Good food discovered! Found this place as we were visiting for swim champions. The person working the bar and taking food orders was great. He made the experience visiting welcoming and chatted with me over the good being so good. The meatball sandwich was not drowned in sauce and the meat so tasted. Love it. Was told they cook and smoke their own meats. It shows! First time having Cowboy Caviar, heehee, and so glad we did. This seating inside and out is roomy. Plenty of parking in the lot. Drop by one and you will be back time and again.

Good spot to grab a beer and a bite. Staff is friendly and efficient. Good beer selection: there's something for everyone. Food is good: pretty good selection of appetizers and meals. We shared the Cowboy Caviar and enjoyed it. We also had the picked veggies which were ok. PARKING: lots of parking in a gravel parking lot. KID and DOG friendly.

Epic in all categories, and I hesitate as I write this as I want to keep this a best-kept secret, but against my better judgment, you have to try this place. Food, service, and the environment are Goldilocks level. If you are in Loomis, you have to stop by.

Cheap cheese nachos cmon man

Just Another fake tap house in placer county. We paid 32 bucks for this trash. Note to owner, use real warm cheese and taco chips that are not stale. Maybe get creative and add some tomatoes and other fixings that actually take time and effort. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Someone told us about this place and how they had really good beers, so we took a chance and walked on over. It was super laid back. Chill vibes, kiddos could be there, the train passed here and there, lots of choices no matter what type of beer you got and regulars that seemed pretty comfortable with their local pub and friends. We had some drinks, listened to some music that was being played by a guy and his brother and chilled for an afternoon. Nothing bad to say about this place, a nice hang out.

This place is fantastic and just the local go to bar I have been looking for since moving to Loomis last year! Service is incredibly friendly, food is good and a great rotating beer list! And in a great patio and we will definitely be regulars here...

Fun place to stop and eat. The wines were a bit on the jammy/sweet side but with a nice charcuterie board, you really can't complain. Generous portions and a good beer menu to appease all.

Hubby and I shared the mixed salad and the All American cheeseburger with fries. The salad was really refreshing and everything tasted fresh. I also love that they're a farm-to-table restaurant, which definitely comes through in the quality of the ingredients. The burger was also really good, juicy, moist, and cooked perfectly. But honestly, the best touch was the service. We mentioned we were sharing everything and the staff went above and beyond by cutting the burger in half and splitting the fries onto two separate plates for us. Such a simple thing, but it made the whole experience feel extra thoughtful. Of course I ordered some bubbly because... why not? And it was the perfect accompaniment. They also have a great happy hour, tons of wine options, and you can definitely tell this is a spot the locals love. It had a really nice neighborhood feel even though we were just stopping in before a show.

I had not been since the ownership transfer. I had my big dog thus a dog friendly patio with some cool air blowing was required to combat the 100-degree weather. The new ownership has made every effort to keep the patio cool during the high heat events, powerful cooling units were strategically placed throughout the patio. We were greeted by Lindsey who was an absolute gem and a Pitty lover! Brutus was happy on the cool concrete and grateful for the bowl of water that she gave him including the copious dog lovings. The owner happened to come by as well and he too was very friendly which set the tone for our visit. I was very much in the mood for sushi (because of the hot weather) which I planned to get a to go order from the place next store on the way home. I was satisfied with having a beer while my mom ate flatbread and enjoyed a cold one as well. However, when the flatbread came. I realized that things 'really' had changed at Citizen Vine. The offering looked great. I'm a foodie. I know at a glance and that's all that it took when here flatbread arrived. Which I enjoyed instantly. Sushi? What sushi? We followed up with some tacos. Boom, batting 2 for 2. Yep, the food game is legit at Citizen Vine, the beer was just what the Dr. ordered so I did not peruse the wine list, it was midday and hot! I'm going to roll the dice and believe that it's capable. The setting is clean and welcoming as was the team that put it all together. Yep, Citizen Vine is doing just fine and ripe for the picking!

Structurally, the venue presents an appealing, clean, and rustic aesthetic, yet this positive first impression is quickly undercut by a lack of basic hygiene. Specifically, flies were buzzing around the bathroom area during my visit. This failure in basic maintenance sets a concerning tone about the establishment's attention to detail, a gap that unfortunately extends directly into the front-of-house service operations. While the physical environment has its ups and downs, the service follows a similarly frustrating trajectory. The staff starts strong, providing good service right up until the food is delivered to the table. However, once the plates land, the waitstaff becomes entirely inattentive and detached overall. This post-delivery abandonment leaves me feeling neglected throughout the remainder of the meal, as routine check-ins and simple beverage refills are completely overlooked, heavily hindering what should have been a seamless evening. Fortunately, the kitchen crew operates at a much higher standard, delivering standout dishes that showcase genuine culinary talent. The Fettuccine Alaska is an absolute triumph, featuring a rich, velvety vodka cream sauce tossed with handmade fettuccine noodles that are wonderfully flavorful and buttery soft. The dish is elevated by smoked salmon that carries just the right amount of smoky depth without overpowering the plate. To finish the meal, the Tiramisu delivers excellent traditional flavors and a beautifully creamy texture, proving the food itself holds up to the social media hype. Regrettably, the stellar flavors are ultimately spoiled at the conclusion of the evening by predatory financial practices. The restaurant tacks on a surprise junk fee simply for the use of a credit card, which is advertised in such small font on the menu that it's hard if not impossible to notice. Still, this abuse of the customer. The bottom line is that the establishment serves very good food, but the overall experience is severely dragged down by inattentive service, bathroom cleanliness issues, and unnecessary fees.

I personally ordered the oysters and the duck leg confit. Honestly, everything we ordered, from the appetizers to the entrées, was absolutely amazing. The flavors were paired so well, and every dish was incredibly impressive. You could really tell there was a lot of thought put into the menu and the flavor combinations. The only downside was the bar service. There was only one bartender working, and our drinks took almost as long to arrive as our food. I ordered an extra dirty martini with olives, but when it arrived, it was essentially just vodka and did not have the dirty olive brine I had requested. I asked for some additional olive juice on the side so I could correct the drink myself, but unfortunately, that took another 30 minutes to arrive. That being said, the food absolutely stole the show. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality, presentation, and flavor. I would absolutely come back for the food and would love to give them another try. Hopefully, with a little more support behind the bar, the service will match the quality of the food.

We grabbed a seat at the bar and we're given waters and menus. Our server's name was John and he took great care of us. They have a nice selection of wines ranging from Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc on the white side to Pinot Noir, Mouvedra, and Cabernet Sauvignon on the red side. Bottle prices ranged from about $25 - $50. They don't do individual tastings on music nights; however, they were pretty generous with us and let us try a few of the different wines before we decided to get a bottle of Pinot Noir. Actually, everything we tried was delicious. They also have some light bites. We decided to get a charcuterie board that came with lots of great meats, cheeses, crackers, fruit, and nuts on it. This is a cozy place and the overall vibe was very enjoyable and inviting. We'll come back!
