Mead is good but the person working one of the registers....could've demonstrated better customer service skills. I was sitting at the high-top table right next to the register on the right. Once I finished my drink, I happened to be the next person in line anyway, since there was a person at the front register already being serviced & the person at the register closest to me had just received their drinks. The employee in the picture below asked to "help the next person in line." At that point, I'd already stood up and was waiting to get another & someone else had just walked in, but stood in the "main line." In retrospect, maybe I should've stood in that main line to begin with, but the employee clearly saw me standing there looking directly at her w/ an empty glass in my hand. Then after I spoke up & said I was indeed next in line, told me "Oh, well yeah...." & proceeds to let the gentleman who'd walked in after close his tab first. He didn't say/do anything when she asked who was next in line at first (b/c he came in after)...until she summoned him over. I informed her directly after that I'd heard cashiers calling people over from both sides & was just saving a step by going to the one that I would've ended up at anyway. Despite being among the few customers in the brewery at the time, we were told to keep our voices down in a manner that came across as rude and unwelcoming. With temperatures around 100°F outside, sitting indoors was the obvious choice. I saw online they had a lot of Halloween activities going on at this farm/brewery. We showed up a little late unfortunately my fault on a Friday so we were not able to have the pizza. The pizza did look delicious. The pizza they offer is wood fire. Can't wait to try it out next time I go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had a pumpkin patch also a haunted hops field. Being from a long line of many generations of brewing in both the US and Germany, it's rather ironic that I prefer wine! In any case, a group of friends came here to celebrate a post-birthday gathering, and it was wonderful. Tucked far away in a rural part of Lincoln, the atmosphere is both upbeat and fun, with a very surprisingly top-tier experience. The grounds and outdoor seating are extensive, with lots of choices. Think of it as a large meandering beer garden. The building and interior are really a surprise, clean, spacious, and nicely designed with adequate indoor seating, too. The beer menu and options are impressive. Since it was over 100 degrees, we did comfortably sit indoors, and I chose a larger light beer, a 10oz Bailey's Blond. It was refreshing and excellent. There's a beer for nearly every taste. They have a wide variety of other drink choices, including ciders and non-alcoholic beers. They also have pizza and salads. We ordered two pizzas + one gluten-free. Everything was excellent! The pizzas were perfectly and professionally made, quality and an adequate portion for each. The salads were fresh, large, and well prepared. The staff were incredible. They were all so helpful and attentive. Dueling Dogs... good job! What a great place. Went to the Easter event at Dueling Dogs . This was our first time ever going here , we just moved to Sun City Lincoln Hills from the Bay Area. What an absolutely amazing and brilliant event , an Easter egg hunt for dogs with dog treats inside the eggs. All good dogs at the event. The beer pizza and service is 5 star. I highly recommend Dueling Dogs for a truly memorable experience with your family and dog. It's always a fun time at dueling dogs, we recently went and had a flight of ciders and beers with our placer county summer passport. We love the pizza & snacks on site as well as the outdoor settings for kids to walk around and play. [[HIGHLIGHT]]In ton fall they have an awesome walk through Halloween decor field. Surprisingly my aunt and I did not come here for the beer. We saw that they have a pumpkin patch open this season and decided to check it out. Located in Lincoln, I believe there are other breweries in the area as well. This brewery is a hidden gem! They have a huge pond and plenty of outdoor seating. The inside of the brewery was well air-conditioned. Plenty of parking available up top by the pond or closer by the entrance. The pumpkin patch was so cutely decorated and kid friendly. They have a wonderful selection of pre-picked pumpkins in so many different autumn hues. We got the chance to actually pick our own pumpkins from the actual pumpkin patch on site. It was easy to do, just twist and pull. It was very hot that day so I'm glad we were able to get it done early. The owners of the pumpkin patch were great! Turns out they own a winery close by. We did stop in for some pizza before heading out. The inside of the brewery was completely decked out in Halloween decor, it was awesome! The Margherita pizza was delicious! It was a thin pizza, not thick and is easily shareable for 2 people. The next time my aunt and I are in the area, we'll have to come back to try the beer! read more

