Chips and salsa and hard kombucha
    Lydia A.

What a great spot to escape the heat. I loved my hard kombucha and we also ordered some chips with a kimchi like salsa that had the perfect about of slow heat and funk. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor seems like I decorated the place- I'd call it minimalist witchy plant lady[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and [[HIGHLIGHT]]they were playing cat videos.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What more could you ask for!

I got the probiotic lemonade and it was delicious. The hot dog was a little too sour, a little too much fermented things. Kind of punched me in the face. The beer was pretty decent. Not sure I would go again but it was a nice experience to try out.

Amazing place! The kombucha, hard seltzer, and probiotic soda are delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Also the patio is spacious and kiddo friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Kind staff! 10/10 recommend. Can't wait to come back and try the food!

The best appetizer in the Greater Sacramento Area! The "Fluff" will leave you wanting more and wanting to kiss the creative genius who created this masterpiece! Then you have to try every seltzer #latenightshenanigans and [[HIGHLIGHT]]take in the wonderful ambience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommended!

We always come here when we're visiting from out of town and wish there was a similar concept place near us. It has a great variety that makes it a great choice for a crowd. Everyone will have an option to choose even NA. Food is also good but they do allow you to bring in your own which is nice. Highly recommend checking this place out! The green zone dip is my favorite paired with whatever new seltzer or beer they have.

    This is THE spot!

Fruity seltzers? Check. Kombuchas? Check. IPAs, Blondes, Stouts? Check. Check. Check. ADD IN food that will satisfy your hunger but also make you feel fancy! Umm, yes please! [[HIGHLIGHT]]All the drink and food options are 10/10 and the vibe is comfortable and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Def making this my weekly spot!

Always a good go to place for seasonal rotating drinks! Love coming in and trying their kombucha and sour beers, they're always very accommodating and let you try all the drinks before deciding on one. There is even a choice to do a flight! Their Panini sandwich and chips were good! Just the right amount of food balanced with a drink. We LOVED the Chilean-style chimichurri, just be aware it has a kick! This time around, we sat at the bar and the owner Lauren was super nice and attentive! Love how transparent she is with her business and all the new ideas they plan to bring to their business in the near future. They do all kinds of events throughout the week, including trivia nights, and live music. They keep small signs showing dates of events to keep you updated if you want to enjoy extra entertainment or know when to come when it's a bit more lowkey. Outdoor seating is an added plus!

Is this a family friendly place, or a leave the kiddos at home kind of place?

There are always kids when we go and we always take our baby

    Are well-behaved dogs allowed inside?

What I heard the other night, indoors no with the food service. But they have a nice shaded outdoor patio that would accommodate you.

The whole idea of Tap Houses really does appeal to me…read more I love being able to just grab a glass and seeing all the beers on the wall and picking what I want and how much I want. The people who run Waymaker Brewing in Roseville are doing this at the highest level. I've been to this location a few times for different events and every time a wonderful time was had. So as far as the beers go they have around 40 different beers on tap and also they have 10 wines on tap as well. So exactly how it works is this- When you walk in you give them a credit/debit card-then they give you a wristband-next you grab a glass and go pick your beer or wine and you get charged by the ounce you actually pour rather than by the glass size. Then at the end of the visit, you turn in your wristbands and you get charged whatever it is you poured in total for the visit-I love the entire concept. It's a great way to be able to try many types of beer instead of just a few big beers. Now let's talk about the elephant in the room for Waymaker. The thing that makes this place unique is they have 6 golf simulators a person can rent depending on day and time anywhere from $35-$60 an hour and up to 6 people can play on the simulator at one time. On these simulators there are more than 200 virtual courses available. It's a crazy amount of fun for golfers of all skill levels There is also a hand roll sushi bar inside called Fire Fish where one can order sushi-hand rolls-flatbreads or various small plates. It really is an amazing place. They also have a massive big screen in the back that is furnished with comfortable couches and chairs in case one wants to just hangout and watch whatever live sporting event is happening that visit. Let's see my last few visits I've gone with my son and we played a round of golf at Pebble Beach on the simulator. I've gone to a birthday party for my boss and we had 2 simulators rented and we ate sushi rolls and flatbread while drinking a lot of beer. I've gone to do after work drinks with a friend while watching NBA playoff basketball. Visits to Waymaker can be so many things but I can say for sure every visit will be fun. So if you find yourself out in Roseville and want to try something a little different-head on out to Waymaker Brewing, it really is a great time. PS. Parking is a breeze as they share a big lot with lots of spaces with other businesses.

