Really annoying how these guys close early all the time. It's already annoying that their posted hours show a half hour later than they actually close but then they close even earlier a lot! On a Tuesday, too which right now they have all their best deals on Tuesday. So why are they closing early to "clean"? Can't this be done after hours so you can serve your customers? Last time I checked, this was the whole purpose of the business!. The staffing quality has gone way down hill the last year or so. I was ordering a Lg pep with light sauce and another medium pizza regular crust. The cashier said a thin crust 6.99, I said no thank you my kids don't like thin crust. Then the cashier continues to say well I'm trying to save you 11.99. I then said why would I try and save 11.99 if I know my kids won't eat the thin crust pizza? I ordered a medium gluten free crust and dairy free cheese which we liked. Ordered 5 different veggies, no meat. BUT the 5 veggies were cut into a VERY SMALL DICE, AND A FEW PUT ON PIZZA. Last minute dinner idea! We decided to do Papa Murphy's Pizza, the home of the Take and Bake! I haven't had their pizza in years, and the vegetarian pizza I had was delicious! Papa Murphy's is located in what is known as the Safeway parking lot. There are many other businesses around it, such as CVS, Golden One, a postal service, Sourdough & Company, and a few others. Their parking lot of huge! There is plenty of space to go around! When we pulled up, there was a spot right up front. We walked in, and we were greeted right away. We checked out their menu and decided on a chicken and bacon pizza with creamy garlic sauce... but then we did something crazy... we got it stuffed! Their stuffed crust pizzas have two layers, and to me, they are like a deep dish with a huge crust! The bottom layer was creamy garlic sauce with chicken and bacon, and the second layer is creamy garlic sauce with cheese, onions, and tomato. It looked so good! It was damn heavy! The 2 men that were working were fast and friendly. He had our pizza done in under 10 minutes. We got home and cooked that stuffed pizza with the directions given (350° for about 35 minutes...) I forgot to say that when we got home, we added pepperoni because I didn't want to pay the extra $2+ for the topping, plus I already had some(shhhh). It turned out super delicious, but after the first slice, you'll full as f, lol. So a large stuffed pizza easily feeds 10-12 people or takes a few days to finish and... who doesn't like leftover pizza??!! A+ all around. Top notch customer service. Having doubts about giving this place any more of my money... my family was treated horribly when we went in for a pickup order. The staff is extremely lazy, rude, and most importantly they don't give a damn. The manager is a ghost and no where to be seen... I think it's time for a resurrection. We ordered takeout for dinner last night from Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza. It worked out well. Our food was ready within 20 minutes of our phone call and everything was just as we asked - except no salad dressing was provided. Note, it was Friday night, and they were abnormally busy. Our meal consisted of a Chicken Caesar Salad, a tin of anchovies and a large, thin-crust pizza. The salad was crisp and fresh and tasted great with the shredded chicken and anchovies. Fortunately, we had the proper dressing at home. The pizza was very tasty. Extra cheese, double mushrooms, sausage, mixed onions, and pepperoni. The thin crust baked up perfectly. So i was really hungry... And I was in BEAUTIFUL Lincoln California.. And I was craving a pizza... I walked inside this Papa Murphy's and the AC alleviated all the tension I was carrying inside me from the hot UNFORGIVING Lincoln sun. The cashier was shy.. It seems like everyone in Lincoln is very shy.. However the people of Lincoln California know how to make such a delicious yummy pizza!! When I got home and made this pizza, I WAS BLOWN WAY. I had an issue with the Papa Murphy's online ordering system. I went through the process of placing an order on an Amazon Fire HD tablet, a Google Pixel 4 Android phone and at the end of the process there was NO Place Order button. I finally was able to place the order using Place Order button on my PC. I went to pick up my two pizza's and everything was fine. However, to my surprise on my bank statement there were three identical charges, one for each of the device I tried to order through. (And I did not get the additional pizzas.) I have tried multiple times to get a refund for two of the orders but the franchise owners are doing nothing but ignore my requests. We love Papa Murphy's. Can buy the pizza when we're out. Cook it when we want. It's delicious, and hot. I always use the crispy crust method, where you take it off the cardboard and onto the oven rack after 10 minutes. I'm spoiled, don't think I'll do take out ever again. read more

BUT another customer and I had to wait a minute to get inside the door as the automatic sliding glass door was broken and a male employee had to open it to let us in. Once he did, the three poor guys working there were working in extreme heat! Hellish conditions! At least 100° in there!!! That is not healthy for the employees or the customers! Please fix the AC and the door! Everything else was superb! The three gentlemen who were working, were very polite and efficient! Fast!! We need more people like those three in this world! This has been our favorite Papa Murphy's location for many years now. Everyone is friendly, they do a great job with customizing toppings and so easy to deal with - online ordering or by the phone. Am motivated to write because of the pizza we got last night. I don't know if they have changed their crust batter ingredients or mixing method but it was the best crust I have EVER had!! This place papa Murphy's in lincoln used to be the best. I noticed the last 6 months it has gone down hill, they used to have a great worker name Chris who worked there and he was always smiling and so friendly and helpful and just every time always gave great service and always had his co workers in a good mood smiling ,but the last time I have gone in they over charged for the side sauces and no one was smiling and just didn't feel the same . We miss Chris get that man back at all cost he was such a great worker are family misses seeing and getting great service when he was in charge. I think we will be driving an extra 5-10 mins to the rocklin papa Murphy's for the better service and prices but over all this used to be the best papa Murphy's by far it's still a fair place to go to but miss the old great customer service we used to get. read more

