Went to the Easter event at Dueling Dogs . This was our first time ever going here , we just moved to Sun City Lincoln Hills from the Bay Area. What an absolutely amazing and brilliant event , an Easter egg hunt for dogs with dog treats inside the eggs. All good dogs at the event. The beer pizza and service is 5 star. I highly recommend Dueling Dogs for a truly memorable experience with your family and dog. The grounds are beautiful and the facilities and workers are top notch. Won't hesitate to go back to Dueling Dogs. What a great place and even better idea

I saw online they had a lot of Halloween activities going on at this farm/brewery. We showed up a little late unfortunately my fault on a Friday so we were not able to have the pizza. The pizza did look delicious. The pizza they offer is wood fire. Can't wait to try it out next time I go. They had a pumpkin patch also a haunted hops field. My son and I walked through it. It's a lot of electronics. Pretty cool for Halloween. There's a lot of seating outside. They have this really cute pond in the middle. The inside is where they sell beer, wine and mead . There is also more seating in the inside area. The night, my son and I were there they had trivia at night. They had plenty of parking outside. They also have a little stage. I'm assuming they have live music at times. Overall, my son and I had a great time wish I would've got there a little sooner to try the pizza. Definitely gotta go back.

Being from a long line of many generations of brewing in both the US and Germany, it's rather ironic that I prefer wine! In any case, a group of friends came here to celebrate a post-birthday gathering, and it was wonderful. Tucked far away in a rural part of Lincoln, the atmosphere is both upbeat and fun, with a very surprisingly top-tier experience. The grounds and outdoor seating are extensive, with lots of choices. Think of it as a large meandering beer garden. The building and interior are really a surprise, clean, spacious, and nicely designed with adequate indoor seating, too. The beer menu and options are impressive. Since it was over 100 degrees, we did comfortably sit indoors, and I chose a larger light beer, a 10oz Bailey's Blond. It was refreshing and excellent. There's a beer for nearly every taste. They have a wide variety of other drink choices, including ciders and non-alcoholic beers. They also have pizza and salads. We ordered two pizzas + one gluten-free. Everything was excellent! The pizzas were perfectly and professionally made, quality and an adequate portion for each. The salads were fresh, large, and well prepared. The staff were incredible. They were all so helpful and attentive. Dueling Dogs... good job! What a great place. I removed one star in the hope of a broader menu over time, i.e., perhaps even... tacos? BBQ? with outdoor grilling. I definitely will return soon!

What a gem! Brewery is located a few minutes from Lincoln in a rural and peaceful area. Beers are top notch! Selection is ample: ales, wheat beer, IPA, ciders, mead, nitro's. All you need! If you're a dog owner, this place will be a paradise for your dog (large patio and big outdoors area). Oh yeah, did I already mention the delicious pizza's? Made to order :) We'll be back!

A great place to stop for a beer or cider or mead on a nice day. Depending on when you get there it can be hard to find parking. They offer a good selection of multiple options of alcoholic beverages. There is plenty of seating inside and outside around a nice pond. The staff are always friendly and offer advice on what to try. There are food trucks sometimes on weekends. Of course you can bring your dog.

It's always a fun time at dueling dogs, we recently went and had a flight of ciders and beers with our placer county summer passport. We love the pizza & snacks on site as well as the outdoor settings for kids to walk around and play. In ton fall they have an awesome walk through Halloween decor field. It is my 4 year olds favorite. The servers are friendly! And prices aren't bad. A flight is $15 - 5 5oz pours. My favorite this time was the Peach cider and the blood orange cider.

Visited on a Sunday and it was very busy. We unfortunately got to the place late and missed the live entertainment, but well before they closed. The facility is a mix of buildings with some indoor seating next to the service bar/taps, but the majority of tables and seating is patio and picnic tables spread out around a man made lake. It is simple, inviting and definitely designed for families. Service was friendly, but with only two servers for the crowd size, ineffective. Waited a fair amount of time to order due to people wanting to taste the beers available, which is normal and why they need more help. Food was pizza, which was just "OK". Beer was good, with a decent selection of styles to satisfy most tastes. Tried a flight and decided on the Hazy IPA for me and the brown ale for my wife. Although each was correct for the style, they were unremarkable. On the day we were there, they had a pumpkin patch and a Halloween walk. I like what they are doing and the facility, I just think they need to improve/refine it. Not sure I will go back, as it is a remote destination and didn't offer anything I would travel to again. That said, I wish them success going forward.

Surprisingly my aunt and I did not come here for the beer. We saw that they have a pumpkin patch open this season and decided to check it out. Located in Lincoln, I believe there are other breweries in the area as well. This brewery is a hidden gem! They have a huge pond and plenty of outdoor seating. The inside of the brewery was well air-conditioned. Plenty of parking available up top by the pond or closer by the entrance. The pumpkin patch was so cutely decorated and kid friendly. They have a wonderful selection of pre-picked pumpkins in so many different autumn hues. We got the chance to actually pick our own pumpkins from the actual pumpkin patch on site. It was easy to do, just twist and pull. It was very hot that day so I'm glad we were able to get it done early. The owners of the pumpkin patch were great! Turns out they own a winery close by. We did stop in for some pizza before heading out. The inside of the brewery was completely decked out in Halloween decor, it was awesome! The Margherita pizza was delicious! It was a thin pizza, not thick and is easily shareable for 2 people. The next time my aunt and I are in the area, we'll have to come back to try the beer!