Waited a fair amount of time to order due to people wanting to taste the beers available, which is normal and why they need more help. Food was pizza, which was just "OK". Beer was good, with a decent selection of styles to satisfy most tastes. Tried a flight and decided on the Hazy IPA for me and the brown ale for my wife. Although each was correct for the style, they were unremarkable. This is mixed review for me because we stopped here on the Placer Valley Wine Trail. Dueling Dogs was not on my radar but I will say that their mead is top-notch! I had tried their PB & J Mead and it was so flavorful!! LIKE OMG THIS IS PB & J in a beer! Get a flight and try things because I did not have anything that I didn't like! We love Dueling Dogs! We love the beer, pizza, and dog friendly vibe. We love sitting and enjoying a beer outdoors there and appreciate being able to have our pup with us. The Dora Dain pumpkin patch there is a fall tradition for our family as well! We have two kids ages 6 and 8, and we've never had a problem here with our kids getting scolded as others have mentioned. That being said, we do not let them run around unsupervised here, we do not let them try to interact with the animals, and we do not let them climb trees or pick fruit. What if everybody did that? This is a family friendly place, but common sense should prevail. If you are looking for a place to let your kids run around and do whatever they want, this isn't it. And who could blame Dueling Dogs? This is their home and their property. They want to keep it nice and for everyone to be safe. All in all, grab your dog and kids and enjoy the quiet rural setting. They have so many beers on tap, I went with a party of four and we must have gotten around 20 beers total..It was a brewery so many to choose from. Really good beer and wood fired pizza! Our favorite! The staff is so sweet and friendly. So many happy customers it gives this place a fun social vibe. The owners are so welcoming and allow responsible parents to bring their "well-behaved" kids and dogs. You can tell the staff is looking out for all their customers and it makes you feel like family. We've been to dueling dogs several times before over the last 5+ and have never experienced what we did today. If you have kids and think it's a kid friendly place then you are mistaken. While they will sell you over priced thimble size container with worms to feed the ducks, you better not interact with the ducks in any other way unless it's in their completely made up designated area. Don't interact with the chickens that are free roaming. Don't even think about climbing a tree. Don't ! Don't ! Don't !!! My 8 year old left crying because she was yelled at by one of the employees for interacting with the chickens and ducks. My recommendation to the business owner open a library and make it 21 and up. read more

My husband and I frequent Dueling Dogs very often and each time we are met with a warm, welcoming, knowledgeable staff. The owners are very welcoming and have put so much into their brewery. We notice improvements almost every time we go! The pond is lovely to sit at and enjoy a beer, the covered large outdoor area on the other side of the pond is great for birthday celebrations, or larger groups, the patio right outside the brewery is convenient and close to the live music when they have it (usually spring/summer). The area down by the chicken coop is more quiet with lovely shade trees and another covered area for sitting. Ample seating! Their beers, meads and ciders offer something for everyone and in our opinion the best around. Go light, dark, hoppy, or wheat they have it all! Their newest addition of Odins pizza (made fresh on site!) offers delicious pizzas, salads, breadsticks, boneless wings etc. we haven't had a bad item off the menu yet . Trivia Friday nights are always fun and I heard they are adding line dancing this summer on Thursdays! Overall an amazing place and lovely addition to our community. Excellent brewery and serene grounds. While they are nice enough to allow kids, they do expect parents to parent! This is for the sake of other customers and pets. We as paying adults appreciate this and we are here to relax and not witness unsupervised children or their irresponsible parents allowing those children to climb on things or throw rocks at ducks. Their beer is the best in the area with crafted beer ranging from ales and a nitro and meads to ciders. We had peach salad and wood fired pizza today along with Bailey's Blonde beer. I would give it a zero if I could. We ordered a pizza and drinks, the girl ringing us up said it would be about 45 mins and to watch for a txt message or the screen on the wall. I never got a txt message nor was our name on the screen. Finally after the hr and 15 mark I went to ask her about the ETA to which she did not even apologize but actually asked me if I asked the kitchen my self. What? Then she went to the kitchen brought us a cold pizza and put it in front of us and said either you can get a refund or wait another 20 mins for a fresh one. I was in shock that this is the service we received. Been here many times and never had this happen. We told her to just put in an order for a new one. She returned a few minutes later with a pizza stating that one happen to just come out of the oven. She didn't offer fresh drinks for the long wait or a refund for good faith. I had to ask for the inconvenience fresh drinks since our drinks were now warm. To which she responded like I asked so much from her.