I love this place. Take and bake is the best thing ever. I've been going to this place to buy pizza since ever I moved to Lincoln, the people are very nice and pizza is very delicious at all times. I decided I didn't want to cook today! Went to Safeway and got pre-made sushi for lunch and then decided to walk over to Papa Murphy's to get a partially pre-made dinner! :) When we walked into the store, there was an older gentle refilling the toppings who kindly greeted us and told us that someone would be with us right away to make our pizza. And so, right away, a young man came out and greeted us. We haven't been into a Papa Murphy's in over 15 years so had forgotten how to order. He explained what our options were and what we needed to do. We ordered half cowboy - which has a lot of meat, and 1/2 vegetarian, since I don't care for meat on a pizza. The best part of all this was that this young man seemed actually happy to be making our pizza. He wanted to make us the best pizza. He even asked me if I wanted more of a certain vegetable. Beautiful looking pizza. We just cooked it and ate it for dinner, and it was delicious! What great flavors. The only thing that was a slight difficulty was that the vegetarian side of the pizza didn't get as hot as the meat side since the vegetables contain more moisture than the meat. Extremely rude people. I ordered a pizza and drove 25 minutes to pick it up. Not only did they not make the pizza, but the woman working there was very rude and told us she didn't have my order or have time to make it because they were busy. When I called to speak with the manager, first they told me he was busy, then they told me he was not there. They would not give me the manager's name, and resisted even giving me their names. Then the woman working there told him to just put the phone down and walk away, which he did. I thought he hung up on me so I called back, and he told me what he did. Ok so I just watched an employee clean up while food prep was going on. I mean, use spray cleaner near and over people performing food prep, obviously getting cleaner on the food being prepped. I even received a "yeah, what of it?" look when I chose to take a closer look. Calling a "manager" later only led to more disappointment. Extremely gross. The team thought it was hilarious that I said something to the young man waiting on me and had a good laugh before I got out the door. I don't think I've seen such blatant disregard at a food service operation before. All I can think about now is what might be in my pizza :-( read more

I guess this is to be expected and I am sure we will be seeing more of this from all types of businesses... but I guess I expected a bit more from one of our favorite take out places. We ordered our normal two pizzas on the 8th of May, 2020 and as usual we paid a reasonable amount for what we ordered. Today, May 15th just one week later the price of our custom half and half pizza (saved to our account) increased from $24 to $45! Quick change of plans!!! We still wanted pizza, so we settled for more basic pizza choices... BUT even more bad news!! We got home to find that Papa Murphy's has not only raised their prices for custom pizza (half n half) orders, but they have also decreased the toppings. We always order light cheese, but this time we found that light cheese means the cheese is missing!!! Very disappointed. I know that it has been hard for many if not all businesses due to this pandemic and I really want to support our local businesses, but if you are going to make such dramatic changes at least give your patrons some warning and maybe you will get more understanding. We go to papa Murphy's all the time. We happened to be in Lincoln and decided to get pizza. It was 48.00 for 3 large thin crust. The garlic chicken didn't taste like there was any garlic at all, very little taste. The pepperoni pizza was so paper thin that you couldn't even pick up a piece to eat it. We always get thin crust and it has never been like that. They were sloppily made to begin with. It's a shame because Papa Murphys is our favorite but this one was terrible. Never terrible. Never fantastic. Would say slightly above average taste wise. Service is always friendly. Even recently had a certificate for free cookie dough, which my daughter earned because of good grades, and the young lady on purpose didn't take the certificate. Yay! More free cookie dough!!! The thin crust delights are actually pretty good, especially the chicken-bacon-artichoke hearts. Oh! We have been going to Papa Murphys in Lincoln for almost seven years now. However, this is the last time! The pizza we got was so awful that we couldn't eat it. Since the last several times we had ordered pizza with chicken and artichokes, we decided to change up the order. The chicken and artichokes had gotten very bad. This time we ordered ground beef with tomatoes and olives. It was terrible. We could hardly find the ground beef. There were tiny pieces less than 1/8th inch in size. My husband and I love Papa Murphy's...not only is the pizza good, but it's super cheap and CAN be relatively healthy if you order the right type of pizza. We typically go with the herb mediterannean chicken delite, or the spinach artichoke garlic delite with the garlic sauce instead of the cream sauce (always the delite though). The only ding away from 5 stars I gave this place was because we've called up there before and after a long wait on the phone were told it would be over a half hour to get our pizza. At most pizza joints this would be fine, but Papa Murphy's elsewhere is always ready within 5-10 minutes, and it seemed a little absurd that it would take over a half hour to assemble a raw pizza. Take and bake! After the remodel of the store it is even better. A favorite place for a quick dinner. Everyone is very nice and the location is very clean. Look for coupons in the mail for a discount. If you frequent Papa Murphy's often ask for a stamp card, because after your 12th pizza you can get one for 1/2 off.