Dueling Dogs has a wide variety of beer, cider, and mead. The server was exceptional and based on my likes selected the perfect beer for me. The flight was a great price for a good amount. The food was amazing! We had their August speciality pizza, boneless wings, and pretzel sticks with beer cheese that was so yummy we could eat it like soup! The inside was a buzz with music trivia and outside there were many options for seating. We will be back for sure!

This is mixed review for me because we stopped here on the Placer Valley Wine Trail. Dueling Dogs was not on my radar but I will say that their mead is top-notch! I had tried their PB & J Mead and it was so flavorful!! LIKE OMG THIS IS PB & J in a beer! Get a flight and try things because I did not have anything that I didn't like! Atmosphere is cute for dog-lovers but the seating was kinda awkward. Also, they only serve food at certain times, which we end buying a bag of pretzels because we were so hungry.

We love Dueling Dogs! We love the beer, pizza, and dog friendly vibe. We love sitting and enjoying a beer outdoors there and appreciate being able to have our pup with us. The Dora Dain pumpkin patch there is a fall tradition for our family as well! We have two kids ages 6 and 8, and we've never had a problem here with our kids getting scolded as others have mentioned. That being said, we do not let them run around unsupervised here, we do not let them try to interact with the animals, and we do not let them climb trees or pick fruit. What if everybody did that? This is a family friendly place, but common sense should prevail. If you are looking for a place to let your kids run around and do whatever they want, this isn't it. And who could blame Dueling Dogs? This is their home and their property. They want to keep it nice and for everyone to be safe. All in all, grab your dog and kids and enjoy the quiet rural setting. Grab a beer and pizza. It's a great spot!

This place is so friggin cool..The parking is super easy super close they have both staits and a ramp so either way your covered. They have a total of two bathrooms which are for men and women. They have so many beers on tap, I went with a party of four and we must have gotten around 20 beers total..It was a brewery so many to choose from. They also had a Mexican food truck yum we all got a different order so delicious so good. They had live music mainly 70's with a few of today's hits it was an epic jam for sure..The service was super quick..The food was great the beers were delicious and the price for the whole day was amazing.. If you haven't been check out Duelling dogs..So many dogs because they are allowed..so get your pet on,your drink on and your dance on no cover no parking fee..

This was such a cool find!…read more We came to town for a family members birthday party and wanted to stop by a brewery for lunch and check out the area. The place was way bigger than what I was expecting! The parking lot is huge, and it was packed! You order your beverage and food at the bar and they pour you your drinks and give you a pager for the food. I was impressed to see the food was coming out of a food truck for how large the venue is. I was drinking the Mexican lager, served with salt and lime. I thought it was super tasty, I liked it a lot. My husband was drinking the hazy ipa which had a pretty high percentage, I believe like a 7.5%! It was surprisingly easy to drink and fruity. Food we ordered the BLT and it was served with house made pickles and potato salad. The potato salad had cheddar cheese inside it, I like that twist. I ordered the pizza pretzel and at first thought $18.50 is pretty steep pricing for a pretzel but let me tell you, the pictures do not do the size justice. It is literally the size of a pizza! So big, covered in mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. Came with plenty of dipping sauce too. I loved it, it was so fresh and delicious, and perfect to share! I had more than half leftover to take home! Check this spot out it was pretty rad, they had live music and the vibes were great! We could've hung out here all day perfectly content.

Here's the hard truth, Hillenbrand has really good food and good beer. However, they are chasing away families left and right. Kids are not really welcome at all. The signs posted make it evident. The best seating area is marked with 21 and over on each and every table. I get it. Sometimes it's nice to have an adult only night out. However breweries in the area should decide who they want their customers to be. On a Thursday evening, it should really not be an issue for a family to have a nice night out. The highlight of our night for me was drinking beer out of a plastic cup. For the second round we asked for glassware, but were told we had to buy the glasses to have glassware. When we turned that down, we got a sales pitch for the monthly stein program. Sorry! For the monthly amount they want I'm pretty sure the winery around the corner has a better deal. We also asked if we could bring in our Hillenbrand glasses that we already have the next time to use and the girls behind the bar had no answer. The best part was when the bartender handed over the plastic beer cups and said enjoy your plastic. So the question is, next time we go out on a Thursday night to enjoy a beer and food is it going to be Hillenbrand or the 3 other breweries in the area. Also the girls behind the bar gratefully filled us in to the fact that Hillenbrand is not a brewery but in fact a bar. Too bad Ron wasn't there tonight. PS our two children were very well behaved and stayed by us the entire time we were there.