When the waiter brought my drink, I immediately noticed it didn't look like a traditional Piña Colada, and after tasting it, I confirmed it certainly didn't taste like one either. I politely asked if I could exchange it for a different drink. The waiter returned and said the manager wouldn't allow an exchange but would offer me 50% off instead. I explained that I wasn't happy with the drink and simply wanted to order something else. The manager came over and explained that the menu includes a disclaimer stating the cocktails are made with soju instead of the traditional liquor. In my opinion, the waiter should have mentioned that when I ordered, especially since it significantly changes the flavor. I hadn't noticed the disclaimer--I simply ordered what I thought would be a classic Piña Colada. Unfortunately, I was still charged half the price for a drink I didn't enjoy and wasn't allowed to order a replacement. The manager emphasized that it was too expensive for the restaurant to remake drinks, which I found disappointing. I've never had an experience like this at any other restaurant. On a positive note, I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries, and it was delicious. That was the highlight of the meal. However, the service was also lacking. Our waiter was slow and couldn't answer several of our questions without repeatedly leaving to ask someone else. Because of the poor customer service and how the drink situation was handled, I won't be returning.

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. The service was fantastic--super friendly, easygoing, and exactly what you hope for when you're settling in to enjoy a drink and unwind. Lots of areas there are to sit. Whether you want to be inside, out on the patio, or tucked into one of the many outdoor spaces, there's plenty of room to spread out. It's the kind of place where everyone feels comfortable. Families were out enjoying time together, kids running around having fun, and it was great to see so many people bringing their dogs along. We had our dog with us, which made the visit even better--any place that welcomes four-legged friends gets extra points. We tried a beer and a mead, and both were very good--refreshing and full of flavor. We also ordered a pizza, and despite the brewery being quite busy, it came out surprisingly quickly. Even better, it was delicious: hot, flavorful, and exactly what you want alongside a good drink. What really stood out was the overall vibe. It's lively without feeling crowded, relaxed but energetic, and the kind of place where you can easily spend an afternoon or evening. Dueling Dogs Brewing is definitely worth the visit. We'll absolutely be back--including of course , our 4 legged friend

I was sitting at the high-top table right next to the register on the right. Once I finished my drink, I happened to be the next person in line anyway, since there was a person at the front register already being serviced & the person at the register closest to me had just received their drinks. The employee in the picture below asked to "help the next person in line." At that point, I'd already stood up and was waiting to get another & someone else had just walked in, but stood in the "main line." In retrospect, maybe I should've stood in that main line to begin with, but the employee clearly saw me standing there looking directly at her w/ an empty glass in my hand. Then after I spoke up & said I was indeed next in line, told me "Oh, well yeah...." & proceeds to let the gentleman who'd walked in after close his tab first. He didn't say/do anything when she asked who was next in line at first (b/c he came in after)...until she summoned him over. I informed her directly after that I'd heard cashiers calling people over from both sides & was just saving a step by going to the one that I would've ended up at anyway. As a manager in the service industry previously, I can't imagine not helping the only person that CLEARLY stated they were NEXT in line first. Lol

The place was way bigger than what I was expecting! The parking lot is huge, and it was packed! You order your beverage and food at the bar and they pour you your drinks and give you a pager for the food. I was impressed to see the food was coming out of a food truck for how large the venue is. I was drinking the Mexican lager, served with salt and lime. I thought it was super tasty, I liked it a lot. My husband was drinking the hazy ipa which had a pretty high percentage, I believe like a 7.5%! It was surprisingly easy to drink and fruity. Food we ordered the BLT and it was served with house made pickles and potato salad. The potato salad had cheddar cheese inside it, I like that twist. I ordered the pizza pretzel and at first thought $18.50 is pretty steep pricing for a pretzel but let me tell you, the pictures do not do the size justice. It is literally the size of a pizza! So big, covered in mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Came with plenty of dipping sauce too. I loved it, it was so fresh and delicious, and perfect to share! I had more than half leftover to take home! Check this spot out it was pretty rad, they had live music and the vibes were great! We could've hung out here all day perfectly content.

Unfortunately, a couple of negative interactions with staff these past couple weekends have overshadowed what should be a great experience (we came twice and brought friends whom have never been before both times). On the two separate visits, I encountered employees (2) who were unfriendly, unwelcoming, and uninterested in customer service. On my most recent visit, one bartender was noticeably rude to me on more than one occasion during the same visit, so it didn't feel like a misunderstanding or an isolated moment. Later, I asked who the manager was because I had a question about the air bnb and was directed to another girl who appeared inconvenienced and offered no greeting or assistance. Even a simple "Can I help you with something?" would have gone a long way. I assumed the less-than-warm service might have been due to the crowds and busy environment, but after experiencing the same thing again on our next visit, it feels more like a personal issue than a one-off bad day. It's unfortunate because the property is beautiful, the beer is good, and this brewery has so much going for it. We bragged about this place to our friends and then felt embarrassed after we got the eye-roll treatment. With so many great breweries to choose from, friendly customer service matters. A smile, a greeting, and basic courtesy aren't a big ask, but they make a huge difference in whether customers decide to come back.
