your table, so will need to have some patience if you dine inside, but trust me, it is worth it and you will not be disappointed. The sandwiches are just that amazing!!

We tried their fresh guacamole, arroz paisa, maracuya (passion fruit limeade) drink, and I got two Cuban sandwiches for the next day! The arroz paisa is to die for. For $15 you get this huge serving of fried white rice with soy sauce, Colombian sausage, steak, chicken, chicharron (more like grilled/fried pork than cracklin), & corn. It so had plantains in it which was a nice treat. It's hearty and filling and they don't skimp on the meat. Honestly it should probably be enough for two meals, but I totally demolished the whole thing. Their guacamole was chunky (the good kind), fresh, and super flavorful. The maracuya was the perfect level of sweet and a little tangy to balance out the salty of the arroz paisa ... A perfect combo! The Cuban sandwiches were definitely overshadowed by the arroz paisa, but were still delicious and loaded with ham. It might not be my first choice for a Cubano in Indy, but still give it a try! They were unfortunately out of Peruvian ceviche the night we ordered, but it sounds exotic and tempting so we're definitely going to order it again because I'm super curious if "tigers milk" is actually legit tigers milk...
